This singer is a beast! Even throat cancer lost against him. \m/
Bruce is a f...g legend.
The singer is a beast, i agree. He is EDDIE!!!!!!
Only 50% of this joke makes sense.
I saw them in Vegas a couple months ago. I gotta say, I think they're the best.
Truth!
in the 80's High school teachers were perplexed on how the METALHEADS and STONERS were getting good grades in one subject. History. Thank You Iron Maiden!
Lol. I know right!!!
Studies show Metalheads are actually the smartest when compared to other mainstream music genres
@@lisavranesevic5754 That's so true
Motherfuckers from my class say that metal don't learn me anything and they even listen to kpop and they even know who Hitler is
I submitted 'Civil War' by Guns n' Roses as my English essay. Got an A+. The teacher was blown away by "my" social awareness. :)
Iron maiden is almost it's own music style. They're so damn unique. Love them and this tune just gets me everytime.
There's a reason why I learned this song. The final lyrics are so powerful. Through all that winning someone who seemed like a God died of a fever. UP THE IRONS!
Iron Maiden - Infinite Dreams will touch your soul!
Great song
I request this all the time on so many reaction channels. Someone seriously needs to finally do it.
This song is criminally underrated!
I support this message 🤘🏻
I agree
I have a friend that wrote a history report on Alexander just using these lyrics, got an a!
I did too..i luv history
I would laugh until I was dead if I did that and got a good grade
Kinda sad though. This is accurate but leaves lots if important details out. Glad he got a good grade though!
Not sad at all, he had to do a report, not write a book.
@@jordansmith5754 how long did you want the song to be? lol
The Loneliness of a Long Distance Runner is my favorite off of that album.
!Amen

Iron Maiden's Infinite Dreams, studio version with lyrics. Its amazing
So it the title track, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.
Amazing lyrics!
The live version is awesome too
I always thought Moonchild would be a great one for these people to look at.
My fave Maiden track ever!!!
If you want another history lesson, react to Paschendale Iron Maiden - Live at Death on the Road. It describes the horror and bloodshed of WW1 and is a fantastic song. The cymbals are meant to portray morse code and the drums were written like bombs falling. I love the live version.
The live version is awesome, but I think the studio version would be better because he can react to the lyrics.
Reaction of Paschendale's Live version with lyrics will be awesome.
The studio version has far greater dynamic range
The studio version is better.
Yes, Paschendale is a must
Seeing them live is crossed off of my bucket list. Front stage in Buffalo NY one year ago.
I finally got to see them at 43 years old. Fucking amazing show.
Saw them in Rochester when i was in high school back in 92. Then saw em twice at Darien lake in the 2000s. They never disappoint.
You hit the nail on the head when you said “You feel like the music touches you” that is how I feel when I hear Iron Maiden. Best description I have ever heard about music. Love your reactions!
I don't listen to them so often actually, but I can barely hold tears everytime I do
Iron Maiden - Seventh son of a seventh son
Number one.
The prophecy is my fave on that album
He is not ready for that one yet
Iv requested the same quite a few times. Live on the maiden england tour..
Yes yes yes
You know what man, I envy you. I've heard nearly every iron maiden song so many times. I love them all, but to be able to experience any of them again for the first time... Oh man... I can't wait to see you journey through their catalogue.
Maiden has got to be my favorite band. They are the only band I can think of where every. Single. Song. Is amazing. It doesn't matter if it's Bruce Paul or Blaze, there is not one bad song in their entire catalogue. Every song is at the very least good.
Hope one day you put down the 20 minutes it takes to adventure through Empire of the Clouds off their newest album
dramatic, but true
I grew up listening to maiden but I agree. How awesome would it be to go back and hear them all for the first time.
Empire of the clouds is an absolute masterpiece.
The smiths also have a whole range of awesome songs but they are quite a different genre of music
I’d give a great deal to experience my musical library for the first time again.
I grew up listening to Iron Maiden. It sparked so many subjects for research. I am now 50 years old and very grateful to this band.
“To Tame A Land”. Another EPIC song by Maiden!!
Its off the Piece of Mind album
You need to listen to the whole album, Somewhere in Time. The guitars, the solos alone, are from another planet.I just love that album...Thanks for the reaction video! 👍
My favorite maiden album I got this cassette when I was 8 and rocked it every night to sleep lol
Over produced, bloated and self-satisfied.
Shame they play nothing more from this except of wasted years & Heaven can wait
Adrian The Metalhead Yeah, I agree. Imagine them opening with Caught somewhere in time again on a future tour.
@@geirydp that Would be great. I hope for an History Tour for SIT & the 90's but i think this will never happen. Or a new Album:)
One of the Best albums Ever !!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 🎸 🎶
PaPaDew 1968. you Damn right
Every Iron Maiden song, "This might be my favorite Iron Maiden song." I love it. Lol. Peace.
Iron Maiden - Empire of the clouds. An 18 minute history lesson
Iron Maiden - Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
Iron Maiden - Caught Somewhere in Time
Iron Maiden - Deja Vu
Please man!
He must listen to caught somewhere in time.
Somewhere in time....my personal favourite album of Maiden....and u forgot Sea of madness :)
Why not the complete "Somewhere In Time" album, then? ;-)
@Канал Истины I say this fuck you anyway!!!
@Канал Истины Юпитер fuck you commie
I see Iron Maiden, I see King KTF, I click.
He really feels the charm
He gets us.
Same here, I love Pres and his taste of good music. UP THE IRONS AND PRES!
I love how Iron Maiden isn't just a band of gifted musicians and great performers. They transform history and great literature into legendary songs of power. I'm sure many Maiden fans have been led into appreciating such subjects, via songs like this.
Not only are they awesome as a metal/rock band, but they also contribute to classical education.
IRON MAIDEN IS AN INTELLIGENT BAND NOT JUST ROCKING....that's why my favorite band
One of the most underrated Maiden tunes. This deserves to be way more popular than it is.
It's a hidden gem that only true Maiden fans adore.
When I started listening to Iron Maiden 25 years ago this was one of my least favourite songs, now it's TOP 5. ;D Music taste changes as you get older.
I remember when this album came out and fans were hating on the guitar syths, but this album has 3 of my fav Maiden songs. "Wasted Years", "Alexander The Great", and "Stranger In A Strange Land". Also, Adrian Smith is the shit!
8 - 10 - 22
Alexander the Great mentored by Aristotle
Aristotle mentored by Plato
Plato mentored by Socrates
@@porfiriojohn5276 I was a philosophy major in college. I remember learning that Socrates probably never existed, and that it was probably just a name that Plato used when he was teaching. In other words, Socrates was actually Plato, much like Kilgore Trout was actually Kurt Vonnegut, and Zarathustra was actually Friedrich Nietzsche.
More history lessons by Iron Maiden:
WW 1 - Paschendale
WW 2 - The longest day
There's something so cool about the way "The Longest Day" opens. The music is just brilliant. What a great song!
There also is aces high
definitely, it's my favourite song on that album@@keithholm7493
@@scottlow6342 I totally agree!
@@aidenmcdaniel4641 he did aces high a bit ago
One of the most ALMIGHTY songs in history. Nice choice, Preston :)
Para los que nos gusta iron maiden cada que escuchemos su musica disfrutemosla porque no creo que volbamos a tener otra banda que se le acerque ha tanto talento
Iron Maiden - Stranger in a Strange Land Please!!!!!
The Loneliness of a Long Distance Runner
Yes both of these!!
ABSOLUTELY!!!
Best song of all time!!!!
Yes, and Sea Of Madness. Heck any song off Somewhere!
Iron Maiden - Paschendale
Iron Maiden - Caught somewhere in time
Iron Maiden - Flight of Icarus
I HAVE LITERALLY LOVED Flight of Icarus since the early 80's!!!!!!! I remember when the video premiered on MTV, I was hooked immediately!
Paschendale!! yeah
@Frank. T agreed,, first maiden song I ever heard knowingly.
Dude...your reaction videos always knock it out of the park. Keep up the amazing work good brother.
There is a band today that makes songs mostly about historical events, Sabaton. Might wanna check 'em out.
You always feel it when you are in the presence of greatness.
This song is one of these times.
Even hit the thumbs up before watching so fast 👌😂😂.
If I may suggest: Iron maiden: The reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg.
Such an underrated song!!!
A matter of life and death is a really good album imo
Very good album
Yes!
Extremely Underrated song
My favorite off of AMOLAD
Also one I think he'd love lyrically is Rainmaker.
Benjamin Breeg is a must Preston!!!!
Growing up I had the poster of the album on my wall. Still one of my favorite bands after all these years.
I’m 49 years old, a woman and still have that poster on my wall that I turned into my office! Still look at every detail on that poster!
You make all these songs new for me again!! I thank you!
Please do caught somewhere in time off this album as well!
Love the video bro stay motivated 1 Mill on the way
I really love how you are able to appreciate and see the real value in music, especially rock and metal, you really feel music❤️
That solo at 4:53 has to be my favorite solo in any song I've heard. It's just so perfect for the song.
Man! You gotta react to Iron Maiden - Sign of the Cross (Live at Rock in Rio)!!
Sign of the Cross is the first Maiden song I ever heard. I found The X Factor (used, it was actually the owner's kid's originally lol) at a corner store.
The rest of the album wasnt really that remarkable but Sign of the Cross drew me in, especially as an aspiring bass player myself
Then this version with Bruce from Rock in Rio dropped... Sorry Blaze, hes got you beat man
@@Nisi1Funny stuff 'cause my brother used to own The X Factor and the first Maiden song I've ever listened to was precisely Sign of the Cross when I was ten, I immediately fell in love with iron Maiden.
I love that version, but people always forget how good _'Dream of Mirrors'_ is from that same show. Both were never performed live again after that tour.
Flight of Icarus. Why won't you believe us?
Because it's an overrated mainstream song with verse chorus verse chorus verse chorus zzz
@@pierreo33 What?!? Overrated? Mainstream?
Well compared to other Maiden songs it's not that great (I mean in comparison)
@@pierreo33 WTF RU talking about mainstream? In what universe?
I vote for Flight as well!
Iron Maiden is STILL putting out great albums, and filling arenas around the world. If you've never seen them live, GO and check them out. They are every bit as good now, as they were in the 80's, on stage. So much energy, and killer stage show!
I love your reactions and comments. You “clearly” get it and appreciate Iron Maiden’s music. You are very detail oriented and it shows. There are so many aspects of their songwriting sets them apart and I am glad that you can see it. Have an awesome holiday and Merry Christmas 🎄
You said nobody requested it. Quite the opposite, it's probably the most requested Maiden tune on your channel. Next, I would recommend "Flight of Icarus."
Iron Maiden - Infinite Dreams
Infinite Dreams, 7th son of 7th son... and Empire of the Clouds, and the book of souls. ALL IRON MAIDEN Master pieces.
ah Preston BRUCE DICKINSON studied History at University in UK.
Man, you uploaded this on my birthday... What a gift! 😀👏
Maiden songs you may wanna listen:
INFINITE DREAMS
STILL LIFE
POWERSLAVE
22 ACACIA AVENUE
THE EVIL THAT MAN DO
That's ironic you have them listed that way, Infinite Dreams is my favorite Iron Maiden song and Still Life is my second favorite.
And Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son.
Wasting love is great and so is ghost of the navigator.
He did powerslave though...
@@threecoininthefounta you right...i love so much the song that totally forgot.
More Iron Maiden! The Clansman Rock in Rio Live version
I always enjoy your reactions!! The thought that goes into Iron Maidens lyrics always astonishes me. It's usually something that makes you think or tells a story so vividly that you can almost see what they are talking about! Please react to their song Passchendale... It's another incredibly thought provoking song of theirs.. All the best to you!
Iron Maiden - Infinite Dreams or Empire of the Clouds
Other Iron Maiden songs that you need to react to.
Infinite Dreams
Can I play with madness
Prisoner
PASSCHENDAELE

You should hear Rob Halford rap on Freewheel Burning.
Not to mention the searing guitar solo.
In "Rapid Fire" too
Dave mustaine in "liar"

I love your reactions dude. It’s very clear to me that you actually get it. You pay attention to the detail and nevertheless appreciate the artist and the music. Cheers friend!!
One of my favorites too. If you want to hear Bruce really showcase his vocals give a listen to " The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner". Thank You Sir!!
Also Sea of Madness

TheBluearmy33 I saw them there amazing in concert 🤘🤘
TheBluearmy33 Preston has to go see them
I agree he definitely needs to see them live.. it's just a experience like no other!
Please do iron maiden,,the loneliness of the long distance runner ,,or one of the greatest storys,,paschendale!!!
If an up and coming band from 2019 released “Alexander the Great” tomorrow, they would immediately dominate radio and be hailed as the future.
I wish that were true
I was 14 when heard this song first time, back in 1988. A real shock for a teenager.
Dude, react to Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (studio version with lyrics). It is one of Maiden's greatest compositions as it is ATG. 🤘😎🤘
Might be the song that Displays Bruce's Powerful vocal Endurance the best.
A pure Vocal God
You are 100% correct sir :)
PROBABLY one of the best albums
Iron maiden
Dance of death.

Bro about time you put a video worth watching. I was wondering what was going on. Good video reaction 👍🏽 keep em coming 🤘🏽
And if you want listen Bruce rapping react to Bruce Dockinson-Shoot All The Clown from his solo career
Bruce Dickinson - Sacred Cowboys will be better :D He is really rapping there.
Scream For Me I was thinking Jerusalem off of Chemical Wedding.
Try iron Maiden paschendale or the nomad if you are into history. If you want to hear bruce rap, than song sacred cowboys IS your choice. Please listen to one of them.

Love that you are reacting to Alexander the Great and l love that you liked the song. Greetings from Macedonia
It’s sad that you can’t see our reactions as well..I was smiling during the video expecting your reaction..you’re truly unbiased and that’s why I enjoy watching your videos!! Much love from the ancient land of Alexander, Greece!!
Great reaction! Love this song! History was always my fave subject - got my undergrad degree in history. I'd love for you to dreact to the live version of The Clansman. Pretty good history lesson there, too. Some others here also suggested Paschendale - a great song about WWI.
I agree with infinite dreams. Great song another deep meaning that Maiden is known for. Keep up the good work Preeeeeeesttton. You rock man.
I prefer the evil that men do....
One of their best songs! So nice to see you pick this one up!
You're almost there bruhhhhhh......CAUGHT SOMEWHERE IN TIME🤘🤘🤘
You should definitely listen to Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
Brighter than a Thousand Suns is also a good one for the history fan
Another Maiden history lesson you might want to check out is Empire of the Clouds. Word of warning though, It's longer than Avengers Endgame :D
I laughed hard at that xD
I have a hard time with that song because there's a part in it that sounds just like Paul McCartney's "Live and Let Die". Not a Paul fan, but I am a 007 fan, and the parts sound almost identical.
Empire Of The Clouds is a hidden masterpiece!!!
@@vikusen1857 I just hate that whole part that they clearly took from "Live and Let Die".
this is a masterpiece dude!
Dude... I'm relieving every Iron Maiden song you react to ... so happy I found this channel... and Yes, please do more iron maiden! 🤘 ... maybe an early tune with the vocalist before Bruce... "phantom of the opera "
If you want more history do SABATON!!!👍🇸🇪
This reaction was great.Love maiden.
Stay safe n well😊
Sabaton is pretty good!
If a band came out with this music today it would blow everyone’s mind because Iron Maiden were pioneers in metal and had a lot of making it what it is today. So if they hadn’t came out and barely came out now everyone’s heads would literally explode. Maybe that’s just the die hard Maiden head in me but that’s my opinion lol
There are no bands around today that can make music this good.
Which is really sad.
I have been an Iron Maiden Fan since i was 10. Now almost 50. I don't think that the youth of today would have any concept or knowledge of what music even is . Like you said "Some songs don't even need lyrics". The instruments are actually telling the story too. And you can hear the battles and fear of the people.
Thanks Ru
Keep doing what you do.
