Made this last night for my 80 year old parents. It was a smash hit, and a definite do again. Ooozing with cheese just like the recipe says, and lots of leftover meals as well. What a hit and a definite recommendation for anyone wanting to try it. Can't wait for the next helping.
This is in the POT now! Can't wait to taste it. Am I the only one who cooks his recipe while watching, then rewind right quick to make sure I have the measurements correct ? 😂😂
Making this now! I just want to to say that I am so appreciative of you and this channel. I am a mother of 4 and your recipes are a hit EVERY SINGLE TIME. I know it's just food, but that is special to me. Thank you so much, Jeff.
I made this tonight. In the 15 years that I've been married, my husband has almost NEVER liked what I've made. It's either just ok or, "don't make this again." (Which is ok that he tells me that. If he doesn't like it, I don't want to keep making it.) I've also made a dish or two that neither of us could eat. However, he took one bite of this, and he said, "It's good." I about fell off my chair. *I used cream cheese rather than Boursin because I didn't feel like stopping at the only grocery store around that sells it.
J G yeah I totally get it. But I don’t feel as though her kitchen skills are to please her man, or to impress. Like she stated how it was okay and cool when he told the truth about a dish being not so good. It’s better than giving her false hope and feeding her lies (haha no pun intended) and one day someone else is going to hurt her because she’ll eventually believe that those dishes are “good” and sooner or later someone would be bound to break the truth to her. I just don’t think it’s that drastic of a deal for the mr and mrs Mark Dave. All in all , overall we do not know what goes on in that household and it’s silly for you and I to assume things at this point. Take care and happy pressure cooking lol
I’m making this while watching the video and it’s AMAZING!!!!!! It smells soooo good already and it’s not even finished cooking yet!! Love it!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ THANK YOU FOR THE AWESOMENESS!!
I made this tonight, and am ready to attack your Bolognese . You are so wonderful to follow. It came out so good. God bless you and your family on this wonderful Christmas and Hanukkah . Thanks for making my life a little bit easier.
Made this tonight in my Instant Pot. Cheese-y tomato-y goodness! We loved it. I had meatballs in the freezer, so I browned them with the chopped onion in a little oil on the saute function. Used a chunk of cream cheese, as I didn't have Boursin on hand. Turned out soooo good. I will definitely add this to my recipe box. Thank you for all the good recipes.
I’m not a big gadget person as I love cooking traditional ways but I did get a insta pot to be specific the teal pioneer woman one, i will be trying this recipe tonight! Looks amazing! This proved to me why an instant pot is better in the way that it is faster! I couldn’t figure out how this gadget would help me when I could just Do it on the stove, but a 6 min timer and it’s practically done! Oh yeah! Can’t wait! Thanks! I def subbed!
I made this recipe last night and it was amazing! It makes so much, that I'm shared it with the neighbors and freezing the rest! Thank you for sharing this recipe!
You kill me with your reactions. I cannot wait to try this. I wanted to jump through the screen for a taste. Thanks for another super recipe with macaroni.
Made this for dinner again the other night. It's one of the few things I make that my husband enjoys. I'm eating the leftovers for lunch today at work--SO amazingly good and SO amazingly easy to make!
Easy, yummy, and adaptable! I've made this twice now, with different ground meats, and some cheese substitutions, and both times it's turned out great. My adult sons love taking home care pkgs of this dish. Thanks, Jefffrey!
Your recipes are SO addicting! Great personality...which makes it easy to take in all the suggestions and cooking tips along the way. Given that Im in full workout-out/ build mode....your recipes are a full years worth of 'cheat meals'......and will make them worth it. Thanks so much, Jeffrey! And FYI- I was taught....Jews and Italians; Same Guilt, Different holidays.
First, let me stay up front that this is the first recipe from this channel that I have ever made. I am fairly new to the instant pot phenomenons, and the lack of an oven and cooktop for the past 3 weeks has driven me to find other ways to get dinner on the table. Baked ziti has always been one of my favorite pasta dishes, so I decided to give this a go last night. Second, I made two small changes to the recipe. I am not a fan of ground beef in Italian food as a rule, with the possible exception of Meatballs. So I swapped in Italian sausage instead, and cut back on the amount of water by 1/4 cup. The results were very good, and I otherwise followed the recipe exactly as presented here. I'm a professional chef by trade and education, and I have an affinity for foods that are rich and intense. What I turned out of my instant pot last night bordered on extreme richness, even for me. I'm going to make this again, but I'm going to tweak the recipe a bit further. I found the flavor of the Bpursin to be a little intense, so I'm not altogether sure if I will include it in my next attempt. I would also suggest to use 4 oz of mozzarella cheese, and then decided that point, if you really want more or not. I also was missing the Tomato flavor as compared with my Standard Version I have been making for years. But the flavor of all that cheese was very good in its own right. I forget this recipe a four out of five stars. I will probably try using more ricotta cheese next time around, and see if that is an improvement, or takes away from the dish. But as it was, it's very good, and presents a great starting point for what I consider to be some minor improvements. I'm looking forward to trying more of your pasta recipes in the instant pot.
Just made this and it's AWESOME! Hubs doesn't like ricotta, so I subbed it with small curd cottage cheese. Also, I own the 3qt mini...I just halved the recipe and it turned out perfect. Thanks Jeff!
I made this tonight. It was fabulous. Two things different. I went to two different Kroger's, and could not find ziti! I used rigatoni instead. I could not find Victoria Linen. I used Kroger special selection marinara sauce. My husband and son said it was great. I love your recipes and videos.
I’m doing Whole30 right now and this looks crazy good. Once I’m done with this “good experience” I will have to make this just to experience the cheesy goodness
Recommended! Very tasty. Subsituted ground sausage for the ground beef. Also experienced issue with the pot not pressurizing properly. I used a thick marinara sauce and may have needed to dilute more with say only use 3 cups sauce and 3 or 4 cups water. Will make again and again.
I was thinking of making Ziti for friends coming over next week. I already make ziti in the instant pot a lot. It is a seriously easy thing to do in the instant pot. I am going to use your recipe to bump up the flavor. Well done Jeffrey!
My Mom just got diagnosed with Cancer & I heard Keto vs cancer is the way to beat it!! What keto recipes do u have? No sugar no carbs low protein high good fats👍🏼 Anybody?⏳I don’t have much time
My husband and I made this tonight for dinner and it was the bomb! Best Ziti we've ever made or had! That's a big deal cause my hubs is a ziti fiend! Haha Thanks for sharing this fast and delicious recipe! We cant wait to try more of your recipes soon!!
First batch few weeks ago. Awsome. Today, Friday the 13th. Burn reading kept coming on shut er down add water stir. Enjoy the easiest creamiest zitti soup lol.
OMG just made this and it was AMAZING!!! Definitely a family favorite along with the meatballs recipe. We can't decide which one is our GOAT but it's definitely a keeper. Great job 👍
Ingredients: 1 med onion Garlic 1-1/2 or less 90% beef 4- cups of marinera sauce 3 cups of water of broth 1 lb Ziti Rigati pasta #1 Cook for 6 minutes Cheese Sauce: 1 cup Ricotta 1egg 1 tsp dried parsley flakes 1 tsp salt Mix well. Once pasta is cooked stir in sauce. 1 small pkg. Boursin cheese. I would only add 1/2. Top with mozzarella cheese. PS I will add dried basil & Italian seasoning, or fresh basil at the end. Bon Appetite.😋
I usually don't believe a guy when he says "trust me" but you gotta trust him in this case. I cooked the sauce with burger in it for the lasagna recipe by Jeffrey. I was 8 oz shy but tried it in the pot anyway. I got a burn notice. I didn't believe it so I poured it into another instant pot and again got a burn notice. I panicked because I was cooking a meal for 6 people and only had so much time. Jeffrey KNOWS the pitfalls! Add the correct amount of liquid no matter what.
Omg that looks scrumptious! I've never put cream cheese in my baked ziti before. I'll have to try this. I make my sauce out of tomato juice ( that's my Irish side showing, lol) I add all the flavorings and it comes out tasting perfect n cheaper than jar sauces. We are trying the chicken marsala tonite. Made your Chinese pork tenderloin this week and it was over the moon! I just got my instant pot for Mother's day and only had 1 disaster. I tried making elbow pasta with 4c water for 11 minutes. It was one big mushy loaf, lol... I'll try your way, lol.... 👍🍴👍
I luv almost all pasta dishes, but I cant I seriously gotta go low carb man .too much luv lol. How about some eggplant recipe with or the spaghetti squash yumm.looks soo good,I just got mine for CHRISTMAS. So im brand new to the ip.
Thank you! 2023! I have made this about fifty times. I watch this video each time! (LOL) It's the best! My family favorite!
That makes me quite happy!

Crystal Smith I’ve done that with the potato sausage Tuscan soup!
You are not alone lol 😂😂😂
Not at all! I watch a few times and than listen while I make it.
I do this literally daily lol
Jarrod Stewart same 😂😂😂
Making this now! I just want to to say that I am so appreciative of you and this channel. I am a mother of 4 and your recipes are a hit EVERY SINGLE TIME. I know it's just food, but that is special to me. Thank you so much, Jeff.
Same behavior...Different Savior! PRICELESS! This looks sooo good, I can't wait to make this tomorrow. Thanks for all the amazing recipes.
This recipe is soooo freaking good. I'm making it for the second time and adding a bag of spinach since I feel a little guilty for indulging so much!
MalodorousYeti when did you add the spinach?
@@gotgame9900 I didn't want it to burn, so I added it right before the pasta and kinda pushed it down in the same way to submerge it. It worked great!
I love your excitement while you're eating it. You know what's up. I'm Italian, and would be so proud to adopt you as my brother. ❤
"same behavior, different savior" lol...you are awesome
That looks delicious, but I need some Italian sausage in my unbaked ziti!! Thank u for sharing, Jeff! That looks wonderful!!!
Do you use all ground Italian sausage, or do you also add beef burger?
I made this the day the video was posted and it is so good! Had leftovers for a couple days and could not get enough. Super easy too.
OMG! This is fantastic! It’s so creamy. I substituted with small cured cottage cheese because I don’t like ricotta. Thanks!
I always have to watch to the end to see you taste your food! Its the best part!! Love your recipes. Thank you.

Cream cheese is probably tastier anyway. I never had Borsin though.
J G you know marriage is much more than cooking and approval of culinary skills, right? Lol
J G wait what? Were you being sarcastic the entire time?
J G yeah I totally get it. But I don’t feel as though her kitchen skills are to please her man, or to impress. I'm making this for Christmas Eve dinner, can't wait!
You sell the recipe by how you eat it and how you look while you eat it. You Make it look so delicious. Love your channel.
Aw man. This is a family favorite. Made it twice already. Just working my way down your recipes thank you
I made this tonight, and am ready to attack your Bolognese . You are so wonderful to follow. It came out so good. God bless you and your family on this wonderful Christmas and Hanukkah . Thanks for making my life a little bit easier.

You know you have a true Italian when they refer to pasta as macaroni! 😀
Made this for dinner again the other night. It's one of the few things I make that my husband enjoys. I'm eating the leftovers for lunch today at work--SO amazingly good and SO amazingly easy to make!
OMG YES, I just wanted to say the unbaked Ziti is f***ing amazing! it came out SO very good! appreciate the recipe, definitely looking for more.

I made this last night and it was off the chain good. You made this non cooking dad a star for the night.
In spite of your crazy pronunciation of this, I made it and I freaking loved how it turned out. Thank you so much for a great recipe!
Hey Jeff-how about a goulash recipe in the instant pot?
I'm trying one now, I used this video as a guide for pasta. :)
First, let me stay up front that this is the first recipe from this channel that I have ever made. Mmmmmmmm I don't think you can never add enough cheese in this kind of recipe!!!! Drooling.
Jeffrey you will always be my favorite!!! Love you! Made your unbaked ziti... It was fabulous just as all your recipes are!

This was easy to make and just came out wonderful. My family loved it.
I made this tonight. It was fabulous. Two things different. I went to two different Kroger's, and could not find ziti! I used rigatoni instead. I could not find Victoria Linen. I used Kroger special selection marinara sauce. My husband and son said it was great. I love your recipes and videos.

It would be awesome 👍
I make lasagna that way and YUMMMM!

My mouth was watering while I was watching. And Yes! Jews and Italians = simpatico :) ("Here, sit down and eat!)
