One thing for those planning on camping in CE wanting hovers, negotiate all of the first FE province. This will get you four hovers instead of one down the line. You don't really need anything beyond that, though subcruisers from OF are great to play around with, especially if you move to TE. And no, you cannot go beyond OF because one quest requires you to do ten productions from an OF building with no way around it.
I wish I had the advice regarding getting the four hovers; for the most part you want to fight provinces because fighting in general leads to the most free units...but not in that specific case! Either way though I pressed through and now have an entire OF army, plus plenty of spares, in contemporary which more than makes up for the lack of hovers. Still wish I had them though! Sometimes I like to use the hover in specific situations and it would be good to have spares if the first one got damaged 8p
Yeah, I looked ahead through so many quests to see what fighting/negotiating did. Fighting generally gives more units while negotiating gives more diamonds.

After that I forgot about getting higher aged units until I was in InA and another InA player attacked me wth PME units. Since that time I've been running ahead in the quest line except for those times I run across road blocks which require researching a specific technology from the age of the quest line. Makes GE a lot easier :O
A lot of talking and so little details. Fandom wiki is inaccurate, outdated and a lot of infromation is missing there. Some units can be obtained only if you negotiate or only if you fight your way in the campaign. Some you get no matter what you do. Here is what I have discovered so far, feel free to add missing information or correct me: - EMA units in IA: 2x armored infantry , doesn't matter if fighting or negotiating, bonus quests - CA units in LMA: 2x musketeer, 5x grenadier, 2x field gun, doesn't matter if fighting or negotiating, story and bonus quests - InA units in CA: 6x rifleman, 1x howitzer, 2x jaeger infantry, 2x lancer, 3x breech loader - if you fight, you get only 2x jager infantry and 4x rifleman when negotiating - PE units in CA: 1x rapid fire cannon if you fight OR 2x tank/conscript/sniper if you negotiate first, you get different units depending on what you do next - PE units in InA: 1x rapid fire cannon if you fight, 2x tank/conscript/sniper - depending on your further actions, 1x armored car and 3x conscript - no matter what you do - ME units in InA/PE: 5 or 7x Bazooka team (not sure if you need to fight or negotiate, I was fighting), 2x battle tank and 2x mechanized infntry (not sure if you can get them negotiating, I was fighting) - PME units in InA/PE/ME: 5x MG team - only if you negotiate 2 first provinces (those belonging to Che), 6x commando - no matter what you do?, 1x champion - no matter what you do?, 2x rocket artillery - only if you decide not to tell your pepople the truth about mad colonel (story quest)? - CE units in PME: ......? .....?
Is the rocket artillery a side quest? I read the wiki and it says the truth or dare is an abortable story quest which leads to the quest that requires research of Squad Tactics(PME tech I think)
I think it's possible get units of CE being in ME because are Optional missions who give all (or almost all?), they appear when u going conquering the map of CE. The units are 3 anti-aircraft artillery, 2 artillery, 3 tanks and 2 helicopters who are the last in appear after conquer the first province of the third brother dicappear ¡¡¡¡After conquer some provinces cancel slowly the "recurring missions" because the "optional mission" of CE can appear!!!!!
The end of the PME story quest requires researching PME tech so you can’t get anything over PME until you are in PME. I was able to get OF units in PME however. The catch is you need to have left many un-researched tech

Note: Buy it free!, also known as Buy her freedom quests, for 2 Musketeers, is a story quest. Buy it Free is quest 22 now, and it is called Fight for Freedom. in case someone is confused why what is shown in the video on the quest list at 3:19 is different from wiki.
Someone in my guild said to only negotiate the continent map, to get hover tank. I'm in CE, and got a few Tomorrow troops. Now I'm on the Arctic continent map and still no new troops. Do I need to actually battle some to get the good stuff? Thanks.
Make sure you dont abord and dont complete choise truth or dare, I skiped and completed for 2 artilery pme and I am stuck, when now I am at 4th province map future in modern era
@@FoEhints personally, I felt like I was more useful in my guild to stay in the Contemp era, but I messed up my research and wasn't able to get future era troops, otherwise I would use surrogate soldiers for CE battles which are better then and the same as Anti aircraft vehicles
Help me understand... this vid says the first era where you can obtain advanced age troops is LMA? When I was in Iron Age I was able to get 2 Heavy Infantry from EMA via the continental map. I am camping in EMA so far... am I able to obtain any HMA or LMA here?
in Iron Age you can already receive heavy units from early middle ages. Unfortunately they don't change much. It is more interesting to get units from higher ages.
Good evening, I'm a new player and I was wondering how to activate the bonus quests. Actually I'm in IA, and I have 2 quests related to the story. The first one is linked to research tree (building houses of the EMA), and the second is related to the campaign map (something about discovering new sectors). Should I just keep going on through the campaign map? I have unlocked the map with the mountain barbarians, but no quest related to that bonus map has been activated yet. Any clue? impossible In the Virtual Future there are several quests which can only be completed when you are in the Virtual Future. Example: One quests requires to develop the Citizen Score System, which is a technology of the Virtual Future and cannot be replaced by something else.
After completing the last story quest of the current age you will receive the first story quest of the next age, even without advancing to that age. You can complete these challenging quests and players love to do that bevcause these quests occasionally reward the player with good and mnilitary units of that next age. Sometimes the story questline has a blocker in it. You found one. It is impossible to constrruct the building. In that case you cannot advance further without advancing to the next age.
Not much use to you when they get hidden in the cloud, I have several units one level higher than I am but they are not useable due to being hidden in the cloud.
An overview with all the quests providing unites would be the best thing ever made.... Great vid's, keep up the good work.

Actually you get 5 instead of 1 because you still get the 1 later on.
I didn't know this and fought the first province... I always fight. Strange that only negociating gives you the hovers.

Can't get the FE unit in IA, there is a story quest in LMA called "Beware of wizard" that asks to build a Tower Ruin, which is an LMA building...
