The Arc - Great Building in Forge of Empires Asking players, which building is the most wanted, you mainly hear: the arc. This is a good reason to have a detailed look on that great building. The arc produces goods of the player's current era for the guild's treasury and it increases the owner's contribution rewards. Guilds with players owning buildings like the arc, the observatory or the atomium, usually can release level 4 of the guild expedition every week without asking to donate the required goods. Players with such buildings are very popular for guilds. The observatory helps the guild only. The atomium at least provides some happiness to the owner. The arc instead provides huge advantages to it's owner resulting from it's second bonus: increased contribution rewards. Those who help other players upgrading their great buildings, can receive forge point packages into their inventory as contribution rewards. With an arc level 1 this bonus in increased by 10%. This is nice, but absolutely no explanation why this great building is so popular. On level 10 the bonus is 31%. That already is an attractive level, but still exceeded by higher levels. The big goal of players with the arc building is level 80 as it provides a 90% bonus. This means you receive 1.9 times the normal contribution bonus. E. g. being on top of the contributor's list of an Alcatraz building reaching level 10, you will receive more than 160 forge points as a bonus instead of the normal 85. Now many players might remark that I possibly might have lost every sense for reality. Level 80 of the arc? This requires 189.021 forge points. Compared to the daily 24 forge points of the town hall this requires 21.5 years. Even with more forge points from event buildings and other great buildings it is still an unrealistic goal, isn't it? Indeed, the first player reaching level 80 with his arc must have felt like that. But on older servers there are many guilds having multiple players owning an arc on level 80 or above. And this will make it very easy for new players. The upgrades up to level 10 are just normal. Starting with level 11 you need a complete set of blueprints for every new level. For the next 50 levels there is a huge demand for arc blueprints. Later such a player receives more blueprints than he ever can use. During these upgrades the best places in the contribution list are often given to players already owning an arc level 80. They donate 1.9 times the contribution bonus without receiving anything in return and this already fills a lot. The diagram shows that until level 10 the necessary number of own forge points is growing. Above level 10 it is shrinking again with each level. In a medium range the arc fills nearly automatically by contributors. If the guild has at least three players with an arc level 80, they just pay 1.9 times the bonus for the top 3 positions and the arc can be upgraded nearly immediately. The owner only needs very few forge points to do that. In the region from level 30 to level 60 the arc nearly expands itself. Afterwards the requested number of forge points grows again. This is the reason why players leveling their arc are focused on finding a guild already having several members with an arc level 80. then level-up is comparable simple and fast. It also makes sense to concentrate on this goal first as upgrading all other great buildings is much faster then, thanks to the huge bonus. This procedure is a disadvantage for smaller players in such guilds, as they invest in forge point exchange chains but never have the possibility to achieve a contributor bonus. These bonuses are given to the big players with the 1.9 advantage. Those who bring such a great building into a forge point trading chain cannibalize their smaller guild members. The advantage goes to the player with the fast growing great building, not the supporter with the 1.9 bonus as he dies not get many forge points, but medals and blue prints. Both are not very interesting for him as at this point of the game he already has more than enough of both. The arc is the only great building where I understand that a player wants it much earlier than in 'the future' when he can produce the required goods. A high level arc has a quick return of invest. To get the goods required for building the arc as a player in a lower age, these can be trade via a trade chain. In return for these very expensive goods the seller receives forge points. You see a typical trade chain as an example. First any 100 goods from the bronze age are traded for 200 biogeochemical data. Afterwards these are traded for 400 superconductors. These 400 superconductors then are traded for 800 purified water. Some of that water is traded for biogeochemical data. Some of the biogeochemical data is traded for algae and finally some of these are traded for nanoparticles. When these individual trade steps are completed one after another, the buyer has all goods required for building the arc. Now the set of blueprints needs to be completed and then the great building can be started. But is this legal? Is it against the rules to make such a trade goods for forge points? The support responds cautious. The game rules do not contain a paragraph which might forbid such a trade. But the rules emphasize that push accounts are not allowed. The algorithms implemented by InnoGames to reveal such push accounts might overlook the corresponding goods-part of the trade and identify the buyer as a push account only created to donate forge points to another account. This would be forbidden with the result that the buyer's account would be blocked permanently and the pushed great building would be deleted. But I cannot recognize such a risk with a single trade over a short time. The trade described above already has been done by many players before and I never heard about a single case where the support flagged such a player. There is no reason to advise against such a trade pointing to the game rules. But you should be able to trust the seller. If he receives the forge points and then denies to deliver the goods, there is nothing a buyer could do. The support will not help in such as case. Therefore I recommend to have such a trade with trusted players that you know well in your guild. And you need these players for upgrading your arc anyway. And eventually you will want to help other players in the future in the same way someone helped you. This is the way it will be a benefit for all players.

4:27 - I've just gotten my arc to lvl 11. From now on, it's always "less PFs than the previous level" :) until the 50s... but by then I hope to have a better city with more FPs production :)
I managed to get an Arc in the Iron Age by watching 40-65 Arcs in my guild and trying to hop into 4th or 5th place. No Forge Points may have been returned, but getting 4+ BPs and a handful of medals paid off real fast.
You can build any GB in any age, you just need to obtain the BPs and Goods. The BPs you can get through contribution sand aiding other players. Goods have to be traded (or diamond bought) for if you're not in a age that can produce the goods themselves
I just did this in IA also. In fact I was able to construct my Arc 2 months and 1 day from starting! I got the BPs in the way you described and I had very generous guild mates that gave me sweetheart deals for the goods!
I was constantly getting attacked and plundered by one of the top players in my city. I had a lot of FPs stashed so I sniped a top spot on his Arc, leveled it early and pissed some people off. 🤣 Got a lot of BPs, too. Worth it because I mentioned that I had a ton of FPs and will gladly keep sniping unless he quit plundering my goods. I worked.
To be clear on how to acquire Arc goods: Buyer trades 100+/- low age goods for 100 same amount Arc goods. Then Buyer puts negotiated amount of FPs on sellers designated great building.
You forgot to mention that Arc give huge amount of ranking points with each level. That means player with high level Arc will be in top 10 in his/her neighborhood that means no plundering (unless there is a player that plunder everyone on daily basis).
For untrusted trades to get Arc goods I have devised a trade scheme that take a low risk method and returns all original goods to their owners. The forge points are given to the seller step by step doing trades along the way. Low level goods (bronze age) are traded, then traded back and when the final trade is done the buyer receives the ARC goods needed. All trades are done so that no other player would even think of stealing such an unfair trade and if they did it would only profit the original traders. It is not a hard scheme to figure out if you just think about it. The only down side is that it take 3 trades to complete one Arc goods exchange.
I would not say it's pushing an account as long as it's a trade of FPs for goods. Of course the system wouldn't necessarily be able to recognise this specifically. Perhaps the system does not flag it because contributing to other GBs without it being a swap is a intended feature in order to get BPs and contribution rewards (therefore benefiting both players, not simply pushing one player)
i just got y arc few days ago, so thought it was a good idea to review your past video about the subject. i my case i've been lucky to be given one set of ressources to build it, and also got a very cheap other one for an other member of my guild. i was wondering why in my guild i was forbiden to invest in the 3 first places on other arcs of the guild, even thought i have a good fp production, now i understand why... cannibalism

I don't know what went wrong as I pre-planned the rush quests so I got a ton finished before stepping up to wheel and wow the initial spins got me 8 nest kits, and some other stuff however since gahhhh I've got less than 5 days to get 3 more nest kits! I have an arc at level 80 and let me tell you, getting blueprints for other great buildings is just so much easier, you can get like 10 blueprints completely for free
what strategy would you recomend to get it leveld? in my guild I recently set up a swap with 3 other low level arc owners where we alternate the top spots so that we all get the same reward. we are now first working to get all our arcs on the same level and then push through the levels together. we are still below lvl 10 so no unlocking of levels yet but I could see this might be a problem once we start reaching that place. what recomendations do you have to overcome this problem?
For low levels this is a good strategy as you get enough blueprints when your sponsored great buildings level up. Latest at level 20 (with enough blueprints earlier) you should try to find 1.9 sponsors for the first or the first 2 ranks. Use the remaining sponsor ranks for your group to maintain a stable flow of blueprints
I contributed 2 forge points to a neighbours The Arc and it's level 85. I got nothing from doing this. I was the first to contrubute, too. It says +1480 Forge Points, +37594 Medals and +16 Blurprints. I got absolutely nothing. Please help me on this.
The reward is granted at the moment when that Arc completed that level. It is important to be on one of the first contribution ranks then. On a level 85 Arc it can happen that it might take very long until the owner starts to complete that level. If so he might want to attract other players contributing more than just 2 forge points even for rank 5. Based on this there is no hope of receiving something for contributing so little. Sorry
you support other players with forge points and receive Arc blueprints as a bonus. you motivate futire era buildings of other players and receive blueprints for it (2% chance) Then you find someone who is willing to trade the required goods for your (maybe iron age) goods. Because that would be a bad deal for the seller of the goods, he will ask for some compensation, e g paying 500 forge points into his great buildings Then you construct it.
I have a question, I am in the HMA and got my blueprints for the arc complete. I don't have the materials to build it, but might be able to get them for guild members. Is it wise to focus on leveling the arc this early. Or should I first focus on getting my attack bonus gb's to level 10. I am currently leveling gb's with attack bonus (Zeus, domof achen and cdm) they are around lvl 6. Thx for the nice informative videos.
Many would recommend to build the Arc as soon as possible. My personal recommendation is to focus on the ferat buildings with attack bonus first. This has the huge advantage to be able to complete level 4 of the guild expedition every week and that is very beneficial.

ok... let me see if I get this right? if I find a few contributors with level 80, I will still somehow get the BP's to level my arc up, correct? They only way to get them is to contribute to other arcs. is that right? or am I missing something?
As long as your Arc is below level 30, it is a challenge to get enough blueprints. With a higher Arc you will receive additional blueprints. The result is that you will have more than enough blueprints of nearly every great building if you own a high level Arc. Therefore in lower levels you need to invest a huge percentage of your Forge points in other great buildings to receive enough blueprints. Later you simply concentrate on profitable investments and the blueprints will fly to you.

200 Bronze Age goods for 100 Iron Age goods is called a fair trade. This works well in the market. What I described in the video is a trade to get the arc goods which are from the future era. To motivate a player from future era or above you pay him Forge points

They need long, they are patient and they concentrate on that one goal. Also: Without the competition of other high level arcs they can benefit very good from the bonus when supporting other great buildings and generate a lot of Forge points that way.

No But each additional level requires more forge points than the one before. Above level 80 the contributor bonus is not growing as fast as the requested number of forge points. Also the effect of each additional level above 80 of the great building is extremely small.

Also, i have 5 blueprints of the arc and 4 blueprints of the rain forest project. Do you think it's worth it for me to spend some of my diamonds to buy the remaining blueprints of the Arc (which would cost me 800 diamonds) or do you think it would be more interesting for me to buy the remaining blueprints of the rain forest project (which would cost me 1000 diamonds) and then add friends from the future era and aid them with the RFP's bonus that increase my chance of getting a blueprint when i aid someone and thus, get the blueprints for the Arc and other GB's?
Generally I believe that using diamonds to buy expansions is the best investment. In case you want to use them for a great building, I would never decide for the Rainforest Project. Even with a complete set of blueprints I wouldn’t build it. You will be very disappointed from it’s effect. You normally motivate 50 players to get one blueprint print. With the Rainforest Project this gets an improvement of 80%, which means that you the get one blueprint for every 30 motivations. Using space and forge points for that effect? In a direct comparison I would always decide for The Arc, not for the Rainforest Project.
Hagia Sophia provides happiness and forge points on a 7x6 space. In lower ages the happiness seems to be good. But later you will recognise that you have many other possibilities to get enough happiness. To receive forge points is never bad. But is it a good deal to receive 6 forge points every day after investing 2,950 forge points upfront? It is not the worst great building in the game. But I believe that players building this develop slower than others concentrating on other buildings. If you build it because you like the design and it makes your city look good, it is ok. But this is not the reason why you are asking me, is it?
The HS is not a good great building at low level. Once you get higher though, with a level 80 arc you will be able to swap fps for profit, allowing you to level you great buildings insanely fast. Once you reach this point, the Hagia Sophia becomes worth it, only because instead of comparing level 10 stats, we are comparing level 50+ stats, and at that level the Hagia is worth it. Basically, unless your city is amazing, don't build the hagia.
I know a player in EastNagachFR with a level-60 atomium. He has many useless great buildings (voyager v1, lotus temple, gaia statue...) but also more than 700,000,000 points !!! :O
I think this new feature results in more spending of dollars for drawing down diamonds faster. Don't think this a feature since there is no major benefit compared to the regular game.
Wow! I am surprised how you got the remaining BP. I am kinda stuck at 1 BP ans almost sees like forever.. I wonder if there is a trick for 2 BP for 1 BP or its totally random! :)
Mohammed, If you plan on going above level 10 on the Arc you may wish to spend the time contributing to Arcs to get prints until you get the one you need instead of spending 2 prints trying to get the 1 print you need to construct. There is no guarentee and it could take a very long while doing it this way and takes away from prints you may wish to collect later for going above level 10. Or spend the FP on the final print.

First: This depends on your city. From your town hall, great buildings and event buildings you should collect 100+ Forge Points every day. If this prerequisite is not met, you should better wait with it. Second: This depends on your guild. If your guild is able to help you getting the required blueprints and future Era goods, then it is definitely not a mistake to build the Arc. If your guild is able to support you with 90% sponsors (these are players who already have an Arc on level 80) then you should not stop at level 10, but build it up to level 80. If the prerequisite is met, you will make one level every day. Be aware that building the Arc will slow down the speed of your journey through the ages. Not building the Arc allows you to make faster progress in the technology tree. This can also have advantages!

Can’t live without. Once. At 80, blueprints and honor badges, are free flowing. But you need an active guild with good active players.

simply build as many event buildings as possible and focus on those great buildings giving forge points every day.

I don't know what went wrong as I pre-planned the rush quests so I got a ton finished before stepping up to wheel and wow the initial spins got me 8 nest kits, and some other stuff however since gahhhh I've got less than 5 days to get 3 more nest kits! But thank you! I wouldn't be where I am with your guidance! Oh and about blue galaxy back when it was level 2 and 3 I'd get 2x two to three times every other day but As I moved it up I'm at 5 now and at best I get one 2x every few days, lol it doesn't quite make sense but I just thought it was funny! I have an arc at level 80 and let me tell you, getting blueprints for other great buildings is just so much easier, you can get like 10 blueprints completely for free
what strategy would you recomend to get it leveld? in my guild I recently set up a swap with 3 other low level arc owners where we alternate the top spots so that we all get the same reward. we are now first working to get all our arcs on the same level and then push through the levels together. we are still below lvl 10 so no unlocking of levels yet but I could see this might be a problem once we start reaching that place. what recomendations do you have to overcome this problem?
For low levels this is a good strategy as you get enough blueprints when your sponsored great buildings level up.
Latest at level 20 (with enough blueprints earlier) you should try to find 1.9 sponsors for the first or the first 2 ranks. Use the remaining sponsor ranks for your group to maintain a stable flow of blueprints

Even in my guild we have over a dozen members with an Arc over Level 80, and my guild isn't even in the top 20...
I contributed 2 forge points to a neighbours The Arc and it's level 85. I got nothing from doing this. I was the first to contrubute, too. It says +1480 Forge Points, +37594 Medals and +16 Blurprints. I got absolutely nothing. Please help me on this.
The reward is granted at the moment when that Arc completed that level.
It is important to be on one of the first contribution ranks then.
On a level 85 Arc it can happen that it might take very long until the owner starts to complete that level. If so he might want to attract other players contributing more than just 2 forge points even for rank 5.
Based on this there is no hope of receiving something for contributing so little. Sorry

you support other players with forge points and receive Arc blueprints as a bonus.
you motivate futire era buildings of other players and receive blueprints for it (2% chance)
Then you find someone who is willing to trade the required goods for your (maybe iron age) goods. Because that would be a bad deal for the seller of the goods, he will ask for some compensation, e g paying 500 forge points into his great buildings
Then you construct it.

I have a question, I am in the HMA and got my blueprints for the arc complete. I don't have the materials to build it, but might be able to get them for guild members. Is it wise to focus on leveling the arc this early. Or should I first focus on getting my attack bonus gb's to level 10. I am currently leveling gb's with attack bonus (Zeus, domof achen and cdm) they are around lvl 6.

Many would recommend to build the Arc as soon as possible.
My personal recommendation is to focus on the ferat buildings with attack bonus first. This has the huge advantage to be able to complete level 4 of the guild expedition every week and that is very beneficial.

ok... let me see if I get this right? if I find a few contributors with level 80, I will still somehow get the BP's to level my arc up, correct? They only way to get them is to contribute to other arcs. is that right? or am I missing something?
As long as your Arc is below level 30, it is a challenge to get enough blueprints.
With a higher Arc you will receive additional blueprints. The result is that you will have more than enough blueprints of nearly every great building if you own a high level Arc.
Therefore in lower levels you need to invest a huge percentage of your Forge points in other great buildings to receive enough blueprints. Later you simply concentrate on profitable investments and the blueprints will fly to you.
Forge Points is a Good reason to get it, and The goods.

200 Bronze Age goods for 100 Iron Age goods is called a fair trade. This works well in the market.
What I described in the video is a trade to get the arc goods which are from the future era. To motivate a player from future era or above you pay him Forge points

They need long, they are patient and they concentrate on that one goal.
Also: Without the competition of other high level arcs they can benefit very good from the bonus when supporting other great buildings and generate a lot of Forge points that way.
I see some people in the iron age with the arc and I wonder - how would they have the goods to make that since they are only in the iron age

ARC = sterioids for your game progress, its insane. U can get over Ten million medals and 200+ Blueprints for most GBs EASY with a big Arc. To good.

But each additional level requires more forge points than the one before. Above level 80 the contributor bonus is not growing as fast as the requested number of forge points. Also the effect of each additional level above 80 of the great building is extremely small.

I'm not a diamond buyer. I have 1500+ diamonds with hard effort and i'm currentely at the progressive era. Also, i have 5 blueprints of the arc and 4 blueprints of the rain forest project. Do you think it's worth it for me to spend some of my diamonds to buy the remaining blueprints of the Arc (which would cost me 800 diamonds) or do you think it would be more interesting for me to buy the remaining blueprints of the rain forest project (which would cost me 1000 diamonds) and then add friends from the future era and aid them with the RFP's bonus that increase my chance of getting a blueprint when i aid someone and thus, get the blueprints for the Arc and other GB's?
Generally I believe that using diamonds to buy expansions is the best investment.
In case you want to use them for a great building, I would never decide for the Rainforest Project. Even with a complete set of blueprints I wouldn’t build it. You will be very disappointed from it’s effect.
You normally motivate 50 players to get one blueprint print. With the Rainforest Project this gets an improvement of 80%, which means that you the get one blueprint for every 30 motivations. Using space and forge points for that effect?
In a direct comparison I would always decide for The Arc, not for the Rainforest Project.

Hagia Sophia provides happiness and forge points on a 7x6 space.
In lower ages the happiness seems to be good. But later you will recognise that you have many other possibilities to get enough happiness.
To receive forge points is never bad. But is it a good deal to receive 6 forge points every day after investing 2,950 forge points upfront?
It is not the worst great building in the game. But I believe that players building this develop slower than others concentrating on other buildings.
If you build it because you like the design and it makes your city look good, it is ok. But this is not the reason why you are asking me, is it?
The HS is not a good great building at low level. Once you get higher though, with a level 80 arc you will be able to swap fps for profit, allowing you to level you great buildings insanely fast. Once you reach this point, the Hagia Sophia becomes worth it, only because instead of comparing level 10 stats, we are comparing level 50+ stats, and at that level the Hagia is worth it. Basically, unless your city is amazing, don't build the hagia.

I know a player in EastNagachFR with a level-60 atomium. He has many useless great buildings (voyager v1, lotus temple, gaia statue...) but also more than 700,000,000 points !!! :O
I think this new feature results in more spending of dollars for drawing down diamonds faster. Don't think this a feature since there is no major benefit compared to the regular game.

Wow! I am surprised how you got the remaining BP. I am kinda stuck at 1 BP ans almost sees like forever.. I wonder if there is a trick for 2 BP for 1 BP or its totally random! :)

Mohammed, If you plan on going above level 10 on the Arc you may wish to spend the time contributing to Arcs to get prints until you get the one you need instead of spending 2 prints trying to get the 1 print you need to construct. There is no guarentee and it could take a very long while doing it this way and takes away from prints you may wish to collect later for going above level 10. Or spend the FP on the final print.

First: This depends on your city. From your town hall, great buildings and event buildings you should collect 100+ Forge Points every day. If this prerequisite is not met, you should better wait with it.
Second: This depends on your guild.
If your guild is able to help you getting the required blueprints and future Era goods, then it is definitely not a mistake to build the Arc.
If your guild is able to support you with 90% sponsors (these are players who already have an Arc on level 80) then you should not stop at level 10, but build it up to level 80. If the prerequisite is met, you will make one level every day.
Be aware that building the Arc will slow down the speed of your journey through the ages. Not building the Arc allows you to make faster progress in the technology tree. This can also have advantages!
