I think at best the Vision Pro is used in professional setting like replacing the Mac Studio or Mac Pro if they pack a M3 Ultra chip. It is just too expensive and bulky for average users to be used in these from factor. The vision line is supposed to be used at home similar to a desktop Mac. The from factor isn’t very portable or cheap to made, second or third gen can’t fix this
I believe VR glasses are already ready to the public, using the iPhone to process and can be made below $1000, having a light from factor like your glasses since you just need battery, transparent display, camera and speaker. Spatial computing is likely exclusive to the vision line since this is more of a smartphone alternative. With a transparent display, they don’t have to worry about pass through and user probably uses a IR ring to control stuff to save on cost and hardware space. Most importantly of all, it have to have advantage in communication or productivity. Or else it is just an Apple version of the PS5 headset.

It has been okay for me so far using it as a college student. I take an online English class on zoom and I was able to join my zoom meeting using AVP while also using my Magic Keyboard to type an essay. One thing that sucks though is that Apple Vision Pro doesn’t support using the Magic Mouse yet so you’re stuck using your hands to move things around for right now.
As far as clarity in terms of being able to see your environment, I actually was able to navigate my college campus quite well with the headset on. It’s not super clear like as seen in the advertisements Apple has released for it but it’s not super bad either. The FOV though is something you have to keep in mind of particularly when people are walking close by.

RE: difficult to read your phone with AVP... But you can certainly read texts while wearing AVP, erasing the need to do that on your phone. Likewise take calls, listen to music, view photos, etc. So, while I *agree* that you *should* be able to read small print, etc. while wearing AVP, it does seem odd that difficulty reading the phone while wearing this device is considered a problem. The AVP does do all the basics that the phone does, right? Of course, we'll grant that it's also difficult, apparently, to type on the virtual keyboard and so texting, which we all use the phone for most of all, is harder on the AVP. That certainly needs to be fixed.

My experience with VR has been largely negative, I get headaches, motion sickness and even after trying for weeks I couldn’t bear way things look
I used the PSVR2 and sold it after 4 months.

We really appreciate the honesty. I’m an Apple only user but all these Apple fanboys are insanely annoying and make people buy products that may aren’t even that good to begin with.

All of these issues feel like gen-1 issues that could (and probably would) be fixed in future releases.

What did ppl expect. Have they never used vr pass through. Everyone knows you can’t get perfect vision for soooooo many reason. I was stunned how good the pass through was. And the low persistence from screen

0:42 it's weird that unlocking iPhone doesn't work while wearing Vision Pro. Knowing apple's focus on their ecosystem. I would have guessed they thought of that too like sync the iPhone and Vision Pro so when both are facing each other, it automatically unlocks the iPhone.

Why don't we use multiple apps in iPhone
    Like floating window.
Even that now processor is so powerful but not utilised fully .

Man, I don’t experience majority of the complaints in this video lol
Blurryness is not an issue when using phone or watch
Low light works good enough for me
Although unnecessary for me, Use the dual loop band if it’s too heavy or put on a hat/beanie to help with comfort
If you see a slight glare when watching a movie, it’s because of the reflection of lenses of bright white colors with a dark background. Change the background to a light color and problem is solved

I like how Apple wasn't putting MacOS on an iPad for the longest time lest they mess up their delicate ecosystem (wouldn't want an iPad user to keep using their iPad instead of a Mac!), and then they release a product that can replace literally every device in their product lineup.

Not gonna lie, if they make the VP more accessible in terms of affordability and the machine itself (making it way smaller maybe thicker glasses), then this really may just be the future and will replace smartphones/tablets/laptops

From a channel that usually defends apple’s decisions it is refreshing to see you take the other stance. I applaud you for that! We must not forget that this headset is very expensive and is just a glimpse of what will become the mixed reality of the future. However it is still is a 3500$ first generation flawed product.
