@@FloatingYogaSchool I'm in London on lockdown - loving your yoga style, patience and easy to follow practice. Before lockdown I was practicing in a hot yoga studio everyday, loved the community. I assumed I wouldn't be motivated doing yoga solo at home, your videos are a life saver especially during these challenging quarantine (weird word) times. I now make it my mission to practice with you daily and I'm definitely seeing results and feel amazing after your sessions. Thank you Namaste
I love this class because it’s good core workout without really realizing its a core workout! Now that’s what you call a talented yoga instructor Miss Helen! Peace Wait Hope from Oakville Ontario Canada
I have absolutely loved this flow. I love love that you start many of your classes in childs’s pose, that sets me up to focus and a great way to stretch my crooked spine! It was a challenging flow but I loved the variety and the class flew by! Your instruction is clear and encouraging! From The Shores of Lake Huron- Southampton Ontario Canada Bless you Peace
Amazing workout! Helen you are one of my three favorite yoga teachers on YT. The other two are Kassandra and Erin Sampson. You embody joy, Kassandra embodies compassion and Erin embodies strength. My three yoga goddesses! 🙇🏾♂️🙇🏾♂️🙇🏾♂️
The first time I try this one it was challenging to me, my second time (this one) was much easier I felt so happy with my improvement. Thank you so much for your videos I truly appreciate them :D nothing but good vibes from Mexico
This is an amazing flow. I have always had a hard time engaging my core during balancing poses, but your gentle and thoughtful cues actually got my core feeling totally engaged through the upright balance poses! (I still need to work on standing splits!) THANK YOU!
I would love to take classes with u for my YOGI CERTIFICATION when I go back to the U.S.A. with my dog. Whatever it happens, where I can find u? how i make the application for your classes & how long they take for me to be certified?? xoxo. lots of love.
Yay, you posted a new video! The thing I struggle most with in this class (albeit not the only thing I struggle with) is one-legged standing splits. I feel the furthest removed from the ideal form and unlike crow, where I use fists as a modification, I really don't know what to do differently; I perform the pose in a form that resembles some step-child of Warrior 3/ one-legged plank or dog more than any type of split at all. I believe it is my flexibility that is limiting me rather than my balance. Any suggestions? Thanks for all your videos.
I know I've been slacking but more videos are on their way! Standing splits is definitely a step-child of warrior 3!! Do you have blocks at home? A version I like is both hands on blocks with lifted leg extended back instead of up. It's definitely a deep hamstring stretch so no need to overdo it! I hope all is well with you!!
Floating Yoga School I wouldn't call establishing a new studio slacking off! I actually have the egg blocks, which I do use when attempting standing split. The variation you suggest seems like Warrior 3 to me, but with blocks; am I missing something? My normal Warrior 3 (body parallel to the ground, sans blocks) is actually not bad. Namaste.
Floating Yoga School has saved my month of quarantine.
Thankyou for practicing with me!
