Some toppings I like to add that actually are delicious if you give them a try: butter, cream, tiny bit of vanilla, brown sugar, sprinkle of salt. It tastes sweet yet earthy because of the brown sugar - the butter and cream add comfort, and the slight saltiness gives a nice contrast to the sweetness.
@@darkstar3116 Butter isn't anymore unhealthy than sugar o.o if anything sugar should ideally be avoided more. Like with anything, don't gorge yourself. Also, the butter I get is natural, non GMO, from grassfed animals that are treated humanely without drugs, hormones or antibiotics. Most people eat real butter in my country instead of alternatives and no one is overweight or diabetic. Contrary to indoctrination, animal fats are very nutritional and good for vitamin absorption, plus are good for everyone's mental health because of vitamin B12, among other types. Real butter also combats wrinkles (unlike sugar, which can cause wrinkles and signs of aging) The idea that butter is unhealthy is just silly... Sincerely - a nutritionist.
Nice recipes, just know that if you eat dry chia seeds, without giving them any liquid to absorb before ingesting them, they'll absorb the water within your system.
@@energymybestisyettocome323 smoothies have water in them, eating dry chia seeds and then drinking water can cause them to expand and become stuck in your esophagus, contributing to choking. They tend to absorb lots of water and quickly, so to be safe they should be soaked first:)
I haven't eaten grains/bread in years, fruts, veggie and protein smoothies and proteins and veggies for other meals. Then to keto and ate tons of eggs, proteins and fats. After a recent heart attack, I was advised to follow a mediterranean diet. Oatmeal being a big part of that diet meant I needed to learn how to cook fresh oatmeal. Haha! No clue! I've spent some time on UA-cam this week sorting it out. This is such an easy way to make stovetop oatmeals. Relaxing music, nice variations and great lighting. Thanks!
Oatmeal is one of my favorite things to eat during the day and you have shared so many ways to make oatmeal better is just WOW!!! My finals are going on right now so I couldn’t be so update sorry:( but anyways tysm
Tried the blueberry oats recipe and it was yummy! I usually prefer egg over oatmeal for breakfast since it’s bland but it was delicious cooked this way. Will be making it again!
I tried this recipe, and I love the unique way you cooked stovetop oatmeal! It's such a simple and comforting breakfast option that's perfect for busy mornings. The step-by-step instructions were easy to follow, and the end result was deliciously creamy oatmeal. Personally, I have always enjoyed a warm bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, and this recipe just elevated my oatmeal game. The toppings and flavor combinations you suggested in the video were spot on, making the oatmeal even more enjoyable. One more thing, I made it with True Elements steel-cut oats, and it turned out amazing. The steel-cut oats added a nice chewiness to the oatmeal, and it was so satisfying. Thank you for sharing this fantastic and easy-to-make oatmeal recipe!
About the honey thing: Heating it up does NOT make it toxic. It just makes it lose all it's precious vitamins and minerals, but it's safe to heat it up!
Combine: 1/2 cup oats 1/2 tsp cinnamon 3/4 cup milk Then add your sweetener 1-2 tbsp (if it's honey, don't add it yet!) Add 1 tbsp peanut butter. Cook until thickens. And top it with whatever you like.
I’m currently on the Daniel Fast, so will try the last one. I never thought of mashing the bananas into the oatmeal. And the melted peanut butter sounds delish! (I will have to skip the honey, though).
I have IBS and I’m towards the end of having covid and I desperately needed to find something to eat that was simple cuz my taste buds are messed up so I made the first recipe. It was exactly what I needed 😭 thanks so much
1/2 cup oats 3/4 cup milk 1/2 tsp cinnamon Half banana inside the oatmeal mashed and half cut in slices on top I tried the banana oatmeal. It was tasty. Tasted just like banana bread. I would suggest serving with walnuts on top
The toxicity issue with heating honey is due to the malliard reaction, it happens with a lot of foods so it's not specific to honey. Just throwing it out there if anyone is curious, I see a lot of people saying it all of a sudden.
The blueberry oats was so delicious, but I didn’t put the chai seeds because I forgot to buy it. It was still amazing and my sister loved it. She put the chocolate chips on it instead of blueberry’s.

Can Heat Cause Toxicity in Honey? One of the biggest concerns and cause of confusion for anyone who uses raw honey is heating it. Heating honey will alter its chemical composition, but it does not make it toxic such that it can harm the consumer
I just wanted to ask if it's ok to pack it for lunch and for how long can it stay well. Ik it will dry up if It cools down I think I have a microwave in my office kitchen can I just add some water and microwave it? Please let me know thank you❤
for weight loss you just need to make sure you're in a calorie deficit :D it doesn't matter what you're eating as long as the calories you're consuming are less than what you are expending everyday. you can search on google for calorie calculators on how many calories you need to eat everyday to lose weight
If you have leftovers, you can for upto 24 hours but if you’re talking about meal prep I wouldn’t recommend because the texture changes and it doesn’t taste as good imo
Yes. You can use anything for weight loss. Simply burn less calories than you consume. Mediterranean diet can be a great way to lose weight as it's healthy, tasty and filling. Oatmeal is one of the cornerstones of this diet. Just watch the "amount" you eat. Good luck.

Plz acknowledge one thing,, always soak chia seed in water first then use it ... if you eat them dry they will cause several problems.
I eat chia seeds all the time and I never soak them
They grow so when you eat them when you are full they can start moving up your stomach and it will cause problems
it can cause digestive problems and bloating!!!@@colleen6700
