you missed The Last Jedi, yes Rise of Skywalker was a bad movie but it was only trying to course correct a movie so bad it destroyed a franchise.
@@Daeduluus I didn't miss it. It's in the companion video. It's even in the thumbnail for the companion which is shown in this video.

All I have to ask is how the hell is Fifty Shades of Gray not on this list but Transformers is?

Rami Malek has done a great job making people forget he was also in the Twilight saga
Wouldn't you want that too?
@@jdmarsh91 Of course
Robert Pattinson as well .
Wasn't he like 5 minutes in the entire franchise? 😂
He was the one who could control the four elements right?
Sean Chandler explaining the Twilight movies is something I didn't know I needed. That was top-level comedy! 😂
Haha
go o’s baby!
As much as people bag on most of these movies, I think the one that doesn’t get enough attention is The Lion King (2019). Like, how can you take 92% of the screenplay of one of the greatest films ever made and somehow mangle and extend it so the flow, character development, and emotion are all gone?
Die Hard 5 - a sad way for an iconic franchise to go out
I know it didn't make $500M+ but the Die Hard series is still considered a blockbuster franchise overall
man I remember seeing that in theatres can’t believe that was 10 years ago. What a terrible movie.
Hangover 2 and 3 are my guilty pleasures to this day. The cast are just so charming it works for me.😂 Also awesome director.
Love hangover 2
@@tmac731me too. Even though 3 isnt as good as 2, neither of them are bad. The sequels just pale in comparison to the original.
Just would have worked best as a standalone.
For me, and my personal enjoyment mostly, they gotta be:
1. Rise of Skywalker 3/10 (my least favorite movie ever)
2. The Last Jedi 3/10
3. The Last Airbender 3/10
4. Death Note (2017 live action) 3/10
5. Fantastic Four (2013) 3/10
6. Emoji Movie 3/10
7. Men in Black International 3/10
8. Mulan (2019) 3.5/10
9. Terminator: Genisys 3.5/10
10. Suicide Squad (2016) 3.5/10
11. The Predator 3.5/10
12. Transformers: The Last Knight 3.5/10
I’ll keep updating as I think more
If Rise of Skywalker is your least favorite movie ever and it's a 3/10 tied with 4 other films I can't tell if you're being too easy on the film or are super optimistic lol
I would rank last airbender waaaaay lower than rise of skywalker and last jedi, even if those two movies have many faults.
@@seanfox4121 I see and understand why, but for me, don’t really care. I know I despise both films for being the most disrespectful, abhorrent, inconceivably horrible products of my two most favorite media of all time, and for those reasons I never want to watch them ever again, and are some of the worst experiences I’ve ever had watching movies.
All this to say, at the end of the day, they’re all horrible and belong in furthest, darkest, unreachable corners of the universe imo 👍🤝
Least favorite ever and it’s a 3/10? I envy you man, I wish I could give my least favorite movies a score that high 😂
I personally give the rise of Skywalker a 5/10, it’s bad but I have a lot of fun with it.
@NinthShinigami eh fair enough. Rise of skywalker was pretty disrespectful to its franchise but if you put a gun to my head and forced me to watch it and last jedi or last airbender. I'd rather watch either of those over last airbender any day.
At least episode 8 and 9 have acting and visuals that range from good to great, so even if the writing is ass i can turn my brain off and it would be relatively painless.
Last Airbender is an atrocious movie even if you separate it from the animated show. It is inept from top to bottom.
sean out here spitting facts. all these movies have ruined and tainted such amazing franchises

The original Justice League is the pure definition of Production Hell equalling a mess.
I'd say Crimes of Grindelwald
The only thing that surprises me about having Josstice League be number one on this list is that it apparently made more than 500 million dollars.
And I am surprised how he didn't mention "Captain Marvel"

When it comes to the Twilight saga, I enjoy watching them. They’re obviously not well-written movies but they honestly work well as “so bad it’s good” movies
Me too, but the writing isn't that bad Twilight is extremely underrated. The story, plot, themes and execution is very good. In fact, the critical and general audience reception for the books and movies isn't very bad. The internet is just extremely manipulated by memes and Anti-Mormon bias.
Me: So what kind of movies you got?
Roommate: *pulls out a stack of these movies* Here, would you wanna watch any of these?
Me: Why don’t you just burn me up and throw me off the balcony?

Great vid Sean! Can you make a vid about Top 10 Rotten Tomatoes Scores you disagree with the most?
Your film hurt me at some moments…
Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite films of all time and Burton's best film after Edward Scissorhands
Jurassic World 2 is my favorite part of the series right after the original and much better than the first Jurassic World
I forgot that 'Alice in Wonderland' (2010) even existed until you brought it up. That pretty much sums up how I feel about the movie!
And it somehow made over a billion dollars
@@williamlovas2414 That's insane.
Amazing video, love hearing your opinions on films!
Honestly what makes fallen kingdom even more disappointed is the fact that the opening sequence is so dang good it heightened your expectations only for them to be crushed
If we thought Fallen Kingdom was bad, that’s nothing compared to the dumpster fire that was Jurassic World: Dominion.
@@hunterolaughlinDominion didn't even focus on the dinosaurs, it just focused more on locusts of all things.
@@FrazerEddy Ikr? At least the original JP sequels kept the focus on the dinosaurs and knew what their audience wanted to see. Dominion was a clear sign they no longer had any idea what to do with the franchise anymore.
@@hunterolaughlinExcept there was one thing they could've done! Actually explore a new world populated by dinosaurs, that's for sure! This is what makes me angry about Dominion! That they couldn't even expand on the idea that dinosaurs were actually running wild across the world for crying out loud!
@@hunterolaughlinI still believe that Fallen Kingdom is worse imo. That movie really set the bar low.

The Hangover Part 2
Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker
Jurassic World: Dominion
Transformer 2-5
Justice League

Assassin’s Creed
Dune Part 1

Thor: The Dark World

The Hangover 2 I actually like
Jurassic Park 2 I actually like
And Minions I actually like
The rest I can agree with but I must say I am one of those people that got sucked into Twighlight as a kid and was there for every entry lol. I have no idea what was so appealing about them looking back but I think it was the cast honestly. A lot of good looking attractive people that are either a Vampire or a Werewolf 😅
I agree with you on Jurassic.
Every installment, I've liked to some extent.
Now I and my friends have the complete opposite reaction to your Hangover 2 take. Some of us thought it was the best film of the Franchise 😂
It was
Love your vids Sean, keep it up!
I don’t see how Fallen Kingdom is worse than Dominion. Even though Fallen Kingdom isn’t great and has weird things, it still has better logic than Dominion and doesn’t put all of its characters on constant superhero level.
But Dominion came out in the 2020s
I personally dislike Fallen Kingdom more. It's probably my least favorite movie ever.
Don't forget that Rami Malek is also in the Twilight movies
I get that Hangover 2 is a complete retread of the first but I still find it a hilarious romp through Thailand with the phenomenal cast and characters
I really enjoyed Josstice League when it came out and I just thought I had a fun time with it, especially since Batman v Superman let me down so much (I hate that movie with a passion), but overtime, I saw how disjointed it was and liked it less and less. And especially when the Snyder Cut came out and I LOVED that film, I just see Josstice League for what it really is, a bastardized version of Snyder’s superhero masterpiece. Granted, I’m not too harsh on it like everyone else, I still have a guilty pleasure soft spot for it, but I’d be lying if I said it’s all that great
Yeah, I was a defender of Josstice League when it first came out too, although the Snyder Cut did change my view of it slightly, I do think the Snyder Cut is the superior version (Although I don’t think it’s a masterpiece like a lot of SnyderVerse fans think it is) And upon rewatch I did think Josstice League was a little worse than I remember before seeing the Snyder cut but at the same time I still thought it was ok, I definitely like it less than I did before but not to the point where I now dislike it
As a Michael bay transformers supporter TF5 is much worse then Tf4. Better story and better action
Age of extinction was even better than revenge of the fallen
I remember reading a comment yesterday. May need to paraphrase it: Doesn't matter how good these Disney+ SW series are, it still leads to the New Order, patricide, and green milk.
Yup. Why do the Sequel Trilogy have to exist? I said the same thing about the Prequels but at least Revenge of the Sith was good. ST makes the PT look like The Godfather Trilogy. Palpatine is still alive and he has a fleet of ships that will rise from underwater. His granddaughter is the new Luke but without the obstacles being a Jedi.
Disney should've just adapted the EU/Legends stories. Before The Force Awakens, I was wondering if we were going to see Han and Leia's twins? But all the ST did was spit on the old characters by killing them off one by one. While the newer ones became more unlikable and the story went down the toilet because a different director was assigned for each movie until Colin got fired by Disney and Ep 9 went back to JJ to direct. No singular focus. No plan.
I'm down with a Leia cameo in Ahsoka but who I really want to see is a de-aged Harrison play Han. I don't know why Harrison hates Han so much? Because he has no origin story? He's a loser? He never wanted Han to come back for ROTJ. We just watched Disney emasculate Indiana Jones by his goddaughter. At least Han had a better final movie he mostly appeared in.
Han Solo is really the best character in all of Star Wars. He's not the Chosen One. He's not the most powerful. He's the flawed, reluctant hero with more charisma than Luke. Even Mark Hamill stated this. It felt like it was Han's story. Not his. It's when Robin had so much charisma, he outshined Batman. We rarely see sidekicks do this.
It's not like Han Solo was a loser. He started off as this selfish, cynical, atheist loner and ended up becoming a war hero. Didn't he clear Luke's path when aiming to blow up the Death Star? The one time we see Darth Vader as a pilot and Han comes in late to divert his path. Then Han saves Luke from freezing to death on Hoth. The only time we see Han use a lightsaber was to save Luke.
We've had other characters in that Han Solo mold. Finn, Poe, and Cassian don't have his charisma and Boyega and Isaac are excellent actors. And their funny one-liners don't hit as well as Harrison's. Can throw in Hera, a female Han mixed with Leia. He is named Solo, so he is one of one. He's one of a kind. When Han died in TFA, that scene wrecked me. I never forgave Kylo Ren for it but I really should be blaming Harrison.
I doubt Harrison Ford would do it unless you pay him a lot of money. He got about $15M from TFA or over 50x more than his co-stars.
"Look, I ain't in this for your revolution, and I'm not in it for you, Princess. I expect to be well paid. I'm in it for the money."
^ I can honestly imagine that this happened with Harrison calling Kathleen a Princess and her revolution being her feminist movement before he signed up for TFA.
Even if Harrison accepted, it would sound weird hearing his old man voice in his 80s while Han is in his 40s. They should have Elizabeth Dulau from Andor portray Leia.

10. Alice in Wonderland
9. The Hangover Part II

There's no contest, the worst blockbuster of the 2010s is m night Shyamalans the last airbender.
Even though it wasn't actually a blockbuster by your standards. It was trying to be so that's enough of a qualifier
Am I the only person that likes the hangover 2?
I'm seeing lots of comments agreeing with you. You're not alone!
The Lion King remake 2019 is still my worst movie of all time!
There are worse movies than that, the most offensive movie you have seen i get it
I love those rankings, I couldn't get enough!
Sean can you do best blockbusters of 2010s
I did
The food analogies are the best 😂
The Jurassic World trilogy is one of my biggest guilty pleasure films.
But the first one was good 👍
For me Rise of Skywalker has to be the worst. I am someone who liked TLJ, the way it undid that film especially really pissed me off. For a film to manage to piss off both sides of the TLJ divide, for a film to somehow fuck up having John Williams to compose the score, for a film to make it hard to enjoy legitimately awesome films (I own the theatrical cuts, when Palpatine is in RoTJ I now can't not think about how he somehow survives), that takes a SPECIAL kind of bad that no movie has ever matched. For that reason, I not only consider it the worst blockbuster of the 2010s but in the conversation for the worst movie ever made. Hey, at least Battlefield Earth can't say it united a divided fanbase into agreeing "ok that one sucks" and screwed over the greatest living composer while pissing all over a beloved franchise. Yes I'm comparing RoS to Battlefield Earth.
Once the 3rd Trolls movie is released, can you please do a 3 part series of ranking of all 45 Dreamworks films from worst to best because the big number of new ones made?
I remember watching the 2019 Lion King remake with a date, and she literally fell asleep during the film it was so lame.
Thor: Love and Thunder was an embarrassment
not released in 2010's
Not 2010’s but agreed. Worst MCU movie imho, I would probably actually rather rewatch Eternals. Ofc I’d rather revisit NEITHER lol
I didn't think it was great but I thought the Hate was overblown. When I think of the worst MCU stuff, I think of generic and absolutely lifeless movies. Ant Man 3. Taika waitit is a way better director than Peyton Reed which drastically impacts my enjoyment.
That was in the 2020’s, not the 2010’s, and there’s no way on earth it’s on the same level as Transformers 4 or 5, the Rise of Skywalker, Fan4stic, or Josstice League
You know you’re making it sound like you think it was mostly liked right?
I would have listed Last Jedi and JW: Fallen Kindom over Jostice League.
Jostice League was just about passable as a movie and had the odd fun about it compared to the boring movies listed above.
Sean, watch and review the what we do in the shadows movie and tv series, I think you would like them
Where would the third Jurassic World movie place on this list, if it was released in the 2010s?
I don’t know. It’s a disappointment but at least it can have fun with the novelty. It’s actively unpleasant to watch dinosaurs die In fallen kingdom
I can't stand noisy action like so much of what we see in the Transformers movies, or the 3rd act of Man of Steel.
Can you do the worst blockbusters of the 2000s next or the best blockbusters of the 2010s?
Controversial pick, I really enjoyed fallen kingdom
1:04 - twilight
3:22 - hangover
4:55 - Star Wars 9
7:29 - lion king
9:53 - Jurassic world fallen kingdom
I feel if the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy just had JJ Abrams as the director all the way through it could have been a decent Trilogy. Not perfect by any means but decent. Loved Force Awakens was the right way to start a trilogy. Rian Johnson messed it all up with Last Jedi which messed up Rise of Skywalker but I will say Rise of Skywalker had some Star Wars feel to it unlike Last Jedi. Great job on your videos Sean. Keep up the good work
Honestly, the new trilogy of Star Wars ruined all excitement for the franchise.
JW Dominion is a weird guilty pleasure for me. Usually a movie with such a lopsided and strange plot would bother me but I enjoyed a haunted house dino movie.

So glad The Lion King was on this. It's insane how Disney keeps pushing these live action remakes out there and yet guess what NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THEM! And guess what else, Disney doesn't even talk about them either. No merchandise. No in park theme, just the movie and move on.
Skyline, Tooth Fairy, Geostorm and I, Frankenstein. Granted, not blockbuster status but they all made money and a couple of them spawned sequels.
I get you point about Minions, and I think thats why Rise of Gru worked a lot better. However, I think including Minions on this list is weird since its still works really as a movie for children like 10 and below.

You should definitely see the original lion king it’s a classic
Oh I am soooo here for best/worst of year or decades long video lists 🤣
So many of the movies on this list are sequels or remakes. You can tell they’re just clear money grabs that’s why they made so much but we’re so bad.
Hard disagree on Alice in Wonderland. I find it insanely rewatchable and memorable. Alice was a flawed yet aspirational and eventually brave female lead, and we certainly need more of those.
If they just wanted to make a fantasy epic with a brave female lead, just do that. But converting Lewis Carroll into something it's not is an odd choice.
Now that I think it that idea sounds an awful lot like Claymore 🤣

Personally I think Minions is ok. I prefer it to its sequel but I do agree with your thoughts upon it. Good video Sean!
"A spoon full of salt or pepper doesn't taste good"
Well, that is like... your opinion, man
Hangover 2 is hilarious!
With Justice League, I would at least understand hiring Joss Whedon to write better dialogue, because that is something he is famous for doing well, and Snyder isn't really known for brilliant storytelling. But the first Avengers movie is a cheaper version of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Why would you hire a guy whose bad with CGI to do directing?
I personally don’t think Rise of Skywalker is that bad. I there are a lot of good ideas and the first half is a lot of fun. I think it’s two movies crammed into one. The Last Jedi made no attempt to continue an interesting storyline in the Force Awakens so they had to play catch up with this movie. Therefore it’s not fully developed. Overall it’s not great but there are a lot of good things about it that are overlooked. It’s more like a 6 or 7 out 10.
In my opinion I loved the lion king 2019 remake. And I have seen it more than once. Although it wasn’t as good as the original (the one I grew up with), it was still really good to me. I know there are people that don’t like the 2019 remake and that’s fine, that is their opinion. But for me in my opinion I really love the 2019 remake. The original is still one of my top all time favourite movies though
The best thing from
The Jurassic World Movies is the Velocicoatser at Universal Orlando
Like you go on that ride and the theming is so neat you want to watch the movies but then you watch the movies again like… huh…
Thank you so much for leaving The Hobbit, Cars 2 and Fantastic Beasts out. They're really good.
I understand the studio meddling about suicide squad, but I still enjoy it. I still want to see the Ayer Cut
Minus the behind the scenes drama, Suicide Squad was a worse movie than Josstice League, IMO. I remember wanting to walk out of the theater during it.
And the writer that had to adapt all the Twilight books into movies then showran Jessica Jones, so it's proof she has talent and couldn't fix Twilight
I feel like almost everything you said about the Lion King is exactly how I feel about Avatar. Groundbreaking animation and tech in the most mediocre story with the most unremarkable characters
I would probably take out Suicide Squad and put in The Smurfs or Thor The Dark World. Not that SS is great but I would watch it 20X over 1X for the two others, hands down.
No offense…. The hangover 2 is hilarious 😂
there is a bunch of stories of actors being abused on set do you think any of them are true or hold any water or are just made up? I'm genuinely unsure.
