I can't tell you enough how much I love watching these things. Why is this so fun to watch for us CG nerds? Forget Netflix, I got Speed Texturing with Peter and Clint! You guys are so cool.
I'm gonna have to watch this later, but I just want to let you know this video stars my two favorite people from Corridor. Miss seeing you guys in the crew videos.
I noticed Clints frozen bubble had a glass like transmission shader on it, would probably be improved with a more translucent shader look without the refractions
this should be interesting. I've recently discovered Bobby Chiu's drawing videos that are(I believe, haven't gotten to the actual meat of this stream yet) set up like this so can't wait.
Ever heard of Jama Jurabaev's Quick Texture plugin? That my friend, is by far the fastest way of texturing anything on blender without touching a single node.
the moss would have looked good if they had added in some brown/dark tones, you don't normally see moss just being all green, its usually on some wood or something, i'm gonna mess with that in a sec here :)
You guys need some Substance Designer in your lives. :) Very cool and playful challenges ! Really rewarding to see how each artist achieve the results.
I have that program, and have done little designs with it, but cannot figure out how to make complete materials with Substance designer. I’ve looked at tutorials and know the basics. I am by far more skilled in blender but would love to be more proficient in Designer. Are you an SD user. Any tips?
Sorry boys, but the corn has been done wrong in C4D - spline/path deformer is the solution for, so straight and use the deformer for, no modeling... there is another topic, in reality, it ends in the mid by a triangle, so have to do the same. My solution - Helix with two different radiuses, Extrude, compare subdiv, bridge, do UV, fix the tip, fix UV, mirror, mirror UV, bend by the bend or spline
95 percent of corridor employees aren’t shown on camera. And peter prolly has some busy project for corridor going on so he cant spend time acting in corridor crew videos
Someone plz help,I am using realflow in c4d and when i fill cone object it doesn't fill the small conical bottom of the cone object. What is the problem?
I don't know about anyone else, but it really gets to me that I have to endure a 3 hour runtime of nonsense for 40 minutes of actual content just because Clint would rather (lazily) throw on a livestream instead of hiring an Editor (like me) to condense this things into something far more practical. It's selfish to expect people to devote so much time to these streams for what they get out of it, and honestly I don't think the channel would have the same following if Clint wasn't Corridor alum

For real. I second this whole heartedly. So much fun to ride with y'all
Seeing Peter use blender blows me away with how versatile it is.
Clint needs to get CGMatter vs IanHubert in here for Blender Node speed competition!
Also rap battle, do not forget
Also Erindale will be a good competitor
I want this
They should do CGMatter vs Default Cube
frfr
Peter, if you enable node wrangler, you can simply control + shift + click on a node. It connects it to the output.
This would've saved him so much time.
1:10:17 "This one looks like a puffy crunchy snack of some sort."
You mean like a croissant, Clint?
Wow! Its so nice to see blender on pwnisher
This is really cool! I wish I could texture in Blender as well as Peter! You guys are awesome. Loved this stream and the modeling one as well!
BRO!! The moment Peter put the texture into the roughness for the Soap Bubble challenge, I was like WHOA. That looks good.
29:06 You can right click on the node and select "solo view" to visualize only this node on the render view too
Dude ur doing so good on ur own. Love these live streams. I'm still sad u left corridor, but this is a nice change.
Hangover renders are always good
i loved this livestream!
Hey i'm glad you enjoyed! I love these kind of streams personally. Such a good time.
Me: Hell yeah a 5 min tutorial
Also Me: Hell yeah a 3 hour livestream
Peter France's ice bubble wins.
Well done Peter.
I can’t be more impressed about a performance of a free software vs multi thousand dollars app
Man I put this on to fall asleep to, but the absolute drama of the croissant had me alert. I could watch a whole show like this!
Bwahahahah!!
ngl I was chuckling at peter trying to uv unwrap the croissant, I think all 3d artists can relate to that struggle
If he ha UV unwrapped before applying Subsurf modifier then it would be way easy.
Ahh i really hope you do another one of these. Id love to take part and submit 🤘
I just love these streams there so chill

His "90MAC Life Drawing Class" videos.

Thank you for this! 🙌🏽❤️
2 very different approacheees mmmmmm ilike
your added benefit over Bobby's videos, I mentioned above, is you guys show what others did from your discord = Nice.
Clint should really try blender once will be fun to watch him...
I think current scheme with Peter in Blender and Clint in C4D+Octane is perfect.
@@dm1i Agreed. I like seeing two different environments and work flows :)
''A place is not a story''
But it can be a character.
love to see a 3 way stream with wren and you two, make it happen bromies

Yeah lol. I remember the pwnisher app!
Me waiting for the day Peter France releases more music •_•
Watching this live. Why not,
Love this!!
Is Peter still working at Corridor?
Voronoi - one texture to rule them all!
1:58:09 the unappreciated highlight ;D
I wonder how many people use C4D over Blender? You should do an instagram poll!
Speed texturing in 5 mins, but before that 3 hour live
open source VS paid software
It doesn't matter what else you've got going on in your day... 'call mom' should always be first. :D
These streams are so awesome - The super fast scrolling on the prompt made me feel sick though
anyone noticed peter's to do list ?

When 3d programs crashes:
Blender user's: hold my autosave
Other 3d programs users: don't even move boy!
Can I do the same steps making the shaders in Arnold for c4d ?
Yeah definitely, it's pretty darn similar.
How did you do it in arnold tell me
has peter left corridor? Have not seen him since his vacation...
95 percent of corridor employees aren’t shown on camera. And peter prolly has some busy project for corridor going on so he cant spend time acting in corridor crew videos
Yes, he left for personal projects. I think they made a video about it
@@dyfx9788 the other comment
peter we miss you
When I started watching they were playing smash
This is what i ve been imagine.
That's cool, when next will be?
is Peter not with the Corridor anymore?
LETS GOOOO
Peter kept cutting out, I feel like your noise gate caused more trouble then benefit lately...
Especially when he explains stuff and you don't talk, sometimes his mouth moves and you can hear how the noise gate fades him out
What according to you is the best place to consume 3d content?
🔥🔥🔥👍🏻
please bring Ian Hubert for speed texturing
20:40 ohh yeah principled bdsm
Speed texturing in 5 minutes. - length of clip : 5 minutes short of 3 hours lol.
Wait what is Clint good at then?
Makes sense that Peter is stinky, he’s got France in the name.
good morning people. how was your sleep
Dude cinema 4D crashes so much for being a proprietary software
is there gonna be cardboard warfare 3?
Someone plz help,I am using realflow in c4d and when i fill cone object it doesn't fill the small conical bottom of the cone object. What is the problem?
Wait, what? Peter got fired from Corridor?
Is this for real?
No, he left for personal projects, but he's still part time there, just not full time
@@sotomonte_ Really? Did Peter say so?
@@belowaverageasian7197 He said it in the stream
@@sotomonte_ timestamp?
Where the node wrangler add on for blender
N nvm, I see he used it. He's just not using the function where he can view just his material. Instead he's plugging it into the surface.
Speed texturing in 5 minutes
Video:1hr long
Hmmmm
45 seconds of ads?!
FOR ONCE my youtube autoplayed into someone other than spiffing brit. I'd much rather give my premium watchtime to you two o/
"speed texturing in 5 minutes"... three hour video.
I believe it's called a pipe wrench?
pog
Ayeee Clinton teaches yoga! I love it! I’m a yoga studio owner in Portland OR. If you are ever in the northwest stop by!!!
Are they both working in Octane?
Peter is working in cycles
Thumbnail says 5 minute speed texture... video is nearly 3 hours long lol
c4d dont show well texture in the viewport or what ?
Watched with this on in the background...ua-cam.com/video/oGWf8tQO__4/v-deo.html Great chilled out viewing experience!
