The one thing I noticed is that Peter is better at utilizing the tools properly. C4D has almost identical tools and modifiers but it’s how you use them that makes the difference
I think Peter is more practiced with stuff like this. When I watched the ghibli stream I didn't feel like Clint had any issues utilising the tools but could just be me
I love this video because it illustrates how similar and how different 3D modeling software is. But mostly how similar, just having different names and hotkeys.
I wish streamers would do this for Autodesk Inventor, it's a great way to learn from the pros as well as a great opportunity for content creators to interact with their audience.
Loves this, hope to see you do this more with your awesome community. Not many channels could get THAT many really good participants during this and so many cool styles.
Out of topic question. Are you "wearing-shoes-in-home" guy, or "no-wearing-shoes-in-home" guy? The answer to the question is irrelevant to how I view you as a person tho, coz no matter which one you are, you're still the best, Clint! Love you!
Peter just blows me away, I really love that he put the keystroke screencast up, thank you for that bro. His modeling thought process is legendary and I am learning so much from him! I really hope Clint does this again I fucking love this challenge!!! Clint seemed aware that Peter was better at this than he is, and Clint mentioned that he never usually does stuff like this. But Clint made those awesome renders I saw, so that confuses me - how can Clint not have experience with modeling if he can create such amazing work? Is Clint's superpower combining assests better? Because Clint is undeniably an amazing artist. I'm still new to all this, and maybe I will learn more the more I delve into Clint's channel, but I am very surprised a 3d artist can make it without modeling their own assets. Is 3d art really just about combining other people's assets? So intersting, but also very encouraging, because that is what I want to do - I don't want to have to make every little thing in a scene, I want to make an overall vision possible, and to do that I need to have things created already to save time. About Peter's Keystrokes - why does it seem like sometimes the model is moving but he isn't holding the mouse button? Can you just press a button on the keyboard and then move the mouse and it moves the model?
Might be a big ask and not sure if you'll see this, but would be super helpful for beginners using either C4D / Blender if you guys had your keyboard presses shown on the screen as you modeled! So many great shortcuts to really improve the workflow Loved the stream! Keep it up :)
regardless of 3d softwares used, this is between pro modeller(peter) vs pro vfx(clint), which is different department in 3D, so it's obvious who gonna fare better ;)
love your works clint good job, I have watched your videos from long ago, but i recently knew that you are not that good at modeling i hope you will get much better, after all your works area amazing
clint's vintage camera ha more potential but peter slams those nice materials down so fast it's hard to choose an empty colour model over Peter's full colour versions.
Hey Clint love your work! Thought it might be a good idea to grey out the live symbol on the top of the video when you are posting to youtube, just a thought, use it, don't use it.
It would be helpful if they'd always list the software for each render or scene etc. Not sure if that's possible since a few probably contain several combined etc

C4D is really confusing :/ i used for 8 months everyday and I changed it happily for blender.
@@rodolfoxavierneto6667 C4D is most userfriendly amongst traditional 3D soft, imho.
@@Avelium For starters, youtubers say
C4D is much better than Blender at effect/animation. But not for modelling.
Peter is an absolute chad for doing this with you man it was a lit ass stream
It's promo. Of course he'll do it.
@@FictionCautious Not to mention they're very good friends.

Peter is absolutely legendary 😂
Please do this speed modeling challenges again.
It was great !
love seeing how you guys use different programs to achieve the same end goal!
Thank you to you boys motivating me to continue learning blender. I needed this!
Next time I hope to catch you live.
I really want to c the full version of Peter's little Pixar movie attempt
Peter looks like the next gen Ian Hubert. Jokes apart ,this is awesome .
hell is watching/listening to this on loop for eternity
I wish streamers would do this for Autodesk Inventor, it's a great way to learn from the pros as well as a great opportunity for content creators to interact with their audience.
This was absolutely amazing! Really looking forward to the next stream!
This is so awesome......
Got to see my 3d modelling guru's live.
Please ask blender guru to do this with you! It’s so great!
Loves this, hope to see you do this more with your awesome community. Not many channels could get THAT many really good participants during this and so many cool styles.
This is SUCH a great idea! Nice job everyone!
Watching this late but it’s so good. Keen to see more of these. 😁 Great to see different approaches to the same problem.
Do this with Erindale using nodes if you can!
Peter is a legend...Clint has so much to learn
I just learnt how to make the BlenderGuru donut and was overjoyed when I saw it in the video. Definitely a good learning oportunity overall
21:27 Waiting for the museum!
This is such a great idea and really fascinating to watch. Thanks guys!
Ive had so much fun with Medium ever since the touch controllers came out. Great to see you guys giving some light on these methods.
This was the most fun I've had in blender for a while :D
i wouldn't mind seeing more of this. it a fun activity to do
Thanks guys, you have both helped us so much in our 3D modeling FUNctions
Clint looks at a axolotl "Is that a Pokémon?"
I'm personally offended
The whole Pokemon series have less biodiversity than the smallest mexican ecosystem XD
yeah but technically.. *technically* .. like, all im saying is.. It IS a pokemon if we go by looks alone
@@Skyflairl2p Yeah! Wooper
PLZ do another contest, I love watching everyones art! Amazing channel, glad I found it, sad it took me so long!
I really enjoy this challenge, can't wait for next challenge
I don't know why but every time I wake up(I sleep with UA-cam on) I always end up at your vids which is kinda funny(not complaining).
Peter outing that wireframe on the tower was such a wild thing where it just worked immediately
2:55:58 Andrew indeed was in the chat for the donut
Looked really fun! Glad that so many tried as well.
I don't even do this stuff but I'm watching and it's great
this is a super cool serie, i'd love to see more of it

Clint, my man I don't do cgi but I watch yall
I love the backgrounds💖
Awesome idea, more pls :)
Stand Cat community subs had my Rottie growling and barking at the tv. Lol
What Peter did for donut icing was actually way less annoying than doing it according to the actual tutorial or waiting for liquid sim
This is amazing! :D
I missed this! do this again!!
I wake up and here i am.
real shi i have never watched a 3d modeling video

Clint, you need to this format more often. Get Wren and others involved! :P
The plan is to do it once a month roughly, moving forward
I like this 3D challenge.
I really want an autograph from Peter and clint
Peter is amazing
More of this! 😃
It took me 8 hours to make a disc and a fuse bomb....
I want to join this looks like fun!
"How is this not a pokemon, its basically a pokemon"
WOOPER BRO, IT IS A POKEMON.
Peter's Moustache, I predict will become sentient, by 2024.
Peter got that donut under 2 min because he did it dozens of times like us...
Thought it was Trap Lore Ross at first, in the right cam. hehe
I would love to participate if you decide to do this again! Can we use addons (like HardOps for Blender) or do we have to use vanilla software?
Such an amazing stream, loads of fun. Keep such streams coming. Next time animation contest?
No name on the softbody dance? You didn’t check the submission channel? It was mine anyway 🙂
Seriously I've never 3d modeled anything why is this so entertaining

I regret putting this on to sleep now all I wanna do is model the eiffel tower
tangerine dreams vibes at the beginning there.
Peter is so fast the screen can't catch up with him 🙏
once peter added scaley textyres i was like...noooooo
Hello I’m a new subscriber, i would like to know what software do you use for the modeling. Also great stuff man
Peter used Blender, which is free, and Clint used Cinema 4D, which is paid
@@notabot4281 thanks for the info I’ve been waiting for an answer.

@@FenomeSean usually everyone used C4D and Octane Renderer, Peter is the only one who doesnt
You won the lottery essentially lol.
