a strategy i use to minimize space: 1 rogue hideout+alcatraz and 0 military buildings. soldiers can be easily obtained in the expedition which would save a lot of space for warriors/fighters
Exactly how mine is set up. 😁 I have 1600+ unattached rogues for “some day” and no reason to level fighting great buildings until my fp great buildings are all level 60+
combining rogues with anti-aircraft vehicules will send you straight to heaven. some of my neighbors have been complaining to me about looting their cities so effectively :D
once again the best sir! thank you. Do you have a video or could make one on how to use the Forge Point GB exchange program in a guild? Like a 3,5, 10, 20 swap. I have people in my guild that dont understand it, explaining doesnt work, and they level other peoples buildings as well! I can then post a link to a video as a instructional aid tool. thanks mate
Thank you for the positive feedback. I have such a video in German: ua-cam.com/video/4MTUZ-DO_Bs/v-deo.html I am currently translating the videos of my German channel into English. One after another. It takes time. But it will come.
I think having loads of hide out is a waste of space tbh .. You only need 1 and a traz that's plenty :-) IMO Ok watched it to the end ... We don't play GvG so maybe there is some benefits there ... But if just fighting GE and neighbours 1 hideout is enough with traz
I have deleted my rogue hideout for now, as I have 800+, and wanted to get some extras of the other units (champions etc). I have a few, so I can always put it down again if I need to.
general rule of thumb: never delete a hideout, store it. unless you have already 10+ hideouts in the inventory it's not a good decision. depending on the age champions are either shit or op af
For most players a single rogue hideout is enough. Of course for guild expedition and guild battlegrounds the few rogues from a single rogue hideout are not enough. The numbers will come from your Alcatraz then.
Is there any benefit to having multiple Rogue Hideouts / Dens for a player with Alcatraz? Does Alcatraz produce a higher percentage of Rogues with multiple Hideouts / Dens as opposed to ‘normal’ units?
My Alcatraz is level 81. I habe 8 Rogue Hideouts and they all are fully expanded to 5 slots. I did this because I am fighting a lot: - daily guild battle grounds - daily gvg incliding placement of defending and attackung armies - level 4 of the guild expedition every week Without gvg I would only have a single rogue hideout. Bit gvg makes the difference! Summer last year my rogue count dropped from 16k to 7k. I upgraded my Alcatraz from level 17 to 81. Now the number of rogies is stable at 8k.
The computer‘s units get stronger with the ach age. Go to this website and scroll down to enemy defending army Bonusses: forgeofempires.wikia.com/wiki/Guild_Expeditions
question about diamonds - if I started new world while having one already, when I will get a mission for diamonds? Need 560 diamonds, have 340 already and idk when will some diamond mission came.
Most quests have a random reward. With every quest you have a small chance to receive diamonds. The fastest way to get many diamonds with a new city: - remain in Iron Age - ignore fighting - produce many goods of Bronze Age and Iron Age - join a guild playing guild expedition level 4 - negotiate all 64 platforms without spending diamonds you will need a good tavern for this With fighting it will take 3 months until you will be able to complete level 4. with negotiations only a couple of weeks
Do players really need more than one rogue hideout and a good Alcatraz? You said yourself that you have 2,500+ rogues now. What point is there in having more than one hideout with two slots when Alcatraz continually produces more and more?
It depends on what a player is doing: It you are a tradesman only fighting a bit in the lowest two levels of guild expeditions, a single rogue hideout will be helpful and already enough. If you fight level 4 of guild expeditions every week you will notice that you lose many rogues every week. The best compensation is having more than only one rogue hideout. Depending on the era (guild expedition is much harder in the final eras) you might feel comfortable with two, three or four rogue hideouts. With gvg you cannot have too many. The huge number of rogues in my cloud results from those days when I don’t have time to do gvg. But an active evening with attacks in three different ages, conquering three sectors in each age, often results in a loss of 100 rogues on a single evening. To be prepared to react very strong, a huge stock of units is necessary. Those who only fought in low ages rarely lose a unit in gvg. But conquering an enemy headquarter in future age results in significant losses. If you look at my city (German Noarsil, Skrupellos der Große) you will count 10 rogue hideouts now. Gvg is the part of the game where you need this.
I have 10 rogue hideouts on Noarsil. They are all upgraded completely. My Alcatraz is on level 64. Guild Battlegrounds + GvG + GE requires so many units that I need that. Without GvG and only little participation in guild battlegrounds 1 Alcatraz would be enough.
InnoGames once mentioned that this would be too complex for the app. I assume that they have problems with the limited screen size/resolution or they don’t want to have too many developers occupied with that, as implementing new features has priority. I am that it wasn’t an easy decision because they promised to become more a mobile game company than a browser game company
isn't using rogues kinda bullshit? while normally you might think its not that bad because your not playing on lower age's but its kinda too op for iron age

Agreed
I find it amazing that Rogues can literally transform into anything. Including a tank
Well, they were added to the game during a time where the most advanced technology was a big sword XD
Timing is everything, just got a hideout, thinking about selling. Thanx

Whenever you say "They Suck" it gets me
:-)

some of my neighbors have been complaining to me about looting their cities so effectively :D
It´s so fun when they write back to you with bitter threats xD
... It was stupid for me to delete my first rogue...
Holy crap! I have around 20-30 unattached rogues and I thought I was doing well... Daaaammmmnnn
~150 here
for GvG it's not nearly enough but for expedition/neighbors it's plenty. if you're good at combat 30 is quite good
I have 1672 at the moment! 🤪

I am currently translating the videos of my German channel into English. One after another. It takes time. But it will come.
Now I challenge you to do a video successfully defending against a rogue army plundering your village.
ok, I did. See my latest video that I made for you.

You mentioned the reason for having many rogue hideouts yourself: daily gvg with only one rogue hideout will soon bring you to your limits
Sam Craig whatvabout if your playing gbg. 4 rogues and two units?
I have deleted my rogue hideout for now, as I have 800+, and wanted to get some extras of the other units (champions etc). I have a few, so I can always put it down again if I need to.

Is 2 rogue enough? And how to use them efficiently in high middle ages when conquering provinces?
For most players a single rogue hideout is enough. Of course for guild expedition and guild battlegrounds the few rogues from a single rogue hideout are not enough. The numbers will come from your Alcatraz then.

As I play on iPad, GvG is not available to me, so I can happily stick with one Rogue Den.
When you move up eras does the bonus strength Ai troops get increase or stay the same in the expedition?

FoEhints man that sucks :/
hoopla I checked online and It showed the graph showing how the ai bonus gets stronger each era you move up

Yeah if you're just doing the expedition a rogue traz setup will be enough
if a rogue changes into another unit, and that unit is killed, do you also lose the rogue?
yes
Does this apply to the mobile app ?
Yes
Why spend to upgrade to more Rogues? just use alcatraz to build them up.
I have 10 rogue hideouts on Noarsil. They are all upgraded completely. My Alcatraz is on level 64.
Guild Battlegrounds + GvG + GE requires so many units that I need that.

i dont agree . too muci time to build them , and way too much time to manual-fight
Why can't phone players do GvG 😭

6 months into the game on the app and I didnt even know of GvG :O
Why do I write in english? Ich kenne nur deine deutschen Videos 😁
