"LABOUYI BANNANN" Easy and very tasty recipe (Plantain porridge)

- Measurements:
1 plantain (big/ medium)
1 carrot (optional)
1 banana (optional)
3 small pieces of ginger
4 star anise
1/2 tea spoon of nutmeg
1 tea spoon of essence almond flavor
1/2 tea spoon of salt
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of milk (evaporated milk)
3 and 1/2 cup of water
1 cube of laughing cow cheese (I used mine for the bread but you can also add it to porridge if preferred)
Cooking time:
After adding the spices to the water, let it boil for 3 -5 minutes.
Add the blended mix then let it boil for 7-10 minutes or until the mix looks nice and well cooked.
Add sugar, milk, essence. Let it simmer on low for another 7-10 minutes or until it reaches your preferred consistency.
