First solo right after the "chill part" was Adrian Smith, then the second was Dave Murray. The third guitarist that was doing the windmills is Janick Gers. He joined the band when Adrian Smith had left the band to do his own thing, and some years later when Smith rejoined the band they decided that rather than boot Janick Gers out like other bands would have done they would instead have a 3-guitar lineup, and that it made a lot of sense since their studio recordings had multiple layers of guitar and harmonies anyway.

Judson likes bands that reference literature - Maiden has quite a catalogue of songs referencing literature (20+). A few recommendations (but certainly not limited to):
    Moonchild (1988)
Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner (1986)
    Children of the Damned (1982)
When The Wild Wind Blows (2010)
    Brave New World (2000)
Out of the Silent Planet (2000)
    To Tame a Land (1983)
There's many more, especially their older stuff, but these would make for great reactions in my opinion.
    Up the Irons!

I was lucky enough to see Iron Maiden on their 2008 Somewhere Back in Time Tour, which was a like a dream come true because I was 10 years old when Iron Maiden did the World Slavery Tour in 1984/85, nearly 40 years ago! That 2008 show is still one of the best concerts I’ve been to in over 30 years of active concert going. This reaction brought back some cool memories of that show, though the one I attended was in May in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but it was the same stage set up of course. Love Iron Maiden to pieces. There was a rumor that they would shorten it for concerts but nope, aside from playing some things a bit fast it was all there. Dave Murray plays the sunburst, Adrian Smith the white, andJanick Gers played the black strat. He initially joined Maiden when Adrian left to do some solo work, when he decided to return, they figured since Janick was doing the job well, they decided to keep him on. Just a little history.

If I remember correctly, this song was in about the middle of the show.

This song is based on The Rime of the Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1798)

I think Iron Maiden beats Rush!!!!

Said statement is from a person that does not know the differences in expertise that each band has. pfft. Rush is an absolute spiritual virtuoso threesome. Maiden also has deep profound wisdom of Music and both have had endless decades of Music. There is absolutely nothing like Rush's come back after Neil lost his spouse and dtr.

For a reaction channel you’ve chosen a reactor whose most noticeable feature is a lack of reaction. I can’t see this being a successful combination.

@@judsong Interestingly they changed after the death of one of the brothers.. I forget which one.. and kinda became the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (among other projects.) You may remember them for the Christmas-themed music they performed that was used for many Christmas light displays on houses in the early/mid 2000's.

@@uoabigaillevey I have been a huge fan of savatage ever since their first album they have gone through many changes over the years the first being the first guitar player and founding member Criss Oliva was killed in a car accident the line up of the band changed a bunch of times even the singer the other founding member of the band Jon Oliva stopped singing and just played piano and yes you are right he did go on to form The Transiberean orchestra

@@alyssahudson1743 The main thing I remember about them other than that was back when MTv actually played music videos 24/7 was their video for 'Hall of the Mountain King' due to it's visual association with my own fantastical mental imagery of Dungeons and Dragons. So much so that I bought their cassette at some point that had the song on it.
I was actually kinda weirded out later that although the song itself was titled as such.. that it was not a metal-ized version of the classical 'Hall of the Mountain King' composition with lyrics added.. and that the prior song.. which was an instrumental.. was the actual 'Hall of the Mountain King' done on amplified/distorted guitar lol.
My memory on that last bit may be off and it may not be exactly note-for-note but I think it was.

Maybe it's time to meet 5 beautiful ladies in high heels and dresses playing classic heavy metal? For starters, I recommend the song Break the Wall from their earlier albums. Boasting over 70 hit singles, they won Best New Metal Band at the Metal Hammer Awards in 2018. The girls play heavy, thrash, power and prog metal, they also have some beautiful ballads.
