I like that this game is very complicated but not having an encyclopedia explaning how things work it's kinda sad :(. I think the developers made a pretty rough start on designing the game mechanins, multipliers and such that don't want to explain the game because it will reveal a huge pile of bugs to the players..
A quick warning towards building an Obelisk of All Space-Time: For every turn it is either being built or in que, there is a radar signal being emitted from the system that is easily noticeable. Trying to experiment to see if others can see it without exploring that portion of the map, but I assume they can.
typical respond of Lumeris-AI to that: "Oh, why are we fighting when we could be trading? Lets be friends once again (at least until u turn your back on us the next time)." Now that i think of it i must say that they did a great job of making the Lumeris a race of intergalactic "sleazy used car dealers". ^^
I just recently discovered that the effect's of the card mean very little It's all about the formation on the card. If you have long range guns but you chose a close up formation your going to get wrecked. I would love to know what the best cards are.
The proper range is basically required for a card to be effective. For the starters, I actually prefer the 3 non-starter cards for the damage bonuses over the defense bonuses. Later on, I like the repair card and the dust per CP destroyed card (iirc, it is with the antimatter defense modules). End game, personally I think the Full Reserve card is required (iirc, with quadrinix defense). It gives you + 1 Action Point for -25% damage. There are way too many times where you have to chew through multiple small fleets.
You're kinda right about allied supremacy victory. Got it with my riftborn allied with vodiyani and Unfallen when cravers were almost wiped out on easy. Seems controlling all home planets isn't necessary tho, just your alliance need to reach a point where its growth can't be matched anymore.
Yes, I have and it was because I was in an alliance. As he mentioned in his video this is probably a bug in the UI and it should update to 5. I was in an alliance with 1 other faction, the UI said I needed 3 wonders and I had 4. No victory. After I broke my alliance I was victorious on my next turn.
Just picked up this game. Love all the victory variety, just wish there was a domination option like in Civ games. Basiclly have to conquer everyone from home system to their last systems.

"the descriptions werent always very clear" - the understatement of the decade
Ah, yes endless space is like Civ VI (which is already screwed up) but much more beautiful, complex and messed up.
I like how u treat you're Lumeris-Allies in this video. Reminds me of how the AI (especially the Lumeris-AI) treats me throughout the game ^^
Yeah, screw them! Oh hey there, nice planet you have there...*sends 1000s of ships*
"thats some nice galactic real estate you're sitting on"... how i hate that message. ^^

I like it, but game's so hard to win
awesome video :) can you maybe explain the battle (card) system in the next video ?

Nice Pacifist Craver goverment, the people seem to be taking it better than I thought :P

any one built all the wonders but still can't trigger the victory condition?

I can confirm too it was a bug, I was in an alliance with 2 other factions, so i just kept building them until I won.
Allied supremacy victory is exactly as you theorize
Endless: first!
Great guides altogether
Thanks! Glad you like them!

That is what the supremacy victory is you have to hold all capitals same as civ
Very useful , Gracias!!!!
Huh. I generally just max out approval and overcolonize.
Oh finally the video I have been waiting so long :D
Thank you for your work!
