Super excited for my first ever yarn advent this year! I'm looking forward to knitting on my advent project while watching Vlogmas every day
So excited for Christmas knitting! I started knitting this past January so this is my first holiday knitting season!
An apiarist is a beekeeper, hence the honeycomb pattern. It's beautiful!
I love when you crochet the granny squares each year. The colors are always so awesome! Can't wait to see the cowl and socks.
I appreciate how you're trying to keep your plans realistic for the season. I found this video really helpful!
I love when a new video comes out! Got to enjoy some knitting and make plans for the rest of my november/december knitting while watching :)
I love how many people are finishing WIPs for the end of the year! I’m doing the same and I feel so accomplished.
This is all great!!! I’m so excited to see all the granny squares omg
So exciting! Your advent plan sounds so fun! This is the first year my eyes have been opened to advent knitting, I’m still trying to wrap my mind around it!
This past weekend I had to take the time to get my projects planned out. It does feel good!
I found this video so useful. I’m a perfectionist and get really stressed when my wips are out of control. I find it really hard to give myself permission to hybernate projects for a while if I am fed up of working on them. I’m planning on a cowl for my advent this year. Thanks for another great video.
I can't believe how much you get done. Inspiring!
The last time you did a break down of your knitting goals I decided to implement the same process. It has been working great for getting the holidays makes done. X amount of rows on such and such each day times the amount of projects. It really helps to break it all up. Love seeing your ideas for Advent.
I was unreasonably happy when I saw this. I even waited for the countdown on Instagram and watched the premiere. It’s crazy. Even after watching two times it does not disappoint at all! Love this style of videos and especially anything Christmas planning❤️
Congratulations! You’re one of our pattern winners! Please an email to Crystal at crystalteaknits@gmail.com with the subject “Pattern Winner” to let her know you won!
I’ve started my first sweater this Holliday season thank you for showing us how you get organized with your phone notes.
Thank you for the Advent ideas. I ordered my first two kits this year and needed the ideas!
Love your vlogs. Just starting to learn to knit and didn't even know advent knitting was a thing! So cool!!!
Christmas knitting is so fun! Thanks so much for all you do. I love your podcasts!
I totally understand about being in a funk. I get that way also when I have too much on my plate and then I need to prioritize my knitting again.
I love the advent knit you're planning to cast on. 😍 Might cast one on myself to!
Thank you for the advent suggestions! This is my first year to have a yarn advent and it’s been so hard to find the right pattern. Love the scrappy advent sweater idea!
The Seaglass tea caught my eye when it was released. SO pretty!
love that designers are making special advent projects... i dont think i have the brain space to come up with anything now that i am finishing off so many gifts. tks.
I really enjoyed seeing how you plan out your projects. I hadn’t thought about using my phone’s notes app! Thanks for sharing!
Omg I cannot wait to advent knit! Thank you so much for this video. It’s so motivating to plan my projects :)
You totally have me motivated to get organized with my projects now Natalie! Thank you!❤️
Wow are you organized in your planning!! I’ve never done a yarn advent before… hoping to order one for next year!! Seems like such fun!!
Love the idea of making a schedule. I really should give it a try since I have so many things I want to knit and not enough hours in the day! Thanks for the inspiration, Natalie!
I loved this video! So nice to see how you plan your knitting. And lovely ti see the patterns on Ravelry.
I love watching all your podcasts. It brings happiness to my day.
This is my first year with a yarn advent and I'm so excited! I am waffling between knitting a little each day on it or waiting until I have opened all the yarn... We shall see how much time I have! It is entirely dependent on my finishing my gift knitting (3 pairs of socks left to go...) this month... Not sure that is happening!! Thank you for sharing your process!
This is my first year doing advent, I'm so happy I can't wait to see what comes in the mail ☺
Wow that is so much knitting! I just pulled out my Christmas stockings I knit last advent to weave in ends, block, and add in our names before putting them up next week!
I also have 2 advents this year, I'm doing the dust of snow wrap and the luminaria shawl. I am SO excited!!
Hi Natalie, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for taking us along on your process and for sharing these talented designers. I'm looking forward to seing your advent make.
Thank you SO much for sharing your planning process. Happy knitting!!
It was great to see how you planned out your knitting projects for the Christmas season! I can't wait to start knitting with some of my advent calendar yarns (maybe next year, when I have finished opening my calendars for this year and I can see what I have to work with)
Thanks for sharing your planning process. I have 2 advents to knit up in December and will be looking at those designers.
This was so helpful! I’m so excited for sockmas and my first holiday advent!!!
I got my very first advent this year I'm so excited to see it, I can't wait!
I may have to set up a schedule for my crochet and knitting like you did because I have been very overwhelmed.
Thanks for showing me the notes app. I am currently creating a knitting plan for November/December. Especially since I am participating in SOOO many KALs (DVD sock of the month, Cozy up knits Hat KAL, 2021 Fall sock challenge, Marly Bird's Turkey trot MKAL, and Sockmas) Wow just typing all of that has made me feel overwhelmed!
Fantastic video!! You are so fun to watch and so inspiring. I love the suggestions. Thank you so much! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you so much for sharing. I’m new to Ravelry. You have been so helpful!!! I’m so looking forward to sockmas!!!
Hi Natalie! I love watching how you plan things out especially the sweater day by day!! It definitely makes a big project like a sweater seem more doable to get it done! I started my first sweater and it is 2/3rds complete, and I really want to finish it, so I might make out a plan like yours!
I just started knitting this year, so I did not buy and advents this year, but they look like so much fun! I will definitely partake next year!!
I have tagged so many advent pattern ideas in my Ravelry favorites! The Stripe Study shawl is a fav. Also the unicorn stripes scarf (which I would graft to make a long cowl). The Wrapdown shawl also looks amazing - especially for a rainbow fade!
I’m so excited for sockmas 2021 to start - I’ve got my yarn wound, pattern picked out and ready to go. Can’t wait!
Can’t wait for my first yarn advent and have been looking for ideas thank you!!
The moment you said that you might want to do a garment from the rainbow advent, the Sea Glass Tee came to mind. I really hope you do it, I'd love to see it! How fun! Enjoy.
Good luck with all your knitting. I'm feeling the same stress with my many wips and the Christmas knitting advent coming up soon!
Can't wait! This year is my first yard advent
so so looking forward to advent knitting and still on the fence about which patterns to do!
Yes I think the Sea Glass tee would be perfect for an advent make. I look forward to seeing your progress if you decide on it xx
So excited for my first advent this year. I love the idea of the granny squares for them. And crystal tea knits is an amazing designer
What great designs for advent, which is good as I have my first advent this year yay. Thank you for the inspiration Natalie xx
Congratulations! You’re one of our pattern winners! Please an email to Crystal at crystalteaknits@gmail.com with the subject “Pattern Winner” to let her know you won!
I love the ideas you shared in this video I’m excited for advent knitting season too!
I taught myself to knit at the beginning of the pandemic. I enjoy your videos! I will be starting to work on Christmas gifts later this week.
Thanks so much for the advent suggestions! I’ve been struggling to think of patterns to go with them. I got two advents as well, and since I don’t have too much knitting time, I already started opening the Yarncafecreations one 🤫😬 and I’m doing Stephen West’s painting honey combs shawl with it. Love that future pattern you showed from Crystal
Thank you very much for showing the different options for a yarn advent set. This is the first year that I have purchased a few advent kits and I wasn’t sure what to do with them. I am looking forward to mini skein surprise colors. 🧶😊🎄🎁💝
In addition, your organizational tips for project management are very helpful!
Thanks for the inspiration to get my knitting organized, again. Now to make my list and then my plan.
Love the advent scrappy designs, the shawl pattern looks gorgeous and the socks as well.
Loved seeing your advent project ideas! I plan to do Sockmas too! I can’t afford an advent kit, but I do have some minis in my stash and with some scraps, I hope to be able to put those together to make something advent-like.
What a great video-so many designs, yarns, and planning ideas!
I have no idea what I’m doing with my very first Advent, but I’ll figure it out next week!! I’m so excited though. Thanks for all the inspirations!!
I love the Sea Glass Tee! Excited to see how yours turns out. :)
Loving your site and all your encouragement for knitting and crochet.
I love the Sea Glass tee! I can't wait to see how it looks with your advent yarns!
So many great ideas thanks for kicking off our planning for the rest of 2021. 🧶🥳
Love Wool and Pine’s designs! Good choice. Need to get my end of the year project list in order. 😊
I definitely need more advent patterns!
Love your lists. goals to be as organised and motivated as you. As always so enjoyable to watch and knit along with.
I love watching you plan your projects!
Thank you so much for sharing your knitting organization with all of us. I have 2 sweater tests going (one just needs a sleeve) and 2 other gift knits that I want to complete before Christmas and this is my very first year of advents - I have a 24 stripe sock yarn and an advent, so I really want to join in the advent fun. I mapped things out after watching this video and it’s doable if I knit like the wind.
Natalie, you always get me organized! I also have felt overwhelmed this month with everything I have on my needles and what I still want to get done. I love the MKAL but I haven’t finished yet. I also want to do advent knitting in December so need to clean up my wips!
Happy Knitting 🎄🧶
My first ever advent yarn set has arrived! I’m so excited. Last year I watched you all through Advent. I love the Lacy Advent Cowl by Crystal Tea Knits! It would be perfect for a gift for someone.
Love the ideas for advent projects! Thank you!
All this christmas knitting planning is getting me excited ! But also nervous because I've also overcommitted on my holiday knits 🙈
Thanks for the inspiration to review my wips and see what can be hibernating and what needs to be done
So excited for sockmas! Just waiting on my Castle by Day yarn to get here! 😊🌲🎅
I've also ordered two advent calendars this year and I will be concentrating on selfish knitting during December. Thanks for all the links to designers who have advent projects. I really like Helen Stewart's Land of Sweets cowl.
The cowl that you are making is beautiful, and I am totally copying you. I have an MCN blend that has been in my stash for years because I feel, is too precious to turn into socks. This is a great solution. I also love the idea of knitting plans. I tried that this year and was a little too ambitious. I know what I will change for next year. Thanks for such a great video and awesome suggestions.
so happy to learn about all the advent ideas!
You’re so organized!! So inspiring, so I decided to be a monogamous knitter until November 26 and see if I can finish my shawlography…yes I’m still working on it😅 and refuse to give up, got my yarn for the socks castle by the day, I can’t wait
I really love your plan! You have inspired me to make one as well. I have only a few (I think!) WIPs, but I would love to have them completely before January.
Excited to see how your advent projects go! I have an advent I still need to plan for, and I really want to make a garment too! I haven't picked a pattern yet though. I like your choice in garment!
Can’t wait to see your rainbow seaglass tee! You are an awesome planner 💪🏻 💫
So excited moo start my Advent knitting! I really enjoyed this segment. It was very interesting and helpful!
Congratulations! You’re one of our pattern winners! Please an email to Crystal at crystalteaknits@gmail.com with the subject “Pattern Winner” to let her know you won!
So many wonderful ideas! I too am eager to work on the Sea Glass T!
So excited to see your Seaglass Tee! I'm only making two gifts this year, so I've got one down and one more to go!
Great suggestion for yarn advent ideas. Just had hand surgery, but excited to get back knitting soon
I love when you do these types of videos! I am a planner at heart!! I want to try the Sea Glass Tee too so I am excited to see what you think of it!
Love your amazing plan. Good job Natalie.
I love your granny square blanket. I think I'll do that with my advent this year. Easy and pretty.
So many fantastic advent knitting ideas!!
OMG ! So great ideas for Advents! 😍 Really tempted to cast on the Sea Glass Tee as well…🤔
This motivates me to start organizing my WIPs! I find myself wanting to cast on everything around this time of the year so it’ll help me get that under control 😅
Love the planning video! I still need to pick something to knit and commit.
You’re so organized! I bought the Sea glass tee pattern in the summer and haven’t gotten to it yet 😬.
I just downloaded Apiarist. I think it’ll be a great gift knit.
I can't wait to see your Advent tee!! I have been curious about that pattern.
The rainbow Tee will be adorable ! Can't wait to see it.
I love the Advent Calendar idea. So many lovely suggestions.
I have several projects that I need to finish before Christmas. Tik tok, time is flying by.
Love your videos.
I've been trying to plan my advent knitting too! First I have to finish last year's advent project, my Habitation Throw!
