Sounds like you have a very busy year ahead Kevin :). Can you keep us updated on the Brandi... I have had one for probably 5 years now and I have thought I have to let this one go because she is a slow grower. I chopped her down because all she was giving was small leaves, now seems to be doing a bit better, but not amazing lol. I thought it was humidity she needed, but do you think it light? I just don't know what to do with it lol.

3 books in a year is a lot if you never read! In my listening to books on libby or an e-reader count as reading and then you can clean or do plant tasks as you're listening to the books! 2 birds- one stone 😅📚

Yes please, come to Chicago! There's so many marathons in the city. Maybeeee plan to come to the big one (Bank of America) in October, if you can get in they also do half . Otherwise, there's also the Hot Chocolate run you may love lol. Also, where the heck are you storing that rowing machine?!

Sooo my hoyas are being bad babies.. but my pink princess has decided to actually stay alive 😨so maybe I will put her on a moss pole... but then she may just join the hoyas and be a pain in the butt 😅

serious twin mind energy in this one. redirect plant focus and energy, pollinate anthurium, trim down plants that are no longer bringing as much joy, travel, and read. as a follower, I second the decision to just put out vids based on what brings you joy and things you’re interested in. Would love to see a travel vlog mixed in, maybe a book review on occasion. Love these goals.

I barely have any Aroids anymore, Hoyas are....just special.. when I get a bloom, my heart opens! Just do what what ever makes you happy. I love your IDEA head. Gosh, how many great ways of organizing a pot with the "Kevin Cake supports " are genius!!! I am autistic and can't read books. I read tons, just not for very long and not a story. . When I decided to be tidier I ended up repeating to myself a hundred times a day "Don't put it down, put it away." It takes 5 more seconds to hang that shirt back up instead of just tossing it on the bed. Don't leave a glass on the counter, put it in the cupboard. It's really helped me and now I only have to remind myself a couple times a week, and my home is much tidier.

when you said movies, i went "same!". when i find a good movie, i love it but its been hard to find them and than sit down for 2hrs. dont be afarid to just... watch older ones you havent seen yet. i went and asked all my friends what their favorite movies are and made a list. it was so fun to talk to them about their favorites and see how excited they were. i'm also trying to read more (audio)books (at least one a month. audio books are easier cuz you can multitask. i listen to them at work/while doing chores) and play more video games :) good luck. we got this ❤

What do you do when you have too roots in the reservoir. No rot. Plant drinking 3 gallons of water a week. Plant is not root bound. But have a pot full of roots in the reservoir. I’m June in my Junegle 🪴

you helped me understand polyneura hoyas so much. I ordered my first one today and have never liked hoyas before but I saw the albo with outer variegation and fell in love with the colouring, growth habit and pointed leaf shape ❤❤❤

What temperature do you have in your flat/plant room? My plants are doing so bad at the moment and U think it’s the temperature but don’t know for sure 😭☠️😭 Your plants are thriving so bad even though you say your flat is cold…HOW?! I got 16-19°C (61-66°F) in my plant room. PLEASE HELP 😂🥲

I'm sure you figured this out by now, the Obliqua is trying to find something to climb, that's what the runner is looking for. Chop the node off the runner is coming from and put it on a moss pole.
