I always come to your channel for confirmation whenever I’m searching for Haitian recipes. This is how I remember labouyi banan from my childhood. Thank you for keeping it authentic!
I made this using your recipe as my sibling's child's Haitian relatives said this was their favorite when they were a baby. I made it; they weren't big on it but it still brought back nice memories for them.
I love your cooking! I follow your recipes to the T 😂 and I am never disappointed and I literally just finish following your Haitian plantain porridge recipe and it came out perfect 🎉
I'm American my husband Haitian I made it for him,and family they where in shock because I was shy cooking haitian foods things and I learn from u the rice with Lima bean and conch maybe a little off with things but they love it thank u
The wonderful lady I work for is Haitian and shes been teaching me some cooking. I tried this a few days ago and loved it so I bought all these ingredients and you video showed me how to make it because a bit of a language barrier, my question is.... is this healthy to eat. I see the milk and coconut milk is very high in calories, but I can eat this 2 times a day.
i have a question for you Annette dor if you don't have coconut milk can you just use regular milk or carnation milk cause i really want to try this recipe i'm going to try to cook this recipe with my cousin soon and i will tell you if it was delicious keep up the good work Annette love uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
NATALIE JENKINS ... I am sorry, I don’ use measurement cups.. I believe 1/2cup should do.. remember your adding evaporated milk and coconut milk, so you do not need much water, you don’t want it to be liquidy
Annette Dor Thank you for responding! As soon as I posted that I immediately thought to myself "girl what are you doin, we Haitians don't measure anything!" Sorry I should have known better🤣🤣👍🏽

Hello 👋🏽 Annette, Question: Can burro bananas be used for labouyi bannann?
Yes, absolutely but the taste will be different from the green plantain labouyi.

Will it be ok if I peel the green plantion before I blend it?
Remarkable ...you can but all the nourishment is in the skin
