Clean your engine bay! And stay away from Audi dealership for maintenance, they will rob you blind...find a reputable shop that can work maintenance on your Audi.
I worked at audi west island for 3 years and its my favorite brand, but i can remember the director himself arguing with clients on why the warranty doesnt cover this and that, conplete bull💩 he just didnt want to waste time he rather take peoples money. And charge crazy amounts, all the mechanics were my friends and i got my cars done by them but at one point he said if yall wanna stay atfer work and chill yall gonna have to pay so the work was getting done in their own garage lol and the prick wanted His car clean cut everyday lmao prick
Steven T A tuned S3 is alot quicker than a stock S4, and with lighter weight it handles much better too. Stock for stock an 8V S3 keeps up with a B8.5 S4 in every way. But I agree a comparison would be cool.
Hey guys, nice video. I have a 2018 Ara Blue S4 wihj a stage 2 APR tune with downpipe. Now have 12,000 miles and it woke up around 7000 miles. Now I do 3.8 sec 0-60. Loving the response in overtaking slow drivers in the slow lane. Harsh ride though but you get used to it. Always dodging pot holes.
Just a small suggestion. I would put "owner's talk" or "owner's perspective" in the title. This title almost made me think it was a re-upload from your review video because there isn't a clear distinction. Good video though!
So there was no comparison between a stock S3 and the stage 1. It would have great if you at least drove it. A bit disappointed in this video since it gave me no comparison of any kind vs stock since this guy has never driven one.
@@tsifty1 anywhere in the world, apr offers there normal staged packages and their *plus packages. The stage 1 tune for this car is 799 and has no warranty, a stage 1 plus tune I believe is 1299 but comes with a power train warranty.
Between your review and this video of the S3 for the love of the world we get it that you think it's too small. I don't know what the heck you constantly need more space for but jeez.
I love how he says he has Audi Care and likes warranty, but APR Stage 1'd it... Sounds like hes paying big bucks for nothing since hes gonna get TD1'd.
Hey, I have the same wheels as you however have never seen them elsewhere...are they a stock option? I bought my S3 2 years old and had them on but never seen them on any other car
What did the dealer say about your warranty after your stage 1 tune? Did you get the APR warranty when you got the upgrade? I’m wanting to upgrade my car but I am worried about warranty and destroying the engine from a stage 1 tune from APR. Please give me some feedback. Thanks
Apr will get your car flagged TD1 which means if you blow your engine or trans they wont cover it. Stage 1 shouldnt hurt your engine unless the tune is way off
"I drive cars for a living" ... I assume you have some other job right? As your channel probably isn't big enough to afford an R8 and S4.... (As far as I know)
After watching this video I'm so glad I did not purchase the 2017 Audi S3 that I was willing to purchase. I wanted to get it so bad because I saw the massive increase in Horsepower with a stage 1 APR tune, 66 horsepower increase, but I was hesitant because I've owned an Audi before and I am well aware of the maintenance cost. Ended up getting a 2018 WRX. Though a stage one S3 would destroy my car, hell... Even a stock, at least I don't have to worry so much about maintenance. Either way though, this car is amazing, I love Audis! Props dude!
I drive a 2017 S3, completely agree on the timeless look of the S-line Audi’s. 10 years from now they will be classics!
Lmao no they won’t. There’s only like 2
desirable Audi models that are classics
@@DaveA441 depends.. but for me, basically s2.. and rs4 b8. Thats it lol you could add the rs4 b5 into it as well..
@@DaveA441 you are insane, the S3's are absolutely beautiful teutonic driving machines.

And zero exhaust note... downpipe and stage 2 ECU and TCU. I commute one at stage 2 every day 150 miles. Love. This. Car.
If someone was reviewing or highlighting my vehicle, you bet the engine bay would be clean. Why even include the b roll of a dirty engine?

It would be cool to see a drag race and general comparison between this tuned s3 and your s4

weird. my apr stage 1 + s3 does 0-60 in 3.87 according to APR...

If you find an APR Certified Dealership you don't really have worry about your warranty they usually will keep that intact.
So there was no comparison between a stock S3 and the stage 1. It would have great if you at least drove it.
A bit disappointed in this video since it gave me no comparison of any kind vs stock since this guy has never driven one.
Don’t forget you can actually get an APR tune on an s3 and get a warranty from apr so you can still have full warranty on the vehicle.
Niklas Dyhl anywhere in North America? Canada?

How’s your R8 doing lol
As someone with a vegas yellow S3, I totally vibe with those comments about the color haha
Between your review and this video of the S3 for the love of the world we get it that you think it's too small. I don't know what the heck you constantly need more space for but jeez.
I live south of Detroit and have a b8.5 s5. Next Monday I'm taking it in to get my APR tune installed at Steve's in Waterford
I love how he says he has Audi Care and likes warranty, but APR Stage 1'd it... Sounds like hes paying big bucks for nothing since hes gonna get TD1'd.
Do you have your headphones on backwards when you're editing your videos or something? Fix your Audi-o!
After this video they went to the park and "made out"..
my gti lease is almost over and thinking s3 vs Golf R i cant decide...... hows the reliability on audi family?
You’ll get more deals with the s3 nobody will lower the price on a golf r they’re very limited.
I got a Golf R, it's cheaper then s3. Its definitely got an edge on practically being a hatch.
The Wiseguy what kind of deals, lease or finance
S3 is bit quicker
i have the b8.5 s4 version of this car down to the interior and exterior color
Hey, I have the same wheels as you however have never seen them elsewhere...are they a stock option? I bought my S3 2 years old and had them on but never seen them on any other car
how does this kid have so much money?
He’s a drug dealer.
Beautiful car!

Cool real talk review.. but funny that he’s favorite part of the car is the color..
I have the same car. Prestige.

Uber shift.
He works for Ford. Or at least he used to.
Chuck Jim what does he do for Ford?
@eddiex did you used to live in Kamloops BC?
No
Where is your manual r8?

Subie are trash I had two sti 17 19 slow with problem
It’s awesome
Audi care? They don't void that cause the tune?
That’s dumb why wouldn’t you hybrid be your daily driver.
Seriously talking about mustangs while driving an s3 . No acceleration runs. What a waste of time.
This is super weird for me.
I have a misano red 8V S3 sedan with the same wheels and black optics package haha.
Goals
If it’s small you should have bought an S4.....stupid comments re size.
Quattro sticker on a haldex car LOL..... its like putting an M badge on a normal bmw. Nice car other than that :)
watch donut medias video on quattro.
cant hear shit bro
Audi care is a fuckin rip off you literally pay the cost of a tire every month
Also the ea888 is a reliable as fuck engine literally never had any major issues
