Love my 17 S3! 70k miles and all smiles. Its fun when you want it and great to just blend it with traffic when you just want to cruise in silence
Nice to hear! We've been really having fun with it!
Have you had any big issues ?
I had a 2017 S3. Then I went to a manual M2 Competition, and now I'm back to Audi with the new RS3. I really enjoyed having a clutch again, but I missed Audi when I had the BMW. The interiors are better and the B&O stereo is infinitely better.
The RS3 is considerably quicker than the S3, but I actually think the S3 might be the perfect amount of power. The M2 and RS3 are so fast you really can't push them very often. No matter where you are, if you punch it you're criminally speeding 2 seconds later. That sounds cool, but it has real life limitations if you don't want to be a felon.
Oh cool! We are enjoying our RS3 a lot right now! Sold this S3 for it. I do miss the better steering and handling of the S3 tho. So mechanical vs electronic feeling. Sound system is pretty good in the new RS3 for sure!
I think as a DD, Audi's are great. The BMW M340i also is a great daily.
That’s a great daily bmw as well!
Currently driving a manual mustang gt, its amazing and awesome fun but the repayments are quite a bit and the fuel is crazy expensive especially here in aus with it being $2.20 a litre. Think i will go the s3 for sure !
Wanted a S3, but bought an A4. Still is a fairly decent daily driver. Not as nimble.
Oh cool! Yeah that'll have some good size and space to it. You can tell this is a small car. Audi makes some good choices tho
Would you say a always stock s3 with 55k miles is a lot, would like to know you opinion ?
Brian, said it many many times, and I’ll say it again 🤣, the RS3 has the dirtiest launch control ever, picks up and gets going real fast
Oh I bet! Even the S3 is wicked quick with launch control. Can't wait for the RS3!
Your S3 launch control is pretty snappy too. You hear it pickup and get movin!
Oh Yeah! Can't wait to tune it!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed which kind of map are you looking for?
@@Static_MK3Focus I’m just going to do a basic tune with the current mods. Then the dsg tune. I’ll hat a Cobb AP since it’s super easy to do at home
Yes it is the best daily driver cousin just got one and compared to my twin turbo Infiniti the S3 is quicker and has better sounds for starter sports car
Yeah I can see that. I've been very happy with how well rounded the S3 is. Great option for sure!
Help, I can't decide! Would you recommend the 2023 S3 or S4? Residuals on the S4 are a bit higher than the S3 in Southern California, so to get into a P+ S4 it's about $50/month more than the S3. It's mostly just me running errands on the weekday and enjoy some drives to L.A. on the weekends. What do you think is the better option to lease? I guess it comes down to paying for the extra features like the massage seats, built-in upgraded sound system on the S4, slightly roomier interior? I only got to test drive a P+ A3 and a 2021 P+ S4 S-Sport, so I couldn't really compare the two because the S4 had so much more power than the A3.
Honestly I wouldn't buy the new S3. We're buying a new RS3 and it's only going to be $7k more than a new S3 with similar options. Can't see why someone who can afford a $60k car wouldn't just get the RS3. A base S3 I feel like you're missing way to many features for a $50k car. So I'd get the S4 or the RS3. If a good used one pops up for less then waiting for a new one, Id go for that too tho
@@BrosFOURRSpeed awesome, yea RS3 is the move but without a plug to get a good deal, it's $10k over sticker and long wait list. I just wish the S4 had the integrated screen and updated interior similar to the S3 and S6. Thanks for the insight and I agree, it looks like I'll try to work something out with the S4.
@@morokai1670 yeah good points. We put in our RS3 order last year. Car will be end of this year.
I’d say then go for a more basic S3 then if you don’t need all the extra features. S4 is really solid tho even if it’s got the older interior
I love that sound
Thanks! The AWE kit is amazing on this!
i hope you got the rs3. those cars are absolute beasts. the daza engine is perfection. Build it a little and its a supercar kill3r
Yup! Plenty of content on the RS3 lol
@@BrosFOURRSpeed 👀 on my way to check it out
I have 19 s3 and I love it but def has build quality issues. windows vibrate when they are rolled halfway down. Sunroof screen slowly falls back when i drive and vibrates at 3800 rpm making you think its an engine mount problem.. acceleration is good but I wish it was more. Sound was terrible until i turned off Soundaktor and opened the active exhaust
Interesting. Ours never made any rattles or anything like that
where do u get the black logos? s3 and audi logo
ua-cam.com/video/DP7qrRVoxx4/v-deo.html
I did them myself. Heres the vid ;)
@@BrosFOURRSpeed or ebay
What year is this? I'm in the market for one but the interiors look so different.
This was a 2016. Fun car!
Is this a 2018? And is that a wrap or an actual Audi colour?
It’s a 2016 and a factory color! Was around a $5K option to get it that color! Don’t see too many of this generation in this color!
Anyone in australia here? wondering what you pay for fuel each week / what you get L/100km (driving the car faster than the average driver)
Just calculate average gas price and tank size and you'll get the number
might buy a 2015 S3 with 84k miles for 20k would you recommend?
Not bad! Just take sure you get a pre purchase inspection done on the car by a local Audi dealer.
Have a BMW 330D currently and considering to switch to S3… anyone have experience of both cars and can you advise? Cheers!
Oh nice! Definitely have good things to say about the S3!
If u were gonna get an S3, get the sedan, looks so 🔥 The sportback/hatch looks a bit meh meh
In the USA we only have the sedan ;)
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Ah yes that's right, well... That's good haha
I love my 2022 BMW M240i xdrive. 0 to 60 sub-4-seconds. Base is under 50k new. Xdrive is real-wheel biased. And you get BMW's remarkable B58 turbo straight 6. An affordable (for the thrilling performance you get) yet comfortable, reasonably economical, all weather, rocketship daily driver.
Bob
Yeah that's a solid choice for sure! Probably one of the best 2 door cars for the money! We had the 230i with M Sport package for a week and the was a lot of fun. Can't imagine the B58 in the same car!
How much was shipping if you don’t mind?
I think it was $1,600 from CA to NC. Car was $34,500
@@BrosFOURRSpeed that’s not that bad thank you
@@s5austin_ Yeah not bad at all!
R.I.P Lexus IS300. They are still Legendary, but yeah.
It was a fine car for the time she had it. Had a blast owning the S3. Just sold it for what we bought it for 2 years later! Onto the RS3!
Is 2014 S3 with a 100k a good buy currently? Pls get back to me about this
Possible. As long as it's been well taken cars of
Thanks for reply bro, really appreciate it! How about mechanically? If I maintain it and do the services as required can the car go for 170+ km ?
I have audi s3 as a new driver what do you think for rileable on your car
Never had an issue with this ua-cam.com/video/AD3a9rRlgVo/v-deo.html
Owned it for 2 years and drove it about 10k miles. New owner lives local and loves it. Great car as long as you do basic maintenance on them annually
@@BrosFOURRSpeed wdym by basic maintenance
@@bola-ramy Do an engine oil change every year of 5k miles. Tires when needed. Break pads when needed. That’s about it for the first 50k miles. Then maybe 1 transmission oil change and differential oil change. Should be good for another 50k miles.
Rs3 all day baby 🔥.
Yeah we are loving our RS3! The S3 was great tho for the two years we had it! Great little car. Check out our latest content on our new RS3
How much does it cost to maintain it?
ua-cam.com/video/gPriCGPCb0M/v-deo.html
Hardly anything. I did two oil changes during our ownership. That was it.
Check out our S3 playlist for several ownership video I made on this

How tall are you? Looking for a cat to be comfortable in
I’m 5’11”, sit in a few to see what makes you comfortable! What are you looking for?
I came to the same conclusion.
BMW 3 series are ugly and has ghetto stigma. CLA35 is too expensive for the same performance.
Audi S3 is fast enough, good for winter, and looks timeless.
Yeah I can see that. Such a clean car with a lot to offer! We love it!
Golf r better. I’ve had both
Golf R is a lot of fun. I'm just not a fan of the interior. Feels a bit cheaper. Nice to have the manual option tho
Yuck! The golf r does not compare!
All i ever hear is horror stories about audi's motors/trans
Really? This would be my second Audi, currently own an RS3. My brother had owned two R8's, all 5 have had zero issues, not sure where you are hearing all this..
No, it's an automatic
But at least it's a DCT rather then a torque converter. Nice to have the practicality of an auto with the precision of a DCT
@@BrosFOURRSpeed yea I know, more expensive
Yes. Faster
@@LOUCABRASI faster is not always better
lmao, another one fails to accept that manuals are dead.
was about to get one, but then notice the near quart of oil that was leaking from it, it was a 2018 too
only 30k miles
i ended up getting a IS300 F sport 🤣
Oh dang! Something broke for sure!
That’s interesting, could have been something minor to fix.
Those are cool too!
