Dude really got the de-age treatment from Marvel😂
It took DAYS to render!
His face is GLISTENING
Move over Michael Douglas
@Joshua White I think fifty is a bit of a stretch
@@SeanChandlerTalksAbout hey sean I have one unpopular opinion that I'm not sure you'll like...I don't think Ghostbusters is that great. Now I did like it as a kid, but as I've gotten older I just don't really see what's so special about it 😂
"I have cried three times in my life: once when I was seven and I was hit by a school bus, again when I heard that Li'l Sebastian had passed... and then again when I found out that Sean Chandler doesn't care about Lord of the Rings."
- Ron Swanson
Scrummy64 Ron Swanson is the best
No you cried three times
If you didn't cry when you were born than you would've been dead.
Half mast is too high. Show some damn respect!
Jack Grant yes I am
@@Whateveridksomething it's a joke
Hot take: Doctor Strange is the most underrated movie in the MCU and Aquaman is a good movie
Lukas Lambraia I’ve always thought Doctor Strange is far too low on most people’s rankings. It’s in my top ten for sure can’t wait for the next one!!
A lot of people like Aquaman.
I loved both movies... didn't know people didn't like those movie honestly
Aquaman is not good
I think they're fine but not amazing
Hot Take: While I understand that IT: Chapter 2 has NUMEROUS flaws, I still freaking love that movie
imo underrated
THANK U
It was a lot of fun!
@@Kaizoku-o_PirateKing for me it was too long
I think it’s a great movie, but the way IT died is the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen
Last time I was this early, Sean was 15 years older
Lol
That was yesterday lmao
Me too.
My favorite thing about Sean is that no matter what his opinion in about any movie, he understands and respects why others may think differently
Unpopular opinion: I can find something to like in every single star wars movie.
Every single 1 except for the last jedi has something to enjoy
@@idiot3412 idk what your talking about. We can all say Luke's character sucks but the final scene when he sacrifices himself is pretty cool. Also throne room fight isn't half bad.
@@idiot3412 Green milk thou
All of them except attack of the clones. That movie fucking sucked ass
@@idiot3412 The Last Jedi is masterclass writing.
No I'm not trolling and no this is not bait.
unpopular opinion: Tron: Legacy is a fantastic movie with an all time soundtrack/score from daft punk
Couldn’t agree more. One of the most slept on movies and I want to see what Sean thinks of it
I loved tron legacy
I think the plot is nothing special, but the vibe and the music are absolutely phenomenal. Wouldn’t mind another sequel
yessss it’s so good
The soundtrack is pretty much universally adored, isn’t it? I don’t know anyone who dislikes it
Unpopular opinion: Ghost from ant man and the wasp is an underrated villain
I think ghost is slowly rising to popularity.
Ant Man and the Wasp is probably a top 3 favorite MCU movie for me. I can't think of a single non-petty criticism of it, it's so wonderful.
When I looked at reviews of it after watching the movie, I was so confused. Like people hated on marvel for standard, bland villains. Ant Man and the Wasp gives you Ghost, about as non-standard as you can get. Instead of criticizing something new Marvel did with her, critics said that she wasn't a true villain. Make up your mind... (sigh)
C. Bishop I disagree with u, but I didn’t think it was a bad movie by no means
She is pretty good
Agreed
For the people that grew up in the 2000s I am sure everyone loves the Incredibles
It’s my second favorite animated movie of all time. Just under the Iron Giant
The incredibles is pretty awesome
It’s in my top five movies of all time
I was in middle school around when it came out (born ‘92). Post Disney Renaissance was when I disconnected from Disney Animation but still really enjoyed Pixar.
Incredibles was one of the first good superhero movies in a while until the Dark Knight Trilogy came around.
Only we can really fathom how powerful that movie was to us when we were younger
Revenge of the sith is my favourite Star wars movie
Fax
That opinion has really come around in the last few years, becuae I remember 10 years ago if u said revenge was your favorite people would look at you sideways because of Empire strikes back
@@lineytheg5943 we've came to love it cause the sequels are so bad
@@lineytheg5943 I’ve always loved revenge of the sith always will I remembered when I was younger I saw in in the cinemas
It's the most fun to watch for me
Unpopular Opinion: Pirates of The Caribbean 2 and 3 are underrated.
Underrated? They brilliant!
@@Fitchy-ke3wz well yeah I agree they are brilliant but underrated because they don’t get enough praise.
Pirates of the Caribbean 3 is the best one imo
@@05ISMAD I think one is the best but 3 is my favorite
2 yes
3 no
Another ranking you should do is ranking the top 10 movies on IMDb
This will happen at some point.
@@SeanChandlerTalksAbout the top one is Shawshank Redemption, which has 0.2 less than Dog Of Wisdom lol
Alonso Guzman personally, i prefer 12 Angry Men, but Shawshank is the only one I have left, so I'll be sure to check it out :)
Sean Chandler Talks About I think you should rerank the whole top 20, not just the top 10.
That would be cool
Unpopular opinion: I think that solo is a pretty good and fun little movie
YEEESSS! Finally someone says this! It’s certainly not the best Star Wars movie but it’s a fun movie that I really enjoyed
Cosmonaut Variety Hour is that you?
Goat 719 the movie has no real big issues, it’s just not phenomenal on the whole
thats not unpopular
well the thing is I'd agree with that mostly. It's fine, good and fun in some places but I just find it monotone and dull kinda the whole way through and though it doesn't have quite the same lows majority of star wars films have, it also doesn't have the epic highs or really as much substance in it to digest and think about. So it kinda still unfortunately falls last on my personal, subjective biased ass list if I was to rank the films
I actually liked that Back to the future take. Seeing a current kid go back to the 80's and seeing life without cell phones and internet would be cool.
I really really really do think it's a transferable idea. I totally get why people are nervous. It absolutely could go terrible wrong in the wrong hands (or the right hands). But I also think it's entirely possible to do something very cool with it.
@@SeanChandlerTalksAbout It would definitely be a risky movie, but if done right, it could be great. They also could change up some storylines from the original movie to make it more fresh.
Especially with Tom Holland as Marty
@@josephdefilippis07 honestly I don't think they should use the same characters names but use the same continuity
I'm pretty sure they're gonna too much of a woke shit in the movie
Unpopular opinion: Iron Man 3 is fantastic, and my third favorite Marvel film. I love that movie so much. I love the first Iron Man and Endgame slightly more though
I love ironman 3 but i wouldn't put it that high
Yea it is a really good movie
Unpopular opinion: All of Avengers: Endgame makes me cringe. It’s a decent movie, but puffed up to spectacular heights critically and commercially that it doesn’t really earn creatively.
Avengers: Endgame is Back to the Future Part II, with superhero costumes.
Oh noooooo. I hated it so much
Unpopular opinion: The women team-up scene in avengers Endgame made me cringe so hard
That’s a very popular opinion
Yeah not so unpopular
Why? I thought it was just normal.
Really? It got one of the biggest cheers in the cinema when i saw it
It was a bit forced
"There's a whole lot of a word that rhymes with 'grape' "
Sean Chandler 2020
Haha. I didn't want to say the word because of UA-cam's crazy demonetizing criteria. SO you got that gem.
@@SeanChandlerTalksAbout ah, you must be talking about tape
@@SeanChandlerTalksAbout No I understand completely, I wouldn't have said the word either. I just think it's funny the way it was phrased
@@taylorruddick111 no, he's talking about shape. Too many trapezoids
@@SeanChandlerTalksAbout that was so good and funny
Solo and Rogue One are some of the best star wars movies ever made
I agree with ROGUE ONE but I hate Solo
There’s nothing remotely interesting or riveting in the first 2/3 of Rogue One. Last 1/3, visually amazing and loved it! I can’t make myself watch that first hour plus though. It is so boring!
As far as Solo, much more of a cohesive story from beginning to end. Not the best, but I definitely enjoyed it more as a whole.
Agreed
Yup
I agree they link up well with the gourge lukcus trilogy
I love how understanding and down-to-earth Sean is. I watch a lot of youtube film critics that are very critical and mean (which is pretty funny don't get me wrong), and Sean just isn't that. He's very nice, he doesn't make fun of people's opinions and comments, and he makes good points at the same time. It's really a rare gift.
I recommend Jeremy Jhans too. Chris Stuckmann and Adam Does movie are pretty good too
He dosen't enjoy Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Game of Thrones, he definitely dosen't like fantasy
I mean he loves star wars and superhero movies
They are pretty boring, bro?
@@DarkAttackYT yeah, i think he doesn't like king and princess set in Europe kinda stuff
@@Whateveridksomething You mean medieval fantasy?
Unfortunately. GoT seasons 1-4 are 10/10 imo btw and lotr and hp are unbelievable
unpopular opionion : every star wars opinion is unpopular rn
Pain E TraitorEnt If you say anything about Star Wars everyone will hate you. You can’t love or hate Star Wars
Including liking empire? Damn
Alasdair Downie I’m sure there’s a group of people who will find you and say, “Empire is a horrible movie”. Is their opinion correct, no.
Unpopular opinion I actually like jar jar binks I mean he's not my favorite but I think he's funny 🤷♂️
ILikeCupcakes I actually think hes not the worst part of The Phantom Menace, he makes it more interesting considering how boring and lifeless the movie is.
Also I love the sequel trilogy and while TROS is objectively kinda bad, I still love it for what good it offers and TFA and TLJ are great movies
I still love guardians 2 but totally respect everything you said, and agree with a lot of it. One thing I absolutely loved about it though was learning more about Nebula and her becoming a guardian as well, that was definitely heartwarming for me.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is one of my top 5 favorite mcu films.
I Love Far from Home I think it's the Best Spider-Man movie since Spider-Man 2 So Good!!!!
Christian Valdez I heavily agree, it’s awesome!
SPIDER-MAN 2 still the vest
Christian Valdez, It's my third favorite Marvel movie. My second favorite is Thor Ragnarok. The first one is Avengers Endgame.
me too. Best live action spider-man movie since spider-man 3 for sure, and unironically best since spider-man 2.
Unpopular Opinion: I don't think Black Panther is as good as other people say it is because I only gave it a 7/10.
7/10 is still good tho
I've seen a lot of people say that
Ya honestly it’s basically just live action lion king with a bit of a different reason to be king
8/10 for me
I agree with that
Tom Holland and RDJ would be awesome if they did a back to the future remake
LOL I SAW THAT
Your a genius!!!!
Tom Holland would refuse to do it
YESSSSSS
Tom Holland would be good, but I’m not so sure about RDJ as Doc
I thought the same about GOT at first and I forced myself to watch the first season but once you get past it believe me it gets addictive and is now my favorite show ever
I think that you might be like me. The last season wasn't the best but I haven't found anything else that has captivated me.
Dude, we're the same person. The twist at the end of S1 really gives you the feeling that GoT is inconventional
Unpopular opinion: I actually like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal skull. (please don’t kill me!)
Owen’s Reviews me too dude I really enjoy it and like it more than Temple of Doom
news: a guy found died before he died he wrote a comment about liking indiana jones and the kingdom of crystal skrull
Owen’s Reviews me too
@@itstrending8440 a guy found died?
It's definitely not a Trainwreck but it's pretty disappointing and forgetable compared to the original trilogy
Lord of the Rings is my favorite franchise.
My unpopular opinion: I like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory better than Willy Wonka
Same
Wait that’s an unpopular opinion?
I personally prefer Willy Wonka, but I understand why you like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. For me, I just don’t really enjoy Tim Burton’s style. I will say that I like Charlie’s take on the kids.
@Nick Barrie Don't agree with you on Lord of the rings, but totally agree with you on Charlie and the chocolate factory
Same. It's just something about Tim Burton's style that gets me to like it more.
About not liking LORD OF THE RINGS and GAME OF THRONES: I wouldn't say "You don't like fantasy as much as you think you do." I would just say maybe the medieval-European setting just isn't your thing.
I love GAME OF THRONES but don’t really care for LORD OF THE RINGS. The difference? The characters. I felt GOT had very intriguing and fleshed out characters while LOTR had unremarkable characters outside of Frodo/Sam and Gandalf.
@@mattpatti390 that's the opposite with me tbh, I thought the GOT characters were boring and overly similar, while I think the characters in Lord of the Rings are far superior
I don't care for Lord of the rings or game of thrones, but I really like Harry Potter. It probably is just the Medieval-european fantasy we don't like.
mickey disco GOT has a lot of fantasy elements, but most of it is based off of real human stories from the Middle Ages & feudalist societies. I don’t think the characters as individuals are all the interesting, it’s more so the interactions, politics that are so popular.
Ned Stark is probably the most popular character on the show, and it’s not because he’s compelling or interesting like Frodo or Gandalf, he’s actually pretty boring in that sense. The reason he’s popular is because he’s so normal, and the way he responds to the horror going on around him is very relatable.
I like Harry Potter a lot but lord of these rings not so much
Man of Steel is one of the best CBMs ever made. I see a little bit more love for it nowadays, but it still is mostly divisive.
That's My Favorite Superman Movie and and one of My All Time Favorite Superhero Movies I Love Man of Steel!!!
What you were saying about Back to the Future is how I feel about the new Jumanji franchise. They aren’t really “remaking it”, it’s more of a modern take on a classic film. Turning the game into a (sort of) modern video game was such a cool concept to me, and I think they executed really well.
Rip quarantine beard....
Unpopular opinion: I liked Terminator Salvation, best terminator movie since T2 Judgement day and better than the two “reboots” we got afterwards.
I don't think that's controversial honestly
I actually enjoyed Terminator salvation it’s a nice new take on the terminator franchise
Aaron Cutter exactly plus to me it really puts in the fear of what if machines took over the world
Noooo I cannot relate. It's ok, it's just your opinion but wow I cannot agree
I agree
My opinion: after Endgame I dont care about MCU
It's good to have a break after a decade of marvel films. It's good to watch some other movies now and not be bombarded with marvel
Unpopular opinion: the Transformers movies are all bad.
Rocco Mannott that was my poor attempt at humor.
Pk Pk That isn’t an unpopular opinion. I am excited to see what the MCU does next but it will never be as good as the Infinity Saga.
how tf is that unpopular?
“A lot of a word that rhymes with grape”
I died 😂😂
Got and LOTR are ways of life
Thank u
True
Indeed they are.

Philip Martin I think he only ranked the mcu directors
I auditioned for terminator dark fate and nearly got john connor. Congrats to the boy who did tho.
Lol you would have died immediately in a terrible film
In my opinion it’s bad
edit: rewatched, i kinda like it now,
but i still hate how they kill john connor 5 seconds in and don't move away from the future leader from the last few films
it also undermines t2
This was actually really well handled for a dude talking about people not liking his opinions, respect for not being salty at all Sean!
Unpopular opinion:
I like all three Star Wars trilogies
Me too!
We need more people like you
Wait, WhAt? SoMeOnE lIkInG aLl Of ThE sTaR wAr TrIloGiEs?
BaNiSh ThEm!
Grant Sawyer, same.

While I love revenge of the sith I can respect your opinion
I agree and I wish the Star Wars fan base wasn’t so toxic
You and me Both why Can't we All Love the Movies for what they Are and Not Nitpick and Bash them I Love and Adore Every Star Wars Movie Always May the Force be with You!!!!
I'm definitely one of your younger viewers lol, I was born in 98. The first Incredibles was my first ever theater experience. I think I was about 6. I get why Syndrome may not work as a villain to some, like in the same sense as Jamie Foxx from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. I always liked Syndrome as a bad guy because they didn't overplay the character of Buddy. I loved the sequel too, but I was a bit disappointed they didn't follow up on the Underminer's story more. I remember seeing that cliff hanger on the big screen and for years me and my friends would discuss how we thought that battle would play out and I was disappointed that they limited it to the opening scene but it was still a great movie! Great video by the way.
Unpopular opinion: temple of doom is as good if not better than raiders
@@carwashr683 I'm sure that most of the people like it, but most of the people I know think it's inferior to raiders, I like it better than raiders
I agree
I thought temple of doom was way better paced than raiders. Parts of raiders are kinda slow
@@maestercraig3990 yeah, me too
I think Temple of doom is as great as Raiders of the lost ark
Hot take: Creed is actually the best character in the show
I think you’d be surprised how many people think that
Btw the correct answer is Michael Scott
Not a hot take, creed is by far the funniest and my favorite
No Asian Jim
Creed is the goat. that’s not an unpopular opinion.
The Harry Potter movies where fair adaptations most authors would dream their work be adapted that well but the bar for properly adapting books is low I would love a decade from now adapting the books into a tv show on a streaming service a tv show would work better.
They're doing this with Percy Jackson.
Percy Jackson I hope will be good, prefer it over HP honestly
I think Amazon's doing that with Harry Potter
I want to see the jurassic park novels adapted faithfully someday. I love the movies but the novels are lit to and it'd be interesting seeing some of the same characters deal with the dinosaurs on screen.
Lord of the rings is the best book to movie adaptation, change my mind. The Hobbit on the other hand... not so much
I love the LOTR and think Hp is overrated, but I can respect where you are coming from.
My hot take: The Dark knight trilogy is overrated. I love it, but people pile too much praise on it.
agreed
No way, Goblet of Fire movie left out a third of the source material. It skipped over a lot of characters, scenes, and details that were not only important for the goblet of fires resolution, but for the entire series. I’m with you 100%
11:09 "with the complex storytelling", shows a picture of season 8 LMAO made my day, thank you sean
In my opinion Revenge of the sith is the best star wars movie
Edit:whoever likes revenge of the sith leave a like and whoever hates it leave a comment
I feel like this has become one of the most popular opinions in every Star Wars comment section. I respect your opinion.
I don't like it as much as most people and it's actually only my 8th favorite Star Wars movie. It's still very good though. My favorites are A New Hope and Empire. But I also love The Force Awakens.
I think it’s because people that generation are starting to voice their opinion now. To me it’s my favorite Star Wars movie it gets the most emotion out of you. But if I’m being objective it’s not even close to the originals
That's not unpopular anymore and I love it
Shit i think so to. I only like star wars because i love anakin's journey.
correct
I respect you so much. You don’t flip out you just state your opinion and you always say “this is not the right opinion this is my opinion”
Me: "Oh, unpopular opinions. That's okay. I'll still respect them."
Sean: "I didn't like Syndrome."
Me: "The Lord is testing me."
I absolutely agree with your opinion on Revenge of the Sith. Obi Wan and Sidious are great, but Anakin fell flat for me, and the dialogue is pretty bad.
You know I say this A LOT
but this comment is truly underrated
You have fallen to the dark side my friend..
'' I will do what I must. ''
the force awakens is a great movie
It's actually the movie that introduced me to star wars, and is my favorite one of the sequel trilogy.
I think it's okay, but it works more as a theater movie. Opening night, the funny scenes made everyone laugh, including me. Now, watching my Blu-Ray at home, it's just cringey.
It's an amazing movie.
Harry Shaia yes! It is! I frickin love that movie, it may have the same elements as A New Hope, but they have different narratives and story/character arcs. Rey may be a Mary Sue, but little Anakin and OT Luke were good at crap without training too, and I dont mind Rey doing the same
Yes the original SW film is a great movie
Unpopular opinion: i think Spider-Man 3 is good
Same
Black Spiderman was the coolest fking thing ever when i was a kid
Oh boy yeah
I also like Spiderman 3.
Errmmmm...........NO
Is that a Prison Mike funko in the bottom right of the screen😂
I just watched one of your new videos and I feel like I’ve time traveled 😂
My Most Unpopular opinion is liking Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The opinion i disagree with you on the most is your take on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
I like both
Gotg2 was ass
@@xavierp7783 I thought it was great, its my favorite mcu movie
I love Solo as well. It's so underrated
Really liked Solo when I first saw it, and it's grown on me more ever since. I put it at #4 on my Star Wars ranking, even though there's a big gap of quality between #3 and #4
I was literally just rewatching Lord of The Rings yesterday.
Same 😂
One of the greatest trilogies of all time
@mickey disco I cringe when you say that, but that's my opinion, more power to you. You go ahead and love it 👍
@@jarednavarrete1740 Alright name an objectively better trilogy. All 3 are good, and the characters have a good arc maintained throughout the 3 movies. Few other trilogies are so cohesive and consistent, and often seem to drop a bit in quality on the 3rd(godfather, Dark Knight, Back to the Future, some would say the OG star wars trilogy etc.)
I love the way Lord of the Rings peaked at the end, it was a proper climax IMO.
Here are 10 unpopular opinions of mine in regards to movies and TV shows:
1. Michael Bay isn't such a bad director.
2. The DCEU is good.
3. The DCEU is not as dark as everyone keeps claimimg it is.
4. I feel that both Joss Whedon's Justice League and Zack Snyder's Justice League can be enjoyed for different reasons each and if someone is disappointed by the one version, they might find enjoyment in the other.
5. A good portion of the Dragon Ball movies are not very good.
6. We need more kaiju TV shows. Also, some live-action mecha TV shows would be great.
7. The scene in Transformers: Age of Extinction where Optimus Prime recruits the Dinobots is horrible.
8. The shaky cam in Batman Begins didn't bother me at all.
9. The Monsterverse movies actually are well-written movies.
10. The scene in the Transformers 2007 in which Sam's girlfriend breaks down and cries during the final battle is a legitimately touching scene.
Also, here are some honorable mentions: Alien vs Predator is awesome, I like Batman's voice in the Nolan trilogy, Boba Fett isn't such a badass in the Star Wars movies, the Raptors in Jurassic World are awesome, Arrow season 6 is great, the 2016 Jungle Book movie is my favourite Jungle Book movie.
I agree with you on Michael Bay! He’s an awesome director. All his movies are good except Pain & Gain.
Is Micheal Bay a hated director.
That back to the future idea would be cool i think. I love back to the future films they’re my favourite of all time
The Last Jedi is a cinematic masterpiece.
Unpopular opinion: I prefer beardless Sean to Sean with a beard.
I personally love GoT. I can understand that it may not be everyone‘s cup of tea, and the 1st season can take you like 5-6 episodes to get into, but I think that the writing is fantastic, the story is compelling, the characters have great depth and the show is incredibly well made imo.
Unpopular opinion: Revenge of The Sith is my favorite Star Wars movie (okay, I said favorite, not best).
That’s not unpopular anymore...
i hate it when people get on you about saying revenge of the sith is your favourite movie, it’s not my favourite but i really like it and i never make any claim to it being actually good i just say i enjoy it
Not unpopular
It is the best Star Wars film
I get it everyone, I just don’t keep track of what is popular in star wars anymore
i don’t think thats underrated anymore. it’s my second favourite
Unpopular opinion: Fast and furious takes physics well into account
.
.
.
.
.
Oh wait it doesn't
Unpopular opinion: I hold the Fast & Furious franchise on a pedestal as high as the MCU and Star Wars
@@jarednavarrete1740 why?
I just do! I love how stupid, dumb, and ridiculous those movies are, and their semblance of the theme of family. I love them.
The scene in Furious 7 with the sky scrapers & the super car is actually one of the most realistic physics wise stunts in the franchise.
Unpopular Opinion: Captain America: Winter Soldier is the best MCU movie
I absolutely love that movie. It's way more small-scaled than most of the MCU movies and is incredibly tense and enjoyable. I have it in my top 5
Thats actually a legit opinion as a lot of people put it up with avengers 1, 3, 4,
That’s unpopular?
It’s my fave too
I don't think that's unpopular that's a great movie marvel has made other marvel movies are targeted more at kids and family audience.
I love the vids. Keep it up
Sean: I dont really care about lord of The rings
Me: *breathes heavily* calm down, try not to press the unsubscribe button
Yep!!! This one hurts me. Lord of the Rings will always be my favorite films of all time :)
But I respect his opinion.
definitely hard not to rage about that
If Back to the Future were to be remade Tom Holland should be Marty and RDJ should be Doc Brown. I dunno y'all have seen it but they made an amazing remake of a scene from it.
It shouldn’t be remade.....
No
It'll never happen, the Bob's have it in their will that BTTF will never be remade, there will never be any sequels, spin offs or cartoons
It shouldn’t be remade but there should be a sequel with some of the same actors like Michael j. fOx
True!!!!!!!! Make that happen DISNEY!
You just de-aged like 15 years
Honestly, I think many film critics can relate to #2 in some way or another.
Hey Sean, I'm a huge fan of your perspective on movies. Out of curiosity, have you given any thought to producing your own movie script? If so, what genre would you be interested in?
Black Panther is the most overrated film ever IMO
Shut up
Oliver Jones Oh wow, never knew people couldn’t have opinions.
Most overrated film ever? not sure about that, but most overrated MCU film? definently, even though i still like black panther, it really doesn't connect with me as much as it does for other people
I agree
It's definitely was overrated but whenever I say that people call me racist
Hot take: I HATE Inside Out. I have no clue why, but I cannot stand that movie. I know most people love it, and I wish I felt the same, but I think that is genuinely one of the most boring movies I’ve ever sat through. For a movie about emotions, I felt absolutely nothing. During the scene where that purple thing dies, I looked up and around and everyone was in tears and there were people genuinely sobbing, whereas I was just resisting the urge to get up and walk out. I enjoyed the anger character I guess, but I can’t think of anything else I like. In general I just can’t stand that movie.
Aaron Davidson same here
I absolutely despise that movie
Good lord that’s such a bad take. You must not have had a childhood
My childhood involved the Pixar movies that are actually good but thanks for the kind comment
Aaron Davidson i see there are some people bashing about Inside Out being overrated, but honestly I still love it. Its such a relatable movie for me, I feel the exact same as Riley cuz Ive moved twice and its depressing, and the movie is so good at depicting that. I saw Inside Out on opening day, the day before I moved, so I felt the same thing at the same time. I cry every time Riley comes home crying to her parents. Its just so relatable for me and I feel the same way, it makes me so sad
Would love to see Sean’s thoughts on Eraserhead lmao
I’d watch a back to the future remake.
Same
me too but it is pointless
I LOVE what sean has continued to do with his lists and reviews! He is such a great critic AND father! He is one of my inspirations to start my own movie review channel to keep up the conversation about movies and TV!
Unpopular opinion: Rogue one is a masterpiece.
100% agree. It didn’t need Jedi to make the movie fantastic.
Everything is a masterpiece compared to TLJ
Indeed one of the best Star Wars movies. Although any of the Original Trilogy movies probably beat it, it's still really good. Probably 4th or 5th place (and that's saying a lot actually)
I love seeing these honest opinion videos so thanks for making this, Sean!
My unpopular opinion: Inherent Vice is easily my favorite PTA film and I think Robert Altman's A Prairie Home Companion is the most fitting final film of any director's career.
Honestly Sean I kinda agreed with your idea of a back to the future remake except instead of a remake, what would’ve been cooler is if that was just if it was a sequel instead of a remake. Like if Marty Mcfly’s son went to the past to see what his timeline was like, and all the interesting journeys he went through I think that would be better than just bringing an interlay new cast, and different vibes
Unpopular Opinion: I love the Star Wars Prequels
Not too unpopular anymore, and for good reason
I like but not love
Memes Are lit I actually really like everything about them except the weird romance scenes in attack of the clones
@@pedrorestrepo159 What makes them better is thinking how emotionally distant these two people are: a teenage monk with no familial or otherwise relationships along with a pressured politician who sometimes just wants a normal life. Lucas always intended the awkwardness in romance, but in execution, he kinda messed it up. Seeing how it ended in tragedy always adds that "epic space opera" feel to it too, and what it means to the saga and the wider universe as a whole is so important. So I don't linger on the little details so much :)
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 is so brilliant 🤩
I love this film. All the themes, the characters, the development, the ending, the way they handeled the tone of the film
One of my absolut fav. MCU Films
Father and Son in this movie always makes me cry
Ikr its one the best sequels ever too. They nailed it. Idk why people dont like it. Top 10 mcu films
Agreed. I hope Schraffilas does a video on that soon, since I haven't found any videos doing an overview on that movie yet
Completely right!
I know
It looks awesome visually too and has one of the most meaningful and emotional deaths in the MCU
I watch a lot of stuff on youtube with a lot of cussing and I always am a little nervous about my parents hearing it lol. Meanwhile, my boy Sean here saying "Yeah my channel's pretty family-friendly I try not to cuss. There was a word that rhymes with grape." I'm like "HEAR THAT MOM! I WATCH APPROPRIATE STUFF ON MY LAPTOP!
Lord of the Rings is a masterpiece trilogy. I don't get how someone who is a movie buff, regardless if 'fantasy' is not your favorite, cannot appreciate the brilliance of both JRR Tolkien and Peter Jackson.
On the other hand I loved Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, so.
Unpopular Opinion: I don’t think Last a Jedi is that bad
I think all of the Star Wars movies are fun, enjoyable and far from being terrible or bad
Beni Levi Agree that they’re all enjoyable and fun but there are definitely bad ones.
I personally hate the movie, but I can totally respect that you like it and am happy that you found enjoyment out of it, unlike myself
the Marvelite I didn’t like any of the Canto Bight Scenes, but I was fine with everything else. Also I feel like it really picks up towards the end.
@@mt.lafferty2827 I personally, as a hardcore star wars legends fan HATED everything with Luke ,and I don't think any of the new characters are good characters especially Rey is just way too powerful. The force is completely mishandled and as a hardcore star wars fan I just can't enjoy the movie at all, because it completely butchers Luke Skywalker. But I totally understand that people who are not as hardcore star wars fans as I am can love this movie and that's fine
I don't hate crimes of grindewald, for whatever reason, I kind of like it
Same!
I definitely enjoyed and had a great time. Even with it's problems. I'd watch it over Half Blood Prince and Goblet of Fire any day. The only movies I actually like and enjoy are Prisoner of Azkaban and Deathly Hallows 1 and 2 (I have to watch them together).
I honestly think Syndrome is a great villain and his plot is so interesting and menacing that I choke on my tea when you said that, you weren’t a fan of him🤣
Appreciated hearing you defend your hot takes. More fans should have them!
Also, I'm glad you're authentic about your feelings on Game of Thrones. Some people just assume that it's "for everyone!" Which is ridiculous, it's harsh, and it's brutal. But, you may still like fantasy!
Hellboy? Willow? Sword in the Stone?Never Ending Story?
You don't have to love the big three to love fantasy!! (If anything I think Harry Potter, GOT, and LOTR are too dominant in the genre. The genre needs more diversity!)
My unpopular opinion is that I love cars 2
LETS GO
It’s way better than Cars 3
I love that film so much!
Thank You! It’s actually my favorite of the three
I have never seen Lord of The Rings, I hear it is amazing, I still wanna see it
I finished the trilogy for the first time a few days ago. And it is probably the best trilogy out there. You definitely should see it
Do it!! One of the best trilogies ever
Along with the Three Colors trilogy and Cornetto Trilogy, it’s probably the best film trilogy
I will see it and I can’t wait till I do
Do I need to see the hobbit films too?
10. Love Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings they're so fun and beautifully made. I think Lord of The Rings is a lot better.
9. Love both Incredibles 2 and the Incredibles. I actually do prefer the sequel and think it's super beautifully animated.
8. I strongly dislike Crimes of Grindelwald a lot more than the rest of the HP films.
7. I personally love Kubrick but I can understand why you'd dislike him.
6. Never saw Terminator Dark Fate
5. Back To The Future should never be remade. It's a classic trilogy and I don't want to turn into Ghostbusters. I do respect your opinion though.
4. I love Game of Thrones. The show gets pretty bad towards the end but it's pretty well done. I respect that it isn't everyone's thing.
3. I do prefer Creed over Jim. Creed is so mysterious and hilarious and Jim gets very antagonistic towards the last season. I love Creed and he always stays the same
2. I don't really care for all the Star Wars sequels except for The Force Awakens. I do love Revenge of The Sith.
1. I really do love Guardians Vol. 2. I can understand why you didn't like it but I do really enjoy it.
How are these unpopular. They're just opinions, and kinda popular ones.
@@winter236 ask sean then
I honestly don’t understand how someone who likes movies can dislike Stanley Kubrick
9/10
The only one I don't agree with is the Star Wars sequels.
I thought Rise Of The Skywalker was fine enough but I did not like force awakens and I HATED Last Jedi.
Force Awakens is a direct rip-off of A New Hope
Seriously here are some comparsions:
A New Hope
Leia gives the death star plans to R2-D2 and sends him to Tatonnie where he mets Luke
Force Awakens
Poe gives the map to Luke Skywalker to BB-8 and sends him to tatonnie where he meets Rey.
A New Hope
Luke rescues Leia disguised as a stormtropper
Force Awakens
Finn rescues Poe disguised as a stormtropper
In Force Awakens, Kylo Ren is introduced almost exacly like Darth Vader. The same music is even playing.
Serousily I don't want to write all of them in because i am to lazy so just watch it yourself and youll begin to notice details.
G.O.T. was good when it stuck to the source material.
You know, I actually like your back to the future idea as long as they got the right cast and a director who knew what they were doing. That’s easier said than done, but I’d totally watch it
Petition for Sean to say the f word
No because i agree with that
You are a sock well you’re a sock so you don’t count
Just watch his podcast Griffin makes him slip up once in a while
@@davinci3478 When did he slip up? I've only heard Griffin say it.
Robert Alexe I dont think he said the f word but he has said stuff like sh** on it
That you almost never have negativity in your reviews. That’s one for sure(but I appreciate it though)
idk why i just love when things are in lists
I actually agree with your opinion on GotG 2. I also found the tone to be too inconsistent and I thought that there was way too many jokes. And since Kurt Russell and Sylvester Stallone are two of my favorite actors, it kinda sucks that their characters are only in this one entry in the MCU. Stallone has hinted at his character returning but I wish Russell got a role that would allow him to feature in other movies and interact with other MCU characters and actors. But some of your opinions I didn't agree with are the placement of Rocky 3 on the Rocky movie ranking and the placement of Super 8 on the JJ movie ranking. Those are some of my favorites (I find Super 8 to be quite underrated) but I do understand your reasoning with their rankings
The Last Jedi had good ideas.
It just didn’t pull off the execution.
Agree!
For Real!
Except for the whole Poe, Holdo and Canto Bight stuff. Those were awful ideas
My biggest hot take is my Star Wars ranking
1) Empire
2) New Hope
3) Last Jedi
4) Force Awakens
5) Solo (biggest unpopular opinion)
6) Return of the Jedi
7) Rogue one
8 and 9) Rise of Skywalker, Revenge of the Sith
10) Phantom menace
11) attack of Clones
What about attack of the clones
What is this ranking
Cool ranking
Da fuk
@@darthmaul4146 "Oh I don't think so" I don't know in what world where all the prequels are worse than the sequels. But the originals are in the right place I guess.
That Bruce funko pop is SO cool
I actually agree with you on Goblet of Fire ngl.
There were a lot of weird choices made in that film especially compared to the book. Part of it is probably due to the fact that the director, Mike Newell didn't have the passion for the franchise that some of the other directors did. He complains in multiple interviews about how long the book is and I've heard of a couple of choices he planned on making that had to be shot down by actual fans of the franchise who were working on the film. I know its probably really annoying to some people when movies are compared to their book counterparts too much, but Goblet of Fire had so much potential and I think the movie missed out big time. Same reason I don't like Half Blood Prince that much.
