I love propagating my plants! Almost too much 😂. In this video, I show you how to propagate pothos and trailing philodendrons. As an example, I am propagating my philodendron micans which actually started out as propagations about a year ago. It has come a long way! Pothos and this philodendron micans follow a similar growth pattern and therefore, you can use this how to video with pothos propagation. There are many different ways to propagate pothos and philodendron. You can water propagate, LECA propagate, or soil propagate. I find that water propagating is usually the easiest and risk free. I forgot to mention it in this video, but soil propagating tends to result in more failed cuttings. Propagating in LECA (passive hydroponics/semi hydroponics) is something that is relatively new in the plant world (or maybe I'm just super late). I will show you the success that I have had propagating in LECA.

I like the leaves on this one! I feel like cutting at the higher point on the vine would have lower survival because it's not mature enough. Even the stem is more vulnerable looking higher up. I like vine plants! ❤
