thank you a lot, i actualy have problem to understand how work the accelerator offensive program, i don't know if it work after your hacking reach where the program is placed or if it work all the way to the destination of the hack if the program is placed on the destination

What cloaking level is granted by the faction trait? (for custom factions)

What happens if you create a Backdoor on Civ A and then hack Civ B.
If you fail the hack on Civ B and get traced do they discover you as the source hacker. Or do they think it originated from Civ A in my example?

How many anticloak ships do I need in a fleet to see a cloaked fleet? only 1 ship is enough?

pretty sure 1 is fine as long as it's high enough in level relative to their cloaking lelvel.

Afaik you do need to have the dlc to host new games with cloaking, hacking and the umbral choir

Please, how do I increase Hacking Speed even more, can I buy it out per rate of speed some way, other than just minor improvements, what if number of turns for hack is infinity symbol?

No where on the internet or youtube can I find a simple explanation and example of what each program does, defensive and offensive,, you show the programs listed but I wish I could give an example explanation of what each program does like firewall and overload but this video more strategy, the game detail highlighter doesn't really do a good job explaining what each these programs exactly do.

um.. i dont know but the pirate can detect my fleet at early game.
1 from the curiosity and other when they meet up at a system.

Pirates get anti-cloaking tech real fast, and will most likely be the first ones to have it, and maybe even the only ones for a long time if you're playing with A.I.(although they could potentially stay that way for some time in multiplayer as well)

Seems like very artificial and convoluted features. I mean, you have hacking which is countered by hacking defense and you have cloaking which is countered by anticloaking radars. Pretty much every side need to have this now so the sum of both new features and antifeatures is null. It would be a lot better if both features were unique to Umbral Choir only.

I don't know, I wish to play a space game. You know, something with exploration, space battles and all the good shit. I don't want to simulate going to my office job, basically. I find this hacking mechanic endlessly tedious. After a few tries, I just deactivted the Penumbra DLC.

Good tips in this video... but damn... the music... think about people try to understand what you say (and you speak very fast) and this music is too loud for your comment. A good tutorial should be with clear background, normal speed speaking. Thanks for the effort tho.
