My daughter came over today and requested this dish for dinner. She devoured it when I made it for her earlier this year, so of course I made it again. I’d forgotten how truly delicious this dish is. My husband missed out last time but got to enjoy it tonight. Looks like I’ll be making it again soon because my daughter got to take the leftovers home with her tonight. Thanks for this really scrummy dish Jeffrey. It’s one of our very favorites!
So glad I found his channel, nothing necessarily need be exact, cook according to your taste. His recipes are an adventure in cooking rather than a mechanical exercise
Holy Moley! I made this with sweet sausage and no hot sauce or red pepper flakes since my family doesn’t like Spicy. If your family is like mine and dislikes heat, go ahead and try it. Everyone loved it and I will most definitely be making this again. Super yummy and so very easy.
Besides being such a handsome, talented Instant Pot whisperer, you are a consummate entertainer and the Internet is a much better place with you in it!
Jeffrey I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your recipes. I know we can't have smell a vision but when you are cooking I feel like I can almost smell and taste your food. It's always delicious when I follow your directions.
Made this tonight for the hubby and me. AMAZING! The recipe transferred to the Ninja Foodi without alteration. The only thing I did differently was to break up the sausage as I removed the casing. That made it easier to break up in the pot. It's got a nice heat to it but nothing outrageous. Will definitely be making again. Thanks Jeff!!!!!
Made this tonight with slight modifications (olive oil instead of butter, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, dash of red wine, tomato sauce instead of marinara, omitted cream cheese and hot sauce); used cavatappi noodles. That Borsin really added a great flavor. OMG sooooo good and so fast! An instant hit! Thank you!
This!!!!!! This. Is. Flipping. AMAZING! Made this last night for dinner and brought some left overs for lunch. I made it to a T. Out of this world. Like eye roll in the back of the head, happy dancing, pumping your own dang self up good. Thank you!! Making your pulled pork as we speak! Can we please be BFF 👍😂😂😂and Happy Birthday, Boo!
Jeff, I made this recipe tonight. I cut the recipe in half since I was cooking for just myself. Slight mistake on my part. There wasn't enough water in the pot to pressurize the pot so I just transferred everything to a stove top pot, added a cup of beef broth and cooked it until the pasta was tender. It tasted great. Thanks for the recipe!
Just made this for my family...it was a HIT! Made it without the scallions (didn't have any), used 1 Boursin without additional creamcheese (creamy enough for us) and wholegrain pasta. Scrumptious - I'll make it again ! Thanks Jeff
I enjoy watching you and your love for food. I've tried several of your recipes and love, love, love. The fact that the cooking is quick and doesn't heat up my kitchen in this southern HUMID heat is fabulous.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Full disclosure -- I was on my way to KFC today. But after watching your recipe, I'm on my way to the grocery store for this recipe. "Matchmaker, Matchmaker, made me a match!"
I was looking for new recipes to make with italian sausage and stumbled upon this gem. Didn't have green onions but added cremini shrooms and it was so delicious. Thank you so much.
Made this Sunday nite. It came out perfect! We even shared with a neighbor who brought the bowl back looking for more, lol.... Couldn't find the boursin, so replaced it with Philly garlic n herb cream cheese. ♥️👍👍👍👍👍♥️
Jeffery, the dinner I made last night (crockpot recipe from another blogger) was so overcooked and awful that I think my husband and I deserve one of your dinners tonight: and spicy sausage pasta is as unbelievably delicious as you promised! Wow! Thank you.
We made this for Sunday dinner with family today. Your recipes are spot on... delicious! We made the beef stroganoff last Sunday... delicious as well. We really like your videos that include Richard and your mom too. Best wishes!
Let me just this pasta was my first dish I cooked in my instant pot... I loved it!!!! I have been asked to make this recipe for a birthday party that's how good this was! Thanks so much!
Since my recent TOTAL tooth removal? I've been searching for recipes that can be made quickly/easily/flavor-fully? then blended to a puree? THIS is my next adventure! LOL I can appreciate your B Streisand reference...luv her too! along with you, and your presentations! THANX!!!! :)
I did the recipe. OMG! Was it good. I did a half portion because I didn’t want to eat pasta for a week and it’s perfect! Now it’s my quick goto for a meal. Thanks 😗
Just made this I modified the recipe I used hot ground sausage a pound and a pound of hamburger also used a jar of Progresso Italian sausage and garlic I didn’t have marinara sauce yet worked out perfectly 👍💝🎉 and Jack’s Red hot original pepper sauce (hot sauce) Pasta used was Rotini I buy the Boursin cream cheese I only use half then substituted( I freeze the other half) The other half with Regular cream cheese . (Borson cream cheese is extremely expensive that’s why I cut it in half then I have another half for another recipe) My son likes it he’s a picky eater ( if we follow the recipe I’m sure it would be amazing this was good) and we have a lot of leftovers👀🥰 I will be freezing The rest as grab lunches/dinners
I'm finally making this. I've had a really hard time finding the Borsin cheese and never did find that pasta and i wanted to use that so bad but settled with a mini penne. So its cooking now so we will see. It surely smells good..BTW.. I used the wimpy non spicy version.😁
Forgive me....I thought your other recipes were top-notch, but this one is on a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being the best) - it's at least a 10 ++++. Garlic, shallots, and butter....yummm... I think even I can make this.....but folks, follow Jeffrey's recipe.....you won't go wrong....Great for a larger crowd, too. Thanks Jeffrey. Joyce from Sunny Florida.
Garlic, shallots, and butter, oh my. yum love the Italian sausage (I make my own). Wow, love the spinich idea! For the liquid, take can of stewed tomatoes, pulverize with an immerision blender with the spices mixed in. I do this for the instant pot spaghetti. I have to try your recipe, so rich, I,m drooling here... Happy Birthday!
I like sausage (turkey or chicken) and I like pasta (the real kind) but I LOVE your posts... especially when you just ramble and be silly! THanks for another entertaining and delicious video! Happy Happy BIrthday! (ps, we are not all "guys")
Hey Jeffrey! Really enjoy your videos ~ you prepare such great dishes. Had to try this one so I made it (without the heat). Just WONDERFUL! My family loved it! Thank you for a recipe I will turn to again and again.
Omg...just made this for dinner tonite n it was so delicious. I also tried the victoria white linen sauce for the first time...it was excellent. Will always use it from now on. Thank u for a great recipe n video showing how to prepare it. Just got my instant pot a few days ago and this was the 2nd thing i cooked in it...first being a cheesecake 😁
Made this yesterday. Absolutely amazing. The only thing is I cant fin borsen anywhere in town so I used a whole brick of cream cheese and added some dried chives.
Nice one! Even subbing your own ingredients but keeping the protein and pasta cooking format and it cant fail! We made it mild so the kids would enjoy it, and for the tomato sauce we used my wifes sauce she makes with a dash of hatch Chile. It came out awesome!
I am going to try this today. I got the fennel seeds and anise and caraway. Should I use one, or the other, or a combination of all in my homemade italian sausage?
Love your videos. Thank you so much!! One thing that may help out is to let us know how many people your recipes feed? I have a family of five (two big boys), so increasing the amounts may be needed. regardless, thanks so much for your videos!
I always wait for the true expression on your face with the first taste of your creation. Always sheer joy. You are so much fun to watch. And your recipes always are delicious!
Looks so yummy. I wish i could eat hot spicy foods. But i have gerd. I have to make sure i take gerd meds for two days before i could attempt this dish. But it sure does look delish. Thanks for sharing!
