The fact that you changed your schelude from 2 videos per week into 1 video per week really shines. Better quality, more enjoyable to watch in my opinion. You guys have come a long way from reviewing carts and cars to actually owning your own place and building stuff from scratch. Really happy that you made this work! Keep it up and best of luck in the future aswel.
how when they did 2 vids it was more content and was better and easier to pay attention to this whole vid is dum
and it's clearly not just me who thinks this look at the views their vids from a couple months ago had 400k even 500k and theses new vid tops 170k this vid is 3 hour old and it only has 7,000
@@theLyzhendricks I agree I don't have time for an hour and a half upload when I have other UA-camrs to catch up on too
I agree
@@theLyzhendricks um have you heard of videos getting views over time? A few months ago is a long time to get more and more views. Also they did this for their own mental sake and so that they could honor the deal with Ike so that he is only part time these vids may be longer but they are better quality content and it makes them have less burnout. Remember they have been doing this for years
Great video. I really liked the side by side hot laps both to mix it up, and to see who was faster where. I wouldn’t eliminate the first person solo runs, but it’s a nice addition.
Always fun to tear into an engine to make some upgrades! Let's try this upload again! Lol
The video's don't get out there on Monday and Wednesday letting y'all know cause I be looking forward to watching the content I learn some things from and the other channels that do go kart and mini bike stuff
Loving the longer videos!! Always great content!! Keep it up guys!!
This Video was the same lame build ! in the history of cars and camera how many times you do that same thing over and over?? Lets see a build where you take a 670cc twin and put it on a trail bike that rips that track you have! that would be different and interesting to see ......
i think i sound harsh but i like the longer videos like mentioned and when videos are posted really doesn't matter its who watch's them.... i just like to see videos other then the 212cc style builds. seems like other you tubers are all building about the same and it be cool if c&c was different then the rest
I'm sorry i can't hear what you wrote here.
@@wolfy1395 oh no, you had to wait for free content? 😢
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, guys! We're taking steps to ensure deburring takes place post-production.
Very well made video!! I'm loving the increase in quality since dropping to one vid a week🤘
I really enjoyed the side by side laps as well as watching the engine being built and learning tech tips from Isaac. The length was no problem for me; I’ve always wanted to see this kind of episode, but didn’t know how to put it to words.
I have been watching since $50 go kart and I still enjoy every moment of watching your videos. This new chance to longer videos over more consistent has been amazing the quality has sky rocketed and you are able to get so much more valued information while still giving an amazing entertainment experience. Thank you John, Ike and Charles!
Thanks!!
@@CarsandCameras Agreed!!
You enjoyed EVERY minute of this video? Ive been watching almost as long, not that its a contest, but I fell asleep more than once in this video. This video was WAY too long and full of fluff/filler. Watching a couple guys bumbling around, guessing about torque specs for 45 minutes, is neither informative nor entertaining.
I hate the longer videos. I've been watching so long now this is one channel I haven't gotten tired of. It's always fun things to watch. 🎉
I really appreciate the longer format with more in depth explaining of what you are doing. Thank you guys keep up the great work
The longer videos are great because you guys go more in depth with the builds. I enjoyed the comparison of the engine before the mods and after. That really shows the improvement in performance.
but is so bad tho it boring to long send its a re-upload cause the edit sucked and they had to fix it
I agree love the longer videos and the side by side runs and your in depth build help me with my build keep up the good work 👍💪
@@theLyzhendricks people make mistakes mate. Not everyone is perfect. Stop being a asshole about this
@@theLyzhendricks Agreed, its not entertaining. Believe it or not, this is an entertainment channel. There are PLENTY of in depth tutorial style channels that do it way better. This was a serious step down in Cars&Cameras quality. A couple guys bumbling around guessing about torque specs is not informative nor entertaining. Know your role, stay in your lane and do it well.
Every time John suggests something, MAKE HIM DO IT.
I absolutely love the direction of the channel. Cars & Cameras will always be and has always been my favorite on UA-cam. This video is a little long but the content is awesome as usual. With great content and long videos means there is a middle ground. This will be the area where Cars & Cameras will shine more than it ever has before. I know you guys will find that perfect balance of "not to long or not to short". I gotta say the crew is awesome but special thanks to John for all the hard editing work and pushing this channel. Without that you have nothing. And to Ike and Charles I say keep up the superb on camera persona and tutorial knowledge. With all of you combined, the mini-bike and go-cart world can NEVER stop you. With all that said I am very proud of you all and will continue to follow this channel as my absolute favorite and I know it will only get better. I hope you show my comment in a future video. As a 13yr Army combat veteran, I know close brotherhood when i see it. Always hoping the best and love you all. Take care!
Be honest, how much of this video did you skip? I fell asleep the first time I tried to watch it. And the second time I only made it through to the end by skipping there terribad engine rebuild tutorial. A couple guys bumbling around guessing about torque specs is not informative nor entertaining.
I can say without a doubt I love the new format of one posting a week. I was a bit saddened that I would see fewer episodes but now I can say it was a good move by you guys. I love the longer videos and greater detail I think this was a huge win for you guys. Thanks for all the content!!
Great job guys! Love the triple screen that's awesome. Thank for the laughs! Loved the way y'all did this episode and keep having fun! 🔥🔥🔥
Trimming the throttle arm is a must. I built my mega motor with a HF 224 and the arm is longer on it and I hit it with my leg and the bike went left and I went right. I hit the ground and broke my right collar bone! since then I also moved the foot pegs out further and a little more forward. I,m an old fart and it makes it easier for me to ride! I'm 71 years young!
Damn, broken collar bone at 71 has got to be rough. Get well soon.
@@mmaaddict78 It was a year ago Feb. I have other complications that have slowed down the recover! But the Mega Motor is a blast to play on! best investment I have made in a long time!
No rear suspension at 71?!?! Wow! I sold my 1970 ct90 to a man your age he test rode it with a foot brace on! He's gonna love that bike I sure miss it
@@jhaedtler Hope I can still enjoy riding at your age. Wish you the best of health.
Awesome work as always guys 🙌 I dig the longer format too 👌👌
Love the new format, the three in one picture effect works really well. Keep it up guys.
I loved the length of this video. It made up for the once a week because I have my alerts on and watched it every day it came on. An hour long video was great and it was nice not having to wait for a second part of a video! Love yalls content!
The new format is much better - obviously this particular video is much much longer than the original 2x per week. But even the first couple weeks that were in the 40ish min range were a real nice change of pace. Overall better content - better editing - and it feels like you guys were able to commit further and "go the extra mile" on the project rather than quickly slapping that last bit together so its running and driving for the end of the episode! I vote this to keep this new format!!
I definitely like the longer videos. Keep them coming!
I agree with most of the comments. The new format is very good. You guys are checking all the boxes. Excellent job!!!!
I think with one video a week it being between 45 minutes till like an hour and a half is a really good idea it gives you more time to go in depth about the build process and the nitty gritty details and it gives you more time to just goof off and do funny content like your mixologist bit and I would love to see more content like this that's more educational and more humorous and all around just filled with more personality but at the end of the day I understand if this is too much work and regardless if you go down this path or not I will still continue to watch and enjoy the videos and I wish everyone at CarsandCameras the best of luck going forward
I'm 36 and I'm just got my first mini bike and this channel is such a good reference for me. And the videos are amazing.
These so called VIDEOS are turning into MOVIES……AND I FREAKIN LOVE IT!!!! These over an hour long movies are what’s up cars and cameras keep it up!!!!! Love from AR
how do u want to sit their and watch this for an hour and a half is terrible the editing has gone bad since the longer uploads and its harder to pay attention to

@@johnathantaylor2059 nah this vid pissed me off so now I'm going to every dum comment I see and explaining y it's dum I've ben watching for 6 or 7 yrs their vid can be good but their ruining their channel with what their doing
Your doing really well with new format. and there was nothing wrong with the length of the video.
Keep up the good work.
I love watching you here in the UK.
Loven the larger time taken to show and explain the details, the small stuff. Mfg instructions are not so 1st. time users complete. I've been watching you from way back. Adding some real people laughing is even so real also. Thanks for sharing.
I love you guys. I am 52 years old. Back in the day the old mini bikes. Wasn't too much to modify except for what we come up with. Today I still love mini bikes and I love to ride the hell out of them. I definitely like the long content. I rather watch a 20-minute to a half an hour video. Then a 10-minute video. That's what she said. Lol. You guys rock. And it's getting me motivated to build something ridiculous. Thank you once again for the great content. And I just want to say because you guys are crazy and you build some wild things and you take it to the max. May the Lord's blessing be upon you guys. And that he always takes you in his care.
Now that the audio is fix, Just about the perfect episode. I like the length, particularly only getting one video a week now. The instructional aspect was nice, If I ever do engine work I'll use this as a reference. Not all videos need to include instructional aspects but every so often is nice. The 3 camera view of the runs was fun. I could use more footage of you riding though, really that's one of the best parts. Seeing you guys using and enjoying your builds.
this comment pisses me off it so backwards to what i think about this vid this has got to be one of the worst vids I've need on cars and cameras and I've Ben here since they where building the Rat rod wagon years ago
@@theLyzhendricks youtube isn't the same as it was a few years ago. You can't just make small videos anymore. People like watching videos that a better quality and even longer then normal. This video was like a step by step video to show people who might be thinking of doing this power mod them selves. I for one learned alot watching this. If this video is not your cup off tea then bugger off and stop commenting on everyone else's comments. Not everyone has the same taste of videos as you do mate.
The audio was HORRIBLE, still. So much static.
@@lachlanjay1144 Except they arent a tutorial channel. This is an entertainment channel. There are lots of channels that do the tutorials MUCH better. Watching a couple guys bumbling around for 45 minutes GUESSING at torque specs and constantly second guessing/correcting each other is not an informative tutorial. As for telling people to bugger off, some of us have been watching this channel for years and are not happy with the quality and changes recently. How else are we to let our voices be known? You can already see from the view metrics this channel is hurting badly from switching formats. They went from several hundred thousand views per week to less than 90k on this video. This is all with over 1 million subscribers. This should tell you that the vast majority, 90+ percent of their subscribers dont like the new content.
I really liked the in depth content here. Once you showed all the tools laid out that you'd be using or that someone needed to do this work I knew this was going to be a high quality video. I know my 9 year old son would love to watch this video and even more do do a mini bike build like this. This video is definitely going in my saved videos list for future viewing.
I think the long form content is nice once in a while, but don't over extend yourself to produce it regularly, your shorter form stuff is also very enjoyable.
I liked everything about the episode! I just had to watch it in two sittings. Keep it up guys!

@@theLyzhendricks oh, okay. I've been watching from the beginning and I'm good with the new style. I just had to split it up because of .y job and having 5 kids. To each their own I guess.
Love vid guys. Great detail keep up the hard work. I don’t mind the long vid, I’ll watch every minute of it!
An old engine builders trick taught to me back late 70s is to always take a new camshaft and very carefully remove the sharp edges using a sander, grinder or file to a slight bevel otherwise the machined edges often cut into the lifters or pushrod tappets causing premature wear which also accelerates the camshafts wear as the fine metal particles get between the hard facing of the shafts and lifters or tappets or valves depending on which type engine one has... Go slow and carefully until you have the slightest chamfer on BOTH sides and 360 degrees around each lobe.. Same goes for the cut or ground ends on rings, barely sand the ends that you've filed for proper ring clearance/gap before installing,AND ALWAYS use assembly lube or cam break in lube on every single rotating part everywhere throughout the engine.. Including valve stems, valve stem seals, all bearings, nothing installs dry...
This was top notch. The length was great an very detailed. Loved that you followed a whole build and testing.
I havnt laughed so hard since some of the original videos!!! I was sceptical on the longer videos but the more I depth information and the funny clips are making the videos even better to watch!
Great video, great timing/detail. Thank you.
Going into all the little details was great to watch, thanks guys!
First long video I've seen in awhile. Great job yin's guys keep up the great work
I just wanna thank you guys for the inspiration over the years, I now own 3 Go karts, I have a vintage manco 400-11, a 1980 cal-kart intruder and just recently bought a yerf dog 3203 from a friend of mine for $160, which I plan on putting my 2020 tillotson 212R mkII engine on, that has a billet rod, gps mikuni vm22 carb and 18lb valve springs. I got my intruder up to 50 mph with a 60 tooth sprocket in it with that engine and just bought a .265 fire cam from gopowersports that I will be installing soon. Can't wait to see what this engine will do in the yerf dog after the upgrades and always looking forward to all your content, you guys rock!
I miss the twice a week but I was happy to see the longer video after being really sad when it was not up on Wednesday night when I tried searching for it! I’m really looking forward to more on the two rails! 👍
I liked the 3 video at the same time, we could see how close you race, not that we didn’t knew it already, and who was gaining ground during the track.
You made a longer video ok, but you made pleasant to see.
Keep the good videos coming.
I’ll be fine 👍
Thank you for filming this in 30fps instead of 60fps. Looks so much more cinematic!!! Hate hate hate 60fps except for slow no things!

I really like the long format, and the heads up racing view was awesome!
Talking of wide open throttle…
When we were kids we used to help out my uncle with his stall at motorcycle shows and my cousin took his minibike to ride around, after some tinkering to get it started he got it running but it was stuck WOT and my cousin (around 7-8yr old) was heading for a row of very expensive vintage bikes!!!
At the last second my uncle managed to grab the handle bars and yeet the bike up in the air and avert a disaster. Good times 👍🏼
Yes the longer video IS much liked and what c&c needs to take the game to thr next level.... keep up the great work
Loved the content, loved the details I was able to sit an pack all my orders while watching this episode keep up the great work
I like everything about this episode I feel like not every episode should be this long but for something like this where we don’t see the minibike very often it’s perfect
Loving the longer video and once per week. Shout out to the boys from Nz man Love this channel!!!
The new format is awesome well done 👍
1 hour 25 minutes. You love to see it.
Running an experiment to see how longer form content performs... Personally I enjoy being able to go into such deep detail in the engine build.
@@CarsandCameras it's bad really bad don't do it
For someone who hasn't worked on a lot of engines this video is perfect. Just like looking over your shoulders as you explain what your doing. The video length was necessary to explain everything. The cocktail oil mix was funny. Maybe It would be possible to have the Mixologist stop by again with tips and tricks. May I suggest that you purchase Issac his personal gurney so he has an in house recovery place. Maybe better if it was mounted on a dedicated vehicle so he could be recovered more easily from the crash location. Wonderful video as always. Thank you.
I did this build, going to break it in soon when I have the time. I did the sprocket and lever delete for the governor, video helped with the process as Ive never done this before.
Great job guys love the comparisons.
Content is awesome as normal!

Good job guys, love the effort!
I think it was pretty cool throwing in the 3 camera view. Been watching for a few years now. I don't even have favorite person all 3 of yall are awesome on what yall do.
The video was great! It's definitely noticeable that you guys have more time to put into making one higher quality video every week. I do enjoy the 20-25 minute videos a little more though. Just a personal preference as I don't always have too much time to sit down and watch a long video. Nonetheless, great job!!!
Always enjoy your stuff guys.

Once a week uploads are awesome and the longer videos are nice too. Great job guys👍🏻
ni their not they suck admit it the whole vid was boring
Me personally I like the longer videos because they feel less rushed and you get to see more bloopers and funny parts which is great. I feel more intrigued about each video. The 3 way screens and the editing is amazing.
But they rushed themselves on the project because it seems like they never prepare much and they half @$$ a lot of things. There is a reason the channel hasn't grown and is stuck at a million subscribers and they get a 10th of it in views. I use to love this channel but I don't like hacky stuff either. Do it right or don't do it.
You know this video was recorded weeks ago, well before they changed the format to once per week. Any feeling you get of them being "less rushed" is in your head. They have been posting videos more than a month after record time for over a year now.
@@ralphhondaman True, they didnt know what they were doing. Atleast thats the way it came across. Which is great in their short format of three guys tooling around schtick. Now with a longer format and trying to be a tutorial, all the while, still not knowing any details, second guessing each other every second of the way, heck they guessed on the torque specs. How is that an informative experience?
