You will LOVE the weekender light. I basically made this pattern for Rhinebeck 2019 (I used math and the original Weekender to make a fingering weight version in the loveliest goldenrod color) and I wore it often throughout the fall and spring seasons.

I started All of the Lights last winter when it came out. It is a beast! I don’t think I am even half done, I am hoping to go back to it this winter and finish it...

I really want to get into sweater knitting. My very first one is sitting in a bag for like 2 years and need some arms. But somehow I don't feel like that and haven't the yarn ready to start freshly new.
Therefore I stick with my shawls, cowls and socks I planed, but wish everyone a fun makealong. Hope it's productive as well.

@@KnittyNatty Ahhhh, thank you. Wait for some yarn to test out new fibers and get better at fair ilse. So it should be a mixture as you may create during fall :D
Great idea to plan ahead and have goals each month. I have cardigans and sweaters to make for fall. To get organized I need project bags and add to my WIP bin lol 😂. I’m currently addicted to making socks but I also like having different projects to do during the month. Can’t wait to join you in this journey

Ironically enough I am going to be casting on the Like A Cloud Sweater soon because I've been inspired by yours and how much you wear it -- in Texas winter of course! I love my Weekender Light! I also love the two regular Weekenders I knit and the third I have yarn balled up for. I've got a few WIPs I need to finish first.

Ok, you have totally inspired me to finally cast on my Weekender that I've been planning for about a year now as part of this MAL! I have the Knit Picks Swish Worsted in Squirrel Heather in stash for it, and your yarn has totally re-inspired me! I guess I'd better get swatching!

I definitely plan to join in on the MAL. Thank you so much for including WIP's. I have a sweater on the needles for my daughter that I started at the end of June - it is the Fiona sweater and is all in cotton, so more a fall than winter for where we live. She is 12 and has been begging for me to finish it, lol. This may be the push I need to get it taken care of :)
I also have a sweater of my own on the needles (languishing-ish) that I could definitely use to put some work into. So when I get my daughter's sweater done I may move on to mine :)
Oh my golly that silvery grey yarn for the Nèvè sweater will be so divine. I was thinking you could use a light fingering or lace weight yarn combined with your grey for the rows that have the bobbles. They would look like little drops of snow ❄️ That would look so beautiful 😍 😍😍

Love the colors of yarn. Yes, variegated yarn sweaters are not everyone's cup of tea, but that Miss Babs will be super pretty because it's a subtle variegation. That silver will be a beautiful Christmas sweater. All I could think of when I saw it was Silver Bells or Silver and Gold. Can't wait to start this MAL, but I'll have to get a few items off the needles, first. I have a few sweater quantities, but not a lot. Will children's garments count?
I would love to join you, but my fall stash reducing plan is to finish off seven shawls that are currently on the needles. I definitely have yarn for sweaters and so want to cast them on-but-I need to clear my needles and my head before starting anything new. I will be watching your videos and using them as inspiration to finish my projects! Thanks 🌻

I keep a notebook as well for my projects and plan things out loosely. Once a pattern and yarn pairing is decided on, they get assigned a project bag. Some times things come back out of the bag and get assigned to other projects. Totally make based on my mood.
As far as garments go, currently I have yarn assigned to a project bag for Tamy Gore’s Speckles and Spice sweater! Haven’t started yet because wanted to finish up a couple other WIPs first but I’m no monogamous knitter so it’s just a matter of time before I cast on! lol
I’ll also be participating in Joji’s KAL that goes from September 1st-November 30th and plan on knitting the Pebbles Tunic and the Super Simple Summer Sweater but I’m still figuring out my yarns for those.

I feel kinda left out as I don't knit/crochet any of my garments. But I am working on a knitted backpack right now and I have a baby blanket wip. I wish that I could join in, but again, I just don't work garments, as I would never finish them.
Hey. It's hard to plan for fall. I was supposed to be in Nepal from September on but it doesn't look good. Now I have no plans at all. So joining your Kal sounds fun. I plan on Jojis Linen top soon also for her fall Kal. There is way too many plans and projects in my queue on ravelry. Have a great day.

I have one sweater currently on the needles, but had also hoped to start another...this is great inspiration! Also, I noticed you have the book Knitting Comfortable on your bookshelf. Is that book worth the hefty price tag? I was considering purchasing but had not decided yet.
Can we knit anything as longest it has sleeves and shorts sleeves or is only sweaters
I have been wanting to make a linen tee, but would have to buy yarn. I *think* I already have enough of one yarn to make a mama vertebrae, it is right on the edge of not enough. Decisions decisions... 🤔
