- «Just Like Heaven» es el decimoséptimo sencillo de la banda británica de rock alternativo The Cure. El grupo escribió gran parte de la canción durante las sesiones de grabación en el sur de Francia en 1987. La letra fue escrita por el líder de la banda, Robert Smith, quien se inspiró en un viaje pasado a la orilla del mar con su futura esposa. Antes de que Smith completara la letra, una versión instrumental de la canción fue usada como tema para el programa de televisión francés Les Enfants du Rock.

Oscuro y romántico para muestra su relación con Mary Poole la conoció con 14 años y lleva con ella desde 1988 (ahí es nà) y su regalo de bodas Lovesong..... Es único

The Cure are so great. I was a metalhead back in the 80s, but loved the Cure as well. There I stand at a Cure concert among 90% girls and I'm the weird looking long haired guy jamming out to the Cure asking why aren't they going to play "The Blood" or something off the main track. I was so out of place, girls found me interesting. I sang THIS song with a girl (Valarie) I had never met before, never saw again after that night. Good times...Thanks to the boys for giving me the backdrop the time of my life. Now I'm a normal old dude, married with kids...still love metal and still love the Cure.

Aprecio mucho esta música, mas la que la que esta de moda y que supuestamente representa mi generación. Estas letras poéticas donde se refleja el desamor en tonalidades musicales exquisitas. Cuando daría que se pudiera andar con los colegas escuchando esta sublime banda y no que ahora todos escuchan "Trap", donde hasta las mismas mujeres se sienten a gusto escuchar tan degenerativo "genero" musical.
