    Been eating overnight oats literally every breakfast for God knows how many years now and I never gonna quit.
    Good minimalist recipe tho, but I’d also add some protein powder, wheat bran and cinnamon for better nutrition value, greater texture and taste.

      @@howlong274 i guess youre asking bc you've seen all those "eat overnight oats to loose fat" articles etc. It really depends on what you are eating right now. If now your daily breakfast is a really high calorie breakfast (like regular pancakes/ sugary cereal/ bacon eggs and a lot of bread etc) swapping that for healthier, lower calorie options like overnight oats or porridge will help you loose fat. But its not like oats are a magical food that makes people lose fat, its just filling bc all the fiber and its overall quite healthy, so as long youre not overdoing it with the honey etc and the amount youre eating its a good, healthy food. Personally i swapped a lot of the sweet stuff i was eating for some of those "healthy" options like homemade oatmeal muffins/pancakes but still kept the amount low, i never used honey atc, just bananas to sweeten stuff, made some overal changes to healthier options in my diet, i lost a bit more than 30kg of fat, i had no problem keeping my "ideal" weight since then. Sorry for the long answer, i just gad the impression youre looking go loose fat and that information might be useful for you.

    • @rahafaleyna
      @rahafaleyna 3 роки тому +23

      The amount of each depends on what consistency u like ur oatmeal to be or the nutrition facts, but most of the recipes include 1/2 cup of oats with 1 cup of water/milk of choice(or half yougurt half milk), 1 tbsp of chia seeds, 1 tbsp of sweetner of choice, 1 tsp of flaxseed. You can also add a tsp of cinammon or 1 tbsp of coco powder, or 1tbsp of nut butter, or a handful of nuts/raisins/choco chips, or whatever u desire.
