📲 Our Pick Up Limes app is finally here (1-week free trial!): bit.ly/PUL_app 🎉 Want to propagate your plants with me? I'll be doing an Instagram Live this Monday at 17:30 CET (15:30 UTC) propagating some of my collection - join me 🥰! Bring your pots, plants, a cup of tea, and let's get our hands dirty 🌱🌿
I have always been a person who just can’t keep a plant alive, and during the lockdown I randomly watched this video and just started propagating a few pothos I had around, and then I just bought a few more plants, and then a few more, and now I’m suddenly one of those persons who have lots of plants, and all of them happy and alive!
My mom gave me her Pothos 30 years ago. When I got the plant it was from my great great grandmother's indoor garden in 1890. So that would make my Pothos 122 years old. And I absolutely love this plant
That is absolutely amazing! I wish I had family plants that were passed down in my family. But just out of curiosity, wouldn't 1890 mean the Pothos is 132 years old? Unless she got it in 1900? It is still really impressive how much life it has seen though!
i wonder if you might have a tip? I have a beautiful pothos plant (for years) but this year it's going yellow! I am not sure why - as one of the newer ones I've planted in there (from PuL's wonderful advice of trimming the long ones) is great and dark green. any tips on your healthy pothos?
My mom allowed me to choose my first plant when I was 12. I'm now 66 and have a house full of plants and a yard full of flowers! They and my dogs have been my saving grace during virus limitations! Watch your videos and am ready to don my mask and go plant shopping - only for a couple, I promise! 😁 Thanks for your sweet spirit that comes through in all your videos! 🕉️🕊️☮️

I just propagated a monstera. My parents are divorced so I live two weeks at my moms place and two weeks at my dads, and so it continues. I never liked my room at my dad's place. But my mom let me take some of her plants and propagate her monstera. Now my room feels a lot more like mine! It's really cool how plants can have such a big impact😊🌱 I love them! Thank you for this video! I will continue to propagate more plants now! A little update: My monstera has a long root now! It has grown so much and I'm very proud of it! I think that I will move it to dirt soon. I wish all of you luck with your plants!
Please help! I got my first cutting in water rooted a little, do you add fertiliser when you potted a cutting or keep it in plain soil? If you do so when do you start fertiliser? What soil mix do you use? Thank you 🙏🏻
I can't fit all my fandoms into one name! Same here!! Except it was kinda the same feeling at both houses, honestly my rooms never really felt like my own until I did this too! Mine were all fake plants though, and then during the self isolation currently happening, I decided to grow some flowers and I’m so in love with live plants! I’m replacing all of my fake ones with live. 🥰

Thank you for a sweet and unassuming presentation on plant propagation. My wife passed away nearly two years ago and left me with a beautiful housefull of plants. It's been my mission not only to keep them alive but also have new ones coming along. This video was clear and concise and the presenter as beautiful as her plants. I also noted the lack of tattoos so popular in young women today and she didn't mind getting her hands into the soil.

This makes me existed because recently my mom have gifted me my first baby plants that she propagate and this just makes me excited for the future when I would wish to have many big beautiful plants.
You can tell when Robin is behind the camera; she’s so much more comfortable with just being herself than making a video for a bunch of strangers, and it just ups the authenticity that she always brings. Schooling is on biology AND chemistry. 😊
Learned so much from this, propagating raspberry, mint, trying jalapeño and Artemisia abrotanum currently. its my first year gardening and so far its such fun. The satisfaction at multiplying crops or improving lacklustre plants has been mood lifting, to wake up and see change and improvements everyday is so motivating. I've learned a lot from this video will try these methods on some of my indoor babies thanks.
So a good beginner plant is citronella plant aka mosquito plant. its very easy to take care of and you can easily make new plants by cutting the stem where you think it is a good height, and but it in water until it makes roots and then plant it in soil! i have so many of them and you can give them to a friend or family. (sorry if my english is bad aha)
I've been growing my plant corner for a month, such a amazing experience to see plants grow and even propagated my first pothos. I just did one baby one to see if i can and its thriving. This video gave me so many tips. So glad i found this channel. 🌿
Excellently clear, comprehensive and informative demo! The presenter is so very sweet, warm and enthusiastic in sharing your skills and experiences in propagating these plants. Very enchanting! The background is full of beautifully displayed plants, with the charming lady in there, marvellous! Thank you so much!
Hi, my lovely! The UK here! I just want to tell you how amazing you are at teaching us all about house plants! You are so articulate and precise in your demonstrations, it makes me want to rush to the plant shop and really get into it! Lool I am definitely a NEW plant mum! I have already lost and am losing some of my beautiful babies already! I try to leave them alone, but still get it wrong; I usually check if they need water in a very unusual way; I lift the pot and if it's very light and feels airy, that is my cue to water them and so far I have been right. I water like you; just till I see the water treacle out of the bottom of the plant pot. I heard you mention that the temperature of the water should be a little warmer in the winter and cooler in the Summer, I think that may have played a huge factor in my babies having a premature life span. Thank you for that tip! My Money Penny (taken from James Bond loool You call yours the Pancake) is struggling: some leaves have gone lime green! I think from overwatering, but it seems determined to die! Any tips on saving it? Thank you for reading my rather lengthy comment! Woops!
I became a plant lover after watching your videos. Now, I have 20+ plants because I killed a lot while learning 🥲. I’m glad I found you and influenced to be plant person.
This video makes my heart so happy 🥰 I don’t have a green thumb at all and just started my own urban garden. So the timing of this video is perfect for me👌🏻
dude...you showed how to propgate ALL of the plants that I needed to propagate. amazing. Love this whole video! The first time I saw the way ZZ's grow in those "pods"...I was FASCINATED.
The Pancake plant that you called, is actually money plant according to the chinese, that I learned recently. So last year for Chinese New Year I bought three pots, two for gifts and one for myself. And each pot had so many babies included, so I pulled them out w/ the roots and replanted in its own pots. I am so happy w/ them
Propagating is so fun ! I love to try propagating everything : lemon seeds, mango seeds, avocado seeds, papyrus, etc. Your plants are beautiful ! Goals, really.
Just in time! I was just thinking about how awesome some plants in my room would be, since I'm all alone and it's just white, and I love waking up and seeing some green light in my room:) Thanks!
I’ve actually done this when I trimmed down my petunias I accidentally cute off a bloomed flower and I decided to put it in some water and put is on my window(don’t worry I keep my window closed most of the time except for in the afternoon) and I noticed new blossoms started to bloom. I was kinda shocked honestly thought it would die in like a day or two but they lasted for a week.
A vine managed to push trough my flooring in the house and I have no idea how it happened but one day I looked at the corner and seen a huge beautiful vine 😃
So far the best video I saw on the indoor plants... more than the info. I like the way the host presented it. The interest towards the subject shows up on her beautiful smiling face when she explains. Keep up the good work. I enjoyed watching this video and gonna make my hands dirty...
Natalia Chen That’s my intention! I am a medstud and I get lonely and stuffed as I spend most of my time studying, going in a public place doesn’t help as I need a quiet environment for studying-hehehe. As long as you consult with the landlord about your ideas I think it’s okay!

Her kitchen---omg 😍❤️ she's living one of my dreams ❤️
Earth Angel she is 😍
11:40 "If it's not messy you're not doing it right." Love this woman! Lol
Can I just say... I have all these plants... I've looked at soo many videos on how to do this.. but yours is by far the best. Your ability to instruct others is just fantastic (and you're vegan! yay!). Thanks so much. Please continue to make more household plant videos!
This makes me existed because recently my mom have gifted me my first baby plants that she propagate and this just makes me excited for the future when I would wish to have many big beautiful plants.
"If it's not messy, you're not doing it right." Story of my life right there! :) Super helpful video, thank you!
I have never seen someone explaining things in such an adorable way🥰
So a good beginner plant is citronella plant aka mosquito plant. its very easy to take care of and you can easily make new plants by cutting the stem where you think it is a good height, and but it in water until it makes roots and then plant it in soil! i have so many of them and you can give them to a friend or family. (sorry if my english is bad aha)
What a pleasure to watch a pretty face with such a charming disposition give such a perfect demo, it is thoroughly enjoyable and educative
Love it... next edible kitchen garden? 😁😋🌻🌞

That’s oddly specific
Now this is exactly what I needed!! My house is turning greeeeennnn this quarantine! Thank you Sadia, love you 💜
Hi, my lovely! The UK here! I just want to tell you how amazing you are at teaching us all about house plants! You are so articulate and precise in your demonstrations, it makes me want to rush to the plant shop and really get into it! Lool
I am definitely a NEW plant mum!
Watching her is so relaxing , she looks lovely too
This video makes my heart so happy 🥰
I don’t have a green thumb at all and just started my own urban garden. So the timing of this video is perfect for me👌🏻
Could you show us how you take care of your plants? Each of them is just amazing!
Thibault Pelissier She’s got a video on that already :)
dude...you showed how to propgate ALL of the plants that I needed to propagate.
I was just thinking about how awesome some plants in my room would be, since I'm all alone and it's just white, and I love waking up and seeing some green light in my room:)
Thanks!
So peaceful watching this
I’ve actually done this when I trimmed down my petunias I accidentally cute off a bloomed flower and I decided to put it in some water and put is on my window(don’t worry I keep my window closed most of the time except for in the afternoon) and I noticed new blossoms started to bloom. I was kinda shocked honestly thought it would die in like a day or two but they lasted for a week.
I really love how you repeat yourself and the steps it really helps me understand exactly what to cut. I love it thank you so much.
Sadia you could open a mini
nursery with all these newly
potted plants 😀😀😀😀😀
Haha that's the plan 😏
@@PickUpLimes Great idea, thought
there was idea behind all this.
Wish you all the best with it
Sadia. Love from Zurich.
Aaaaah I just want to start planting again, thus doing my research when it’s 1am in Indonesia and you just makes it easier 💛
Me too.... Do u think it's possible to plant in homestay aka "kamar kos" ?😆
Natalia Chen That’s my intention! I am a medstud and I get lonely and stuffed as I spend most of my time studying, going in a public place doesn’t help as I need a quiet environment for studying-hehehe. As long as you consult with the landlord about your ideas I think it’s okay!
Beautiful plant collection! Propagating is such a great way to muliply
plants for free and even be able to gift them. Tried propagating once
without luck so far. Let's see if that will change!
Wao ,u r beautiful than the plants
Wao,so beautiful face
I am so happy to run across your videos and guidelines how to take care of your plants I am a new plant parent and I started in 2020 I didn't have anything else to do because I lost my mother at the beginning I had a few plants but not as many if I have now and it takes a lot of care and understanding how to take care of them so I am a fan and I'll be listening and tuning in thank you so much for your tips
Thank you! That was simple, beautiful, and informative. It is inspiring to see how you can fill a space with common houseplants and really create an atmosphere.
Wow, I absolutely love the whole aesthetic of this video.
can't wait to pick up more plants when this whole nightmare is over
Satisfy the urge with the herbs you can get from produce sections lol garden center was blocked off so I added rosemary to the family lol
