Love this video format. Hope you consider making a video showing how you keep your yarns straight and how you carry each one along, any tips would be appreciated for the knitters out here that are new to this concept. Thanks and have a great vacation!
Can’t wait to see how your project progresses. The colors are gorgeous. I think longer will be pretty too. You are so organized. I’ll be sure to keep watching. This was fun having you talk over the recording, and of course, I’m expecting a cameo from Toaster.
I loved this video. I love how you swatched to figure out all the colors. I have a project that I want to do with several yarns, and really need to take the time to swatch like this to see how the colors work together. Enjoy your vacation. What beautiful happy yarns you will be working with.
LOVE this style of video! This was really fun to watch. I was recently shopping on Knit Picks, and I noticed in their Katrinkles line, they have cast on counting stitch markers that are numbered, and I definitely added them to my wishlist. Like you, I always use stitch markers when I'm casting on a lot of stitches, so the numbered ones would be amazing to have!
I loved this so much! I feel like I try to rush my cast ons in one sitting. After watching this video, I realize it’d be fun to try a slow gradual cast on :)
Such a relaxing video, I really enjoyed it! Brilliant idea to make a new flote tote. I love that you’re combining crocheting and knitting in one project.
Great video. I love every style you put out. You remind so much of my daughter in law. You’re both just sweet beautiful souls. Safe travels and enjoy your trip and time together and away. Much deserved from all hard work you both put in. FYI I’m the sock week eye rolling convert and just finished the heel turn on my first sock! Can’t wait for sock week 2024.
This was so lovely to watch after a long day, it really helped me relax. And of course I was knitting while watching. I loved the idea of making a dedicated project bag, that was so creative and inspiring!
Hi Natalie. Loved how this video was so relaxing. Great to see you all having a nice break. I love that you made a tote bag just for your new project. Love the colours of the tea shirt you are creating. I hope you all have a great vacation.
Dear Natalie, Such a fun and relaxing video! Love that you took us along on your project prep. Your new and creative, hybrid Float Tote idea is awesome!! Take Care and have a fantastic, well-deserved vacation! Best Always ~ Lori~ 🧶🐕🏖
What a great idea for a mini set. I have quite a few minis sets of 10-12 minis that I don't really want to split them up but they also wouldn't be big enough to be a blanket on their own so a stripey t-shirt is a great idea. I love your scrappy float tote as well!! I have been making crochet "bucket" style baskets out of scraps to hold my leftovers. It's a great project for magic knot balls.
This is such a cool video! I loved it. Also I love love love when people combine knitting and crochet in a single project, I don't think it happens enough, so I thouight your bag idea was genius! Defintely trying that in future.
This was so much fun …….. I hope you got your new fabulous new project bag finished before you went on holiday …….have a great time ……you certainly deserve it! 🎉🎉🎉
Love this format, and also the new yarn colors. Please tell me about measuring your cast on yarn on your arm. I have never seen that. What is the formula? Safe travels and happy vacaation!
The pink bag is so pretty! Mom time is very important and life changes so much but our Moms' are a constant. The colors for the shirt are absolutely beautiful. Does blocking the swatch effect the final product due to yarn shrinkage? Or does that yarn not shrink like cotton? I am so not familiar with anything not acrylic, just now getting into fingering weight socks and am on pair number 6 but only pair number 2 for knitting. The only garment experience is knitting hats, scarves and now socks. Wait, you can combine crochet and knit? Love it! Awesome video! It felt like we sat down and worked on our projects together. Have a great vacation!
Awww love that! Blocking a swatch tells you a lot about how your final product will behave! So best practice is to measure a swatch before and after blocking and note any changes, because the same thing will happen in your final piece. Since I know I will wash my garment, it’s better for me to base my gauge off of a blocked swatch.
