Some toppings I like to add that actually are delicious if you give them a try: butter, cream, tiny bit of vanilla, brown sugar, sprinkle of salt. It tastes sweet yet earthy because of the brown sugar - the butter and cream add comfort, and the slight saltiness gives a nice contrast to the sweetness.

@@darkstar3116 Butter isn't anymore unhealthy than sugar o.o if anything sugar should ideally be avoided more. Like with anything, don't gorge yourself. Also, the butter I get is natural, non GMO, from grassfed animals that are treated humanely without drugs, hormones or antibiotics. Most people eat real butter in my country instead of alternatives and no one is overweight or diabetic. Contrary to indoctrination, animal fats are very nutritional and good for vitamin absorption, plus are good for everyone's mental health because of vitamin B12, among other types. Real butter also combats wrinkles (unlike sugar, which can cause wrinkles and signs of aging) The idea that butter is unhealthy is just silly... Sincerely - a nutritionist.

I haven't eaten grains/bread in years, fruts, veggie and protein smoothies and proteins and veggies for other meals. Then to keto and ate tons of eggs, proteins and fats. After a recent heart attack, I was advised to follow a mediterranean diet. Oatmeal being a big part of that diet meant I needed to learn how to cook fresh oatmeal. Haha! No clue! I've spent some time on UA-cam this week sorting it out. This is such an easy way to make stovetop oatmeals. Relaxing music, nice variations and great lighting. Thanks!

I tried this recipe, and I love the unique way you cooked stovetop oatmeal! It's such a simple and comforting breakfast option that's perfect for busy mornings. The step-by-step instructions were easy to follow, and the end result was deliciously creamy oatmeal.
Personally, I have always enjoyed a warm bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, and this recipe just elevated my oatmeal game. The toppings and flavor combinations you suggested in the video were spot on, making the oatmeal even more enjoyable.
One more thing, I made it with True Elements steel-cut oats, and it turned out amazing. The steel-cut oats added a nice chewiness to the oatmeal, and it was so satisfying. Thank you for sharing this fantastic and easy-to-make oatmeal recipe!

The toxicity issue with heating honey is due to the malliard reaction, it happens with a lot of foods so it's not specific to honey. Just throwing it out there if anyone is curious, I see a lot of people saying it all of a sudden.

Yes. You can use anything for weight loss. Simply burn less calories than you consume. Mediterranean diet can be a great way to lose weight as it's healthy, tasty and filling. Oatmeal is one of the cornerstones of this diet. Just watch the "amount" you eat. Good luck.
