This thing is a BEAST, but it's not for most people (because of the expense). But for the 5% of you that'll ball out on an engine like this, our hats are off to you👌 Plus, to get this much power in a package this small is pretty incredible.

I think you guys are missing the point.. if they wanted instant high HP numbers, yes, an LS swap would happen... I think it's more of a 'let's see what we can make out of this with our own fabrication and learn new skills doing it" kind of thing. Thats why I enjoy this channel.

Zoron Stillwater yep, that’s why it’s the most popular engine swap in the industry, right ? Guess what, prior to the ls, the go to motor was the smallblock chevy. But let me guess, you want some turbocharged 16 valve 4 holer to dump into your ma’s accord don’t you. Typical. Go enjoy your soy shake.

Brilliant. Go outside to clean so none the chemicals get on the garage floor. Time for a Safety Clean sponsorship. And the groove piston ring goes up? At ignition down stroke the ring catches and expands for maximum seal. Changing the rocker pivot point changes the stroke travel. Little longer travel means that little longer you get for intake and exhaust valve open time. More fuel in more boom. More exhaust out more room for boom. Lot less headache method over bigger valves modification. Hearing loss/damage is like radiation exposure. Not like scrape or cut that happens and heals. Hearing loss/damage stacks, and at the rate you guys are working it. About and 10-15 years the constant buzzing hiss will start. For those that have it bad and are being driven crazy by the sound of a train passing by 24/7. Operation for induced deftness only cure. FYI the sound that comes from compressed air being shot out a gun to clean away dust is the most damaging. Great episode would be getting a Db meter and seeing what every noise maker in the shop is doing.
War story. Was stripping my boots with rubbing alcohol while sitting on a bench. Elbowed the bottle and it fell and I tried to catch it. Wiff miss and bottle lands flat on it's bottom geyser firing nasty straight up. Alone and no water source around while blind scare was enough. Caught the military at the end of work safety and environmental awareness. No Uncle Sam, cigarette butts do not make good hearing protection.

When looking at different length push rods and actually testing with a tech tool on the head on the lift and duration of the cam whether it be a stock cam or not. Changing the length of the push rod can and usually will change your lift to the valve as well as duration.. just a helpful tip. Actually checking the lift to valve with say 4 different length pushrods will tell you if you need shorter then stock or longer then stock to get where you need to be. Kinda hard for me to explain without showing or testing for yourself..

einar they can barely jet a four stroke bike motor to the point it makes any power and you think they’d be capable of not only jetting a two stroke sled motor properly...not to mention, if “go powersports” does not sell it, they seem incapable of clutching and helix setups on cvt drivetrains.

i'll personally pass on 2-strokes.. especially with that lumpy a 212 getting nasty at 10k rpm.. only thing i'd see about doing is a pumped oil system on that crank/conrod, maybe even go fuel-injection and see if that can really turn that engine to 11 on the power/size ratio..

$1500 for 20 something hp? Not trying to hate but damn that is an absolutely horrible deal. I understand they are into these specific type of engines etc but wow I just don't get how this is a good deal for anyone. So many more options with way more power at a comparable size and weight for way less money.
