Thank you for giving updates every few weeks. It's really enlightening for those of us who are learning. I took your ideas and set some cuttings of micans in plain water and in pon with water coming up to 3/4 of the container. Once I see roots in the latter set up, I will start adding less and less water each time until I'm only using the reservoir. Wish me luck with my experiment!
Great video update! I'm SO over soil mixes and all the gnats and molds that come in with it, not to mention the mess I'm so good at making when potting things!! Now learning all I can about propagating/growing in leca.
Love that you give all the beautiful updates..you're a plant God in your own field...I learn so much from you n even git them plastic clip on moss pole from amazon bc I saw you assembly and use them n they're soooo simple to use..thank u very much..
Hello! Thank you i am just beginning hydroponics and was really wondering how successful vining plants like micans would fair. Really excited to see how my new propagations go!
Nice video. Micans are great. I think cutting just above the node helps the new growth develop faster. It’s something I learned about pruning outdoor plants. I may test this out between two groups of cuttings.
Super new subscriber here! I love your videos! I can tell the amount of work you put on your content. The updates are really helpful. Thank you so much!
Awesome video! Encouraging to see the Micans can thrive in hydrophonics. Could you advise if the grow faster in LECA than if grown in water only? I took leave cuttings and put in water. They rooted but for months, no new shoots yet. Will they do better if i grow them in LECA?
Great video! Did you propagate in water until you rooted them, then transfer to leca in your video? Or did you take the cuttings and directly propagate in leca (unrooted cuttings)?
@@kevin. So proud of you kevin! Im Filipino too! The first time ive discovered your channel, i just know that you are ...God bless you and your channel...😉
Hey not sure if you did a nutrients video yet and how annoying this request may be but if you could would love to see! Also, did your adansonii have thrips while in leca or do you think that infestation happened while in soil
Hey! I haven't yet. I'm currently working on it but it might be a couple weeks 😬. It definitely got it while it was in LECA. Thrips is the one pest that I still get with LECA. I'm thinking they lay their eggs in the plant tissue 😅
Oh my god fly to bc and help my 68 plants in my Art From Ashes tattoo studio in prince Rupert and I’ll pay you in tattoo time to just spend two days with my plants! 😩😭 I found root rot on my monstera so I cut up her nodes and plopped them all in water right away I hope she survives I love her so much I’m a tad crushed.
I really love it that you show the development of your cuttings over the months. It's really helpful. Pls keep doing it like that! ☺

Hey fellow Canadian plant UA-camr, hey! 😀 I’ve had so much success with my mican in LECA. Love it.

Just found your channel, I’m absolutely obsessed ✨
Aw thanks Joshua! 💚
I just bought a 5 gallon bag of leca off Amazon I hope that works.
Your propagation video was pretty helpful thank you
I read high humidity yields larger leaves. The one in the bin is in high humidity and has the best looking foliage I think

Thanks 🥰 That's interesting! Let me know how it goes if you end up doing it.
Can you make a video on how you deal with thrips with other insects? That's so interesting to me and I'm so sick of neem.

@@kevin. ugh no lol I have not converted yet but, it's good to expect that horror! Also, excited for the video!
Yeah it sucks because I personally think thrips is the worst pest haha and it's the only one I get now 😂 hopefully I get the video out on time 😬
Beautiful
