You did not exaggerate when you said that this was the best spaghetti and meatballs you’d ever had. I cooked it tonight, and I want to eat the whole pot.

I CANNOT believe how many people comment on recipes/methods/ingredients on all cooking sites with "That's not the authentic/proper/ingredient/method way of doing it". It doesn't have to be. It's an "interpretation" of a tried and try recipe. I'm a brewer, imagine if everyone only drank one version of a style of beer. In brewer's parlance, there's more to beer than the Budweisers, Guinnesses and Heneikens of the world. Life is too short. CREATE your own version of a classic. This is what people such as Jeffrey are doing.
I have to add another comment. Please do not change, your style...no matter how big your following gets...I read all the comments and you are so loved. Thank you for your instant pot receipes and keep them coming. I ordered a keepsake receipe book off Amazon. It's going to be filled with all my favorite receipes and I can note memories. I am getting one for both my daughters this year they will be 20 and sooner or later will go on their own and I wanted to give them something that will be filled with 3 generations of receipes plus now theirs. This is one of my wife’s (and mine) favorite recipes of anything I make. We love the spicy kick to it. I’ve researched many instant pot spaghetti and meatballs recipes and this was by far the best!
Made it tonight for supper it was the perfect meal on a cold snowy Saturday night. It is a delight to the palette with an amazingly mingling of flavours.
Made tonight...used leftover sun dried tomatoes from another of Jeff's recipes instead of cherry tomatoes. Used cream cheese...kind of Boursin's out. Again, not your run of the mill spaghetti and meatballs...simply amazing. Jeff keeps making me look like a Michelin Chef...I always take a bow . Thanks Jeff
works great. i love that it has stainless steal pot inside ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and not the one with coating. we used to have a coated pot before, and the coating slowly peels, and i am sure went into the food that we cooked. Absolutely love stainless steel, and will not use a coated product again. This pot has many settings and many buttons, and i need to sit down with a manual to figure out which setting to use. I used the basic functions, and even though i am not technologically skilled, i turned it on and assembled it without any help.Very satisfied with this product overall.
I've watched your videos for the past couple months, ever since I got my first Instant Pot -- and I just got the pun of your UA-cam Channel name. Pressure Luck -- press your luck -- LOLOLOLOL I love it. Anyway, I used this video (and the sausage pasta video) as a jumping point to make my pasta. I used sweet Italian turkey sausage, diced tomatoes, my own herbs from my garden, garlic, onions, chicken broth, and rotini pasta. It worked great!!! Faster than on the stovetop and no mess of splattering sauce all over the place! This is the only way to make pasta and red sauce. Thank you very much, Jeffrey, for all your informative and easy-to-follow video recipes.
This is the first recipe I’ve made with my Instant Pot. The Boursin was a little too rich for me, next time I’ll omit it and double the Parmesan, and then call it perfect. I used Trader Joe’s frozen Italian meatballs, which were the bomb. Love the consistency of this spaghetti dish, thanks for inspiring me to conquer my Instant Pot trepidation!
I have had my Instant Pot for 1 week and it is well worth the investment. Your spaghetti recipe makes it my favorite kitchen device. I can make delicious spaghetti and meatballs in 1 Instant Pot and not be up until 1 am cleaning up my kitchen.
Looks fabulous thank you for sharing. Like you said it’s totally customisable ... frozen meatballs great if you’re in a time crunch and fresh if you prefer it have the time; homemade marinara sauce if you are able or jarred if you’re not; freshly crushed garlic if it’s your preference or jarred if you don’t have the time or equipment; hot sauce or chilli if you like and omit it if you don’t and freshly grated Parmesan if you have the budget and time and pre grated if you don’t. Flavoured cream cheese like Boursin if you like it and plain if you don’t. It’s versatile and I remain confused that despite you repeating that lots you still get comments critiquing every element. If you don’t like it, don’t watch or make it. If you like you have superior ideas add them in when you make it and give yourself a pat on the back. Thanks for sharing. I’ll add this one to my to try list and customise it if I feel like it x
Made this but I put in the entire 3 cups of marinara sauce before pressurizing. It allows you to immerse the pasta better and there are no issues with coming to pressure. I didn't do the boursin, just seemed weird to do that. Big fan of the channel though. I've made a lot of the recipes and they turn out amazing.
We had so much spaghetti and meatballs growing up, I rarely ate it as an adult. Until now. This is next level, creamy dreamy, spicy goodnesss. So flipping easy too. You are my hero!
I have made a number of your dishes this past year. Tonight I made the spaghetti and meatballs using the exact recipe. Excellent with the right amount of kick! Looking forward to your book which I pre ordered. Thanks!
Jeffrey, I enjoy your energy and enthusiasm about instant pot cooking. You make the recipes very inviting---positively hunger inducing. I just bought your cookbook (spiral bound). It is the best instant pot cookbook bar none. The recipes are portrayed visually with on hand ingredients---virtually no fail. Great and tasty comfort food. And, Jeffrey, I would be making your spaghetti and meatballs tonight for dinner if I wasn't already committed to making your mouth watering beef stew. Keep up the great work.
I am glad that you made the Spaghetti and meat sauce in the Instant Pot since I was planning on making some in mine to see how it turned out. I just cooked some ribs in my pot for the first time during the holidays and have some cooking now and the first batch was so delicious after being put in the oven to broil for 7 minutes with the sauce all over the ribs.
Jeffrey, your videos are great. You are so funny and I love it when you bring Richard in. Your choice of spices and wine is my staple but the touch of Boursin is over the top. I wish I could spend the day with you both!
Having a New Years Day snow event with nasty cold temps here in the midwest and made this recipe with meatballs and the Boursin. Soooo good! Really hit the spot!!
Literally sitting here watching this video eating this recipe with some garlic bread. Yummy. I did not go aggressively spice and I actually regret that. I added towards the end. The creamy notes are wonderful and it's so easy. I'm a little angered that I didn't jump in on this Insta Pot thing earlier. This is literally the first thing I've made in mine. This looks like it could feed six with garlic bread and a salad. I added mushrooms in with mine along with my pork/chicken rub of black pepper kosher salt and rosemary. it's wonderful, customizable and wonderful.
i am still making this at least once or twice a month and keep coming back here to watch when i make it. I really enjoy your video recipes man. you are absolutely fantastic buddy keep up the great work love watch all your videos when i can
I made this tonight. This was THE BEST spaghetti and meatballs I've ever had! Everyone loved it. Even my picky 15 year old son who doesn't really like spaghetti. Thank you for the recipe!
This is tonight’s dinner! I made plant based meatballs with white beans and beyond beef crumbles. Can’t wait to try it! I’m loving your one pot pasta dishes, the instructions you give make perfect pasta every single time!
Got an instant pot and found it scary so sent it back. Watching your channel I got another and so glad I did. You simplified the use of it for me and now I use it almost everyday. This spaghetti and meatballs was absolutely amazing 😋😋😋 just pre ordered your book ....roll on may 14th
Lord have mercy! How does this video not have more comments?! This was/is the BEST spaghetti and meatballs I have EVER MADE and HAD... EVER! It was sooo melt in your mouth, delicious, it tasted expensive, like at a restaurant. This is now a staple meal and a meal to prepare for when family arrives! Thank you for sharing! 😁👍
I made this last night. I didn’t have the tomato’s and the Boursin, but it turned out phenomenal!! This was my first time using my wife’s Insta pot. Thanks for creating this video!!
That's-a one spicy meatball....and I love it. Jeff, you were reading my mind with opening the new decade with such a spicy classic. Cant wait to make this, as well as pre order your book. Jeff- you're the best!!
Jeffrey- Just made this recipe today and my wife and I love it I did use ground beef instead of meatballs and I didn't get all the spicy stuff in but I think I will next time I did use beef broth and I use cream cheese because I didn't have any of the other cheese thank you so much for this recipe it is fantastic 1 pot not 3 or 4 to mess up and get dirty and clean thank you thank you thank you thank you
I added a chopped up red bell pepper on top of the noodles and didn't add hot sauce or boursin and I substituted stewed tomatoes for the grape tomatoes and used 2 cup broth not 3, it was incredible thank you!
I’m new to the Instant Pot and had my doubts both about cooking pasta and about a one pot meal. There’s no exaggeration this is the best spaghetti and meatballs I’ve ever had at home or in a restaurant. I moved other meals just to eat the leftovers of this. It’s amazing, you need to try it if you haven’t already. This is going to be a regular thing now in my house.
Happy New Year Jeff & Richard!! I'm an instant pot newbie & your pot roast recipe was one of my very first meals I made in my instant pot. I've also done your sausage & shells recipe which my family loves by the way as well as your sausage & potato soup. I just love your recipes & I can't wait for your recipe book to come out!!!
Erika Lopez I found Jeffrey two years ago when I got my first IP. He is the best. The videos with his mom are great. Grandma Lil cabbage rolls really good.
I've been looking for an easy instant pot spaghetti recipe and will try this for sure. Adding Boursin cheese is a great idea. I also like that he added frozen meatballs - will definitely be great when I'm pressed for time!
Back again! Just here to request that this recipe 100% be in the 2nd Cook Book pretty please-- as well as the fantastic pancake & choco chip cookie recipes plz!!!! Hugs & kisses from miami beach xox
This is so delicious and we make it often. I just use a jar of Mezzetta brand spicy Marinara and omit all of the additional spicy ingredients. Its the perfect amount of spice
I used the 1 lb frozen turkey meatballs from Trader Joes and didn’t have Boursin but another similar kind of herbed cheese spread. It was delicious. The TJs turkey balls are pretty big (ha!) so it was hard to get the spaghetti submerged, but worked out anyway. The next time I used a little less of the cheese, but only for health reasons not taste. So good I’ve made this several times.
I am so glad you used frozen cooked meatballs. I never had a bad one and they are so convenient. I love your recipe. I preordered your book and am looking forward to trying out all your good recipes.
So glad I found your channel ... I got an Instant Pot for Christmas and was afraid to open the box, it seemed so intimidating! Gonna make this in a few days.
Man every time I watch your vids im always surprised at how over the top it is and way better than I was expecting it to be! I have a really good marinara recipe but I never ever though to add hot sauce and cajun seasoning with the Boreson. Not my traditional spaghetti dinner but a spicy twist that im sure will be fantastic!
Excellent dish! I fed four tonight with this recipe, including a pregnant daughter who usually doesn't like spaghetti but went back for seconds, and we still have enough for dinner tomorrow night for my wife and me. Another winner Jeffrey!
We love Jeffrey's IP recipes! Just prepared this for this evening's dinner, with slight observations/modifications. Don't skimp on the butter/oil/moisture ratio. (It's what keeps this dish from 'clumping' upon stirring afterward.) Add broken spaghetti in LAYERED 'criss-cross' pattern to avoid 'clumping'; then add the remaining 1.5 cups of spaghetti sauce on TOP of the broken spaghetti, smooth sauce to cover all (before securing lid). The addition of Boursin: Upon opening the IP, before serving, stir in the broken-up Boursin (room temperature), hit cooked spaghetti with 1 cup of heated chick-stock, mix (really well) prior to serving. (Otherwise, resulting product may be really sticky.)
Thank you 🙏🏻 watching you eased any trepidation I felt about starting to use my Instant Pot Ultra. I received it last night, and this is the first recipe I made! Also, I’ve always made my own sauce, but after your recommendation and reading what’s in Victoria sauce, I decided to try it today. I’m glad I did! Mama will never make sauce again kids! Love your channel and thank you again💞
Here it is 2AM in the morning and I am ready to go cook some spaghetti. LOL You are so right, spaghetti sauce is so versatile, you can so personalize it. Myself I would like some mushrooms and green bell peppers in there also.
Great video! You're funny, too! I'm going to make spaghetti for the first time in my Emeril Lagasse Pressure AirFryer later today as a birthday gift for a friend who loves spaghetti. Hope mine turns out as good as yours looks [and taste per Richard]. Thanks, Jeff!
I was recently on Facebook's Instant Pot Community. Its great you should all join. Anyway one of the members was still experiencing Instant Pot phobia, the fear of opening and actually using their Instant Pot. I gave them a link to this recipe. Told them Jeff could pull them out of their fear. Well they did it. Spaghetti success and have told me they are now on their seventh recipe in under two weeks. I knew your warm personality and charming demeanor would help them. 👏👨🏻🍳
Jeffrey, I'm watching this video while eating some leftover Chicken & Dumplings made from your recipe last night, Keep up the great work, I love your videos!
Thanks for another great dish! I enjoy your channel and recommend it to everyone that evens mentions using an instant pot. Please continue your wonderful work and I look forward to your book!
I made our dinner based off of this recipe tonight, and OMG! SO good! Genius! Hubs just ate FOUR bowls of it, and my kid (a possible alien because he hates all things “melty cheese”) scarfed it down and declared it delicious. So easy to make. Thank you! 🙂
That looks sooooo good! Will definitely be making it. Meatballs were already on my Costco shopping list so one more dish I can make with them. Thank you, Jeffrey! You're the best!
Jeffrey, enjoyed seeing you on the Food Network. Can't wait for your cookbook in April. I still prefer books to cook from and to pour over. All your recipes sound great. Thank you.
I made this dish tonight, with some modifications- it was AWESOME! What I loved the most was the thick, savory and creamy sauce- WOW!! Thank you!! Since I live alone, I cut everything in half. I did not include ground meat, but I added crispy hormel pepperoni slices- (about 3 ounces) at the end. The pepperoni made it more salty than I had expected. I am sensitive to spicy food, so I omitted the pepper flakes and cajun spice, but I did add 1 tablespoon of hot sauce. I added about 2 ounces of cream cheese and 3 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese. I will definitely make this again; however, if I make this on a date night, I will only add about 1 1/2 tablespoons of hot sauce.... Mustard, ketchup, wasabi sauce, and hot sauce make me glow - really glow (explanation: my grandmother and mom always said, "horses sweat, men perspire and women glow" :) and I was glowing up a storm when eating this dish! Loved every bite!
Making this tonight - it looks amazing. Always got the burn message with other IP spaghetti recipes but now I see what you do differently and I'm sure I won't get it this time. Also just pre-ordered your cookbook since I make so many of your recipes. I have never been disappointed by any recipe of yours - thanks a ton!
Made second time tonight, I did not have marinara I had 35oz can Of spaghetti sauce also this time I browned the frozen meatballs while I was cutting up the scallions And Sauté scallions/garlic for three minutes on sauté mode ( frozen meatballs we’re not mushy this time)Then Added the meatballs and used penne pasta ( you only cook for six minutes penne pasta) I add a third of a cup extra Broth to cover the noodles you can use less depending what type of noodles you use. You only wanna cover the noodles not have them floating in broth It turned out fantastic no burn notice I added extra Frank’s hot sauce and crushed red peppers no cream cheese this time it was perfect for our family we like spicy😎
Well thank you.. Modifications for my wifes Celiac disease and her tastes, were FANTASTIC. Could not of had a better 40 minute dinner. Some left for tomorrow's lunch. Appreciate your efforts with the Instant Pot cooking...
I am going to try your recipe! I’ve made spaghetti and meat balls in my instant pot, it turns out great but I love all your choices you’ve given us to add or not add! ( franks hot sauce! Going in!) ❤️💕
This is the 3rd instant pot spaghetti recipe I've tried. The others were using ground meat but I like meatballs better. Anyway this is definitely my favorite. Made per recipe using Costco's frozen meatballs, but without cream cheese. Delicious
Jeff, you're amazing.. I watch this recipe everytime I make spaghetti and it feels like we're cooking together in my kitchen. You have that extra je ne sais quoi.. Delish too, of course!
Again a phenomenal and classic meal. I'm making my own meatballs because there are so easy to make, but no meatballs is phenomenal as well. Thank you Jeffrey!
This really is wonderful! We make this with meat sauce because our Costco doesn't have lean ground beef, just regular, so it benefits us to cook it up, in the IP of course, and get all the fat out then just add that. Otherwise, we make it exactly as directed. It is so good! And Richard has good taste because Andy Griffith, in both of his TV series, is the best!
I just made this!! Literally the best spaghetti I ever made and my first time making it in the instant pot thank you!! My family’s going to love it I’m so stoked on draining is a dream come true for mom with a toddler and newborn lol
You did not exaggerate when you said that this was the best spaghetti and meatballs you’d ever had. I cooked it tonight, and I want to eat the whole pot.
SL Hemp I don’t lie! Glad you enjoyed! ;)
I know it turned out great!

Excellent dish! I fed four tonight with this recipe, including a pregnant daughter who usually doesn't like spaghetti but went back for seconds, and we still have enough for dinner tomorrow night for my wife and me. Another winner Jeffrey!
Your enthusiasm is fabulous and your recipes arre great
We love Jeffrey's IP recipes!
Thanks. Like your tips, this is a very customizable recipe.! You inspired me and I am pressure cooking as I type. Thanks!
thanks for this !!! i just finished mine and it was amazing!! about to sit down and eat it!!! def watching more from you in the future
Didn't make it exactly how you did but I made my version and it came out great. Thanks man. You provide good content.
Spaghetti in the instant pot is amazing. So easy and good
Here it is 2AM in the morning and I am ready to go cook some spaghetti.
Outstanding! Easy to do and quick. Family loved it. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! 🙂
Cooked this. It was awesome. Family loved it!!! Looking for easy quick recipes.
Wow it was a such a big hit with the kids tonight. Thank you so much, we love it
That looks sooooo good!
Thank you.
You're amazing! Love, love, love this recipe!!! Thank you
I also pre-order your new book from amazon. Can't wait!
This looks so good! I'll make it tomorrow night! Your pot roast recipe has been made a few times now!
I bought the Instapot because of your easy and delicious meals. 😲 so good!
Just made this. So good. My wife is very picky and said this was her favorite spaghetti she’s ever had. Thank you sir
You did it again! It turned out to be a hit with the family! Thanks!! Simple, fast and delicious!
You only wanna cover the noodles not have them floating in broth
It turned out fantastic no burn notice I added extra Frank’s hot sauce and crushed red peppers no cream cheese this time it was perfect for our family we like spicy😎
Just made this tonight and, WOW! Really amazing!
Just love your videos, thanks for sharing
This is the best process to handle this. Every other video does it so wrong, but they have no idea why either. Great vid.
I keep making this 👌 it's delicious
I’m so happy you love it!
I made this recipe today and it was awesome!!
Happy New Year! What a great fast and easy recipe. TFS
made it a couple of times; it's our favorite... making it again this week! Thank you!! Love your videos!
I just made this!! Literally the best spaghetti I ever made and my first time making it in the instant pot thank you!! My family’s going to love it I’m so stoked on draining is a dream come true for mom with a toddler and newborn lol
I pre-ordered your cookbook on Amazon. Can’t wait to receive it in April! Love your videos and recipes.
Katherine Sullivan Me too!
Made this for dinner today and it was absolutely delicious!
I just love you, Richard and Banjo and your mom too. Happy New Year!
I am making this today. Looks amazing!
Jeff, I don't know if looking at your food makes my mouth water or if it's how you describe it but I'm about to drown in my saliva. 😋❤
Lela Eber he’s definitely made my grocery bill go up hahaha!
@@starrypunk20 Mine too. Lol
@@starrypunk20 He has also made my weight go up.😂
Just sent my son an instant pot along with the link to your recipes. Love everything I have seen. Can't wait to make the recipes.
This is why I prefer homemade spaghetti over restaurant style. Plus the instant pot yields it fast and great. I eat it every other week.
