I feel the same way you do, everything you said about the Gen 5 is exactly how I feel, and I’m a Gen 3 fan boy as well.
Good shooting Bud! The Gen 5 19 was my first Glock and I really like it. I'm a big CZ fan too and have several but I'll be damned if I don't shoot this Glock better. The change on the trigger spring from the hooks/tension configuration, to the compression spring, will likely improve the long term durability of the design. It's like a valve spring on an automotive cylinder head and should go for thousands of cycles before it's a problem. I've never heard of a concern with the old version but this is a better design from a mechanical stand point. I like the longer pull and the rolling break of the Glock trigger and it is quickly becoming my favorite 9mm. Good video brother.

Great honest review ...good shooting bud. I love all my gen 5 Glocks , but the 19 just seems like the perfect all around gun for me. Fun at the range , yet still small enough to EDC.

I live in California so I’m stuck with Gen 3’s. The finger groves don’t fit me either. The first thing I do is get my dremel and remove them and put talon grips on them. Now, they fit my hand so much better. And yes, I’m a Glock fanboy. My favorite pistol.
I must be the only dude whos hand fits the Glock finger grooves. I think the guy whos hands they molded them grooves after must have had some super long creepy hands like mine, I am 6'6 and also from crazy Cali.

Bear creek arsenal has glock barrels for like $82 right now. If you want an extra or a threaded barrel. I'm happy your getting some money, I love this channel.
if you're use to shooting the gen 3 and you think it fits your hand better, maybe try the medium backstrap. That would give you the same thickness grip as the gen 3 and may be more of a contributing factor to the gun pointing high then the absence of finger grooves.

Watching other peoples stuff gives me different ideas on content. I try not to do the same thing other channels are doing and appreciate that you come up with new ideas. Keep them coming!!!
I own all 3,4,& 5 Glocks but I always seem to shoot my old faithful Gen 3 17 and the new G 48 MOS better than the rest save my old Glock 30 Gen 4 that I just can't miss with and the only drawback is ammo cost of 45 ACP .
Presenting the gun high or low can be worked out with dry fire practice. I carry a p365 in the summer and a Glock 48 in the winter. It’s the grip angle. I have to work on it to get used to presentation if I switch between those 2. I will say by now the glock feels way more natural to me.
That's some nice new steel you got there. I just recently bought one of those Rubber Dummies, and those are some serious fun to shoot! Plus all you need to do is hit em' up with some spray paint and it's just like it was when you bought it Before you know it, you'll be at 5k 😁👍🏽

I corrected aiming high by using my thumbs to point at target as a master repeatable grip . I've had plastic sights for decades and love the sight picture myself because I hate 3 dots. Really like to try a XS Dot I sight . Only difference in barrel is FBI grooves put in for forensics cause previous Glocks hard to match rifling . I prefer Generation 3 although I own 3,4,& 5 Glocks.
My ONLY issue with the Gen 3 is the LACK of grip texture on the sides of the grip. But it is nice for conceal carry. I refuse to stipple, 99% of stipple jobs look terrible. Hogue grips feel good, but make it too thick. So Talon grip enhancers are the solution, I like the rough granular that rips you during conceal carry.
I got a g43x! With 6 sheilds s15 magazine's. My first glock! Thinking on buying a g17 gen 5, Because my 43x is pretty much is a g19 but better to carry everyday, which I do along with the sig sauer p365.
The 43X is definitely not the Glock 19 but the 43x having the same capacity is definitely a bonus. I have the Glock 45 and 43X. This is after selling the 19 and 26
I've had Gen 2 through 5 Gen 2 is probably my favorite by far, I like the gym 4 and 5s more than I do to three because of the grips a little thicker on the three and I don't have the largest hands, and also like the classic Square Glock Style slide I don't really like how they taper the Gen 5 slide and I don't care for the front finger serrations
@@darylragland1502 I don't agree the finish on my glock 23 gen 5 looks way better than my gen 3 glock 20. Both look brand new. Just a better looking gun. Not that any of them look bad to me it just looks better. We all have our opinions and that fine.
I love the finger grooves on the Glocks. I don’t see myself getting a Gen. 5 just because the finger groove removal seems to be 95% of the change. The Grooves couldn’t fit my hand any better if I had them custom made. I know that isn’t the case for everyone but my gen 3’s and gen 4’s will last forever and the gen 5 just isn’t worth changing.
I've been a little torn on whether to get that same pistol in a 9 mm or 40cal. Do you think you could tell a big difference getting your second shot on target with the 40 caliber ?
Probably not much in this size of handgun. I’ve never had a g23, but I have had the g27 and the g26 and I can personally say, if you shoot enough to be good, you can’t tell much difference. If you don’t shoot, the 40 is gonna be more to tolerate.
you could always get the 40 cal and then get a 9mm conversion barrel for it. thats what i did with my g23 and its now one of my favorite handguns. Went with threaded for the 9mm barrel as well.
a 19 Gen 5 is my first and only Clock so far. Still prefer my CZs for shooting at the range and my shield for carry, but the 19 is growing on me. Congrats on getting monetized, hope it stays that way.

I love that glock puts the plastic shitty sights becouse thats how they cut corners and bring the price down plus i would rather pick out my owen . Its so funny that people go change the barrel to some aftermarket so glock made a better barrel than people ar3 like come on lol .
I ordered my Gen5 19 and 23 with Ameriglo metal night sights. The only thing bad about the updated Glock “5.5” is if you have those stupid plastic sights. Otherwise, the 5.5’s are great carry guns.
I have seen a video of someone who compered the accuracy auf the gen 5 to a gen 3 or 4 from a sandbag at 25 yards. Yes the groups were tighter. I think it was mrgunsngear.

Got a glock 48, must say I like shooting the 19 better but for concealed carry the 48's thinness makes it much more comfy in the belt

I have gen 3,4 &5. I like them all and there isn't alot of different between them but I personally think the 5 is the best of the bunch.
I’m not sure how I feel about the ambi slide stop still. I’m more of a “make it reversible” man than having them both on at the same time.
No freakin way. The 4 is discontinued and the finish on the 5 sucks. 3 rules. 21 yrs old and still looks good

Had sub, compact and full in Gen 3, 4 and now 5. Much prefer the 5. But it's all personal preference. No wrong preferences.
I always seem to come back to my Glock G 19 Gen 5. Just shoot it better and have a huge comfort level with it.

Remove the 6.1mm rear sight and replace it with a 6.5 mm, your point of aim WILL be the point of impact. You will no longer be shooting low.
I left the gen 3 just cause im older and the newer gens don't hurt my hand as bad..
