Cycle the key without starting engine. Runs the tank fuel pump to purge air. Cycle the key the same way when you change fuel filters. Always do it to prevent a dry high pressure pump.
I’ve done banks air intake, monster ram, boost tubes, and pedal monster, 5” dpf back exhaust 21 ram 3500 night edition this thing comes ALIVE!!!! Best mods for my full warranty!!❤❤ your gunna love it man!!
@exile3469 I honestly have a local dealership that are good people, I had the conversation with them about the parts, they were good about it and no it didn’t void my warranty, I know have 37k miles on my truck so my 3 yr/36k has ended… BUT I LOVE everything I’ve done Banks!!
I got the banks monster ram intake elbow & ATS Stage 2 aurora VFR 4000 turbo on my 2018 4th gen, what a crazy difference, that made, even on stock tune you can tell shes got more grunt
I have that same basic set a long with a BD exhaust manifold and a bulletproof diesel water pump. On my 14'. That St2 aurora is pretty nice. Wow what a difference.
I voided my Ram warranty by giving myself a better warranty. But I understand, these trucks cost a lot. I’d just rather it live a completely clean life of not eating it’s own s***.
Great video. Agree 100% that Banks makes great products. I'll never understand people hating on Banks. Maybe price? Get what you pay for right. Great tip on the Fuel rail not removing it. Purchasing one for my new 2024 HO 3500. My truck is the same model as this, so glad you did this video. Did you say Military Discount? Nice! Hooah
Has anyone had code issues with the Banks products? I installed the cold air intake, Intake elbow and boost tubes. I keep getting turbo under over boost codes and EGR insufficient flow. The Egr, butterfly valve and cooler. Have been completely cleaned. They were not even bad. Still getting codes. Banks told me this is a known issue. They rarely see it. One in every 100 trucks. I feel like this is BS. Besides deleting and tuning. Or going back to stock. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try?
Mine is doing the same thing…after extensive conversations with the banks engineers…we all decided to just ignore them…Banks did the install at their headquarters in Azusa cali…we finally decided the flow to the turbo was increased so much that the pressure sensors are just confused…you want that flow to be as high as possible…as long as it’s driving alright I say just ignore the dash light…be warned to get something like an Xtool obd2 reader and check those codes once a month or so…so that something new has not shown up
@@jfdjkdjfkjdkput the stock parts back on, run it for a couple thousand miles and the reinstall, I had same issue on mine and that seemed to have cleared it up
Dude I just love watching your videos even though most of the time I’m lost. I drive a 2016 3500 ram and love it. I’ve never considered doing or having any of this work done I guess because I really don’t understand why you do it.
Bought both fass and air dog. Air dog was came ready to install with special needs and etc. Fass was off the shelf generic and had no idea about my application.
Pedal monster is a must. I installed one on my 07 6.7 and I can't drive the truck without it. Just spend the money!!!! Its my most favorite upgrade I've done to my truck and I've done alot!!
100% agree, I have a pedal monster on my 2020 2500 and it was a game changer. I've been using the mobile app to control it, but have an iDash on it's way. Also just purchased the Boost Tube Upgrade Kit, Monster-Ram Intake System, and Monster Exhaust System. Can't wait to get those installed!
Great video; I am Joe, been following your channel from VA with a 2500 , I am thinking of the complete set of bank’s upgrade for the engine. Hopefully I connect with you one day for these upgrades.
Best to ask your local dealer or find one that says they wont care and will still honor my dealer tried to void my warranty for the pedal monster and the cold air intake
If your extended warranty is with anybody other than mopar they will not honor it with any aftermarket parts on the truck. They voided my brothers for a s&b filter 1 month after buying it.. My mopar never said anything when I took mine in.
Awesome video man! One question where do you order your exhaust and egr “solutions”? Buying a new truck soon and wanted to see where I could get some parts from. Owned a 2015 ram deleted and tuned and then got me a 08 ram 3500 mega cab g56 for a play truck but I recently got rid of them and looking to get into something different now. Weight loss is an absolute must for the new truck any input would be greatly appreciated man. Again awesome content been a long time fan.
Appreciate it man. I looked on their site not too long ago and they have a notice stating they don’t ship weight loss parts to the US they can do the tuning but won’t send any parts out. I’ll have to look again and check with them. Once again I definitely appreciate the feedback man. Keep up the good content my man.
@@jeffelmore6652 THATS HOW I UNDERSTAND THINGS AS WELL. IM SO FAT AND WOULD LOVE TO USE THEIR PRODUCTS BUT IT DOSENT SEEM AS THOUGH I CAN GET A FITNESS PROGRAM HERE IN TEXAS AND IM SO FAT AND SAD. HOW DO I GET THEM TO HELP ME
You were lucky you didn't have the second alternator in the way. You always have to use new gaskets and never reuse gaskets. You didn't talk about the hidden bolt inside the Monster Ram.
As I’m watching you guys wrench I’m amazed at the amount of extra stuff in that engine compartment compared to day the vehicles I was used to wrenchin on. I give you two mad props for getting in there and making things happen. Listen I just purchased a 2016 Ram Laramie 3500 6.7 Dually and I’m looking into upgrading stuff as well. It bone stock and I’ve never owned a truck let alone a diesel. What’s your thoughts on my first upgrade being the Banks Pedal Monster with the phone app? Anyways I’m digging your videos and I just subscribed to your channel. ✌🏽

Did this void your warranty?
@exile3469

Yea man ain't nothing wrong with that haha I see it both ways too
I agree with you I’d like to do the same but I live in CA and I feel like as soon as I rid the garbage I’ll get screwed.

Hi. I'm planning to purchase a 2012 Freightliner M2 106 with a ISB 6.7L Cummins. How good is this engine?
So the ram intake horn doesn’t void any warranty and still keeps “emissions intact” meaning you can still pass smog in states that require?
Correct!!

Get a pedal monster. Just installed mine on my 21 3500 and it’s amazing!

Haha I appreciate it bro!
Can the monster intake also he used for 1500's 5.7? Also that doesn't void warranty?
Bought both fass and air dog. Air dog was came ready to install with special needs and etc. Fass was off the shelf generic and had no idea about my application.
Their instructions are on point! Easy to follow and in color!
Pedal monster is a must. I installed one on my 07 6.7 and I can't drive the truck without it. Just spend the money!!!! Its my most favorite upgrade I've done to my truck and I've done alot!!
I think he's gonna end up doing it haha. And yea I agree it's a game changer for sure!

The banks intake horn doesn’t void warranty? I know it’s emission compliant but I thought any mods like cold air intake voids warranties.
It doesn't, u can call banks and ask.
Great video; I am Joe, been following your channel from VA with a 2500 , I am thinking of the complete set of bank’s upgrade for the engine. Hopefully I connect with you one day for these upgrades.
My buddy said it was a noticeable difference in throttle response I say go for it!!
I wanna install the banks monster intake elbow but idk if it will void warranty
Best to ask your local dealer or find one that says they wont care and will still honor my dealer tried to void my warranty for the pedal monster and the cold air intake
Should us 3rd gen guys upgrade to the 5th gen fuel rail? Or is there a good aftermarket fuel rail?
U can definitely buy a ported n polished fuel rail for your 3rd gen that will probably be better
Have you guys noticed any increase in performance and fuel economy?
If your extended warranty is with anybody other than mopar they will not honor it with any aftermarket parts on the truck. They voided my brothers for a s&b filter 1 month after buying it.. My mopar never said anything when I took mine in.
You had a gasket on your intake mine never came with one it was a 2017
that's sucks least u fixed it
Good video 👍🏻 that’s a nice looking truck.
Appreciate it man and I agree!!
Very clean looking install
Thank u!
Very nice thanks for the videos
no worries!!

For weight reduction parts www.dirtydieselcustom.ca sells it. CCS tuning is what u wanna run. Use code EDT5 AND save 5%

I agree too!!

it's kind of self explanatory to install the bolt, especially if you follow the instructions haha

I think the pedal monster is a good idea it definitely makes driving the truck more enjoyable!!
Let us know if any codes.
There were no codes
Man I wanna an air dog but don’t know how to install 😂
Just go for it. Air dog has good instructions.
If you can change oil or spark plugs u can definitely install a airdog it's not hard and only basic tools needed!!
I was wondering if the air dog is California legal
Subscribed!
Thank u!
🤤🤤🤤🤤
💯✊🏾
If your friend is doing all those mods he may as well just tune & delete it. I would.
I agree. But when u got a bumper to bumper warranty for 80k more miles it's kinda hard to just throw that away haha I see both sides tho!
Needs a weight loss
I agree haha but he got a warranty until 100k. Only got 20k miles
