    I love seeing how you guys manage to button up this chaotic monster up and get it closer and closer to the point where it just consistently works so you don’t have to stop testing due to those sudden unexpected problems that you used to get in its earlier stages. I cant wait for the day that you can just confidently rip that thing around a track, full power no holding back, without issue.

      Just try to imagine rob driving this 10 years from now . .. I can't , totally uncharted waters. Neck n neck with Hoonicorn when not done and untested beyond dynasty beginning . Now is just the beginning . Then 6 rotor . ..

    • @Patrick-zr8tv
      @Patrick-zr8tv Рік тому +2

      @@Joshinarounddaily the hoonicorn is great and all but when the 4 rotor gets reliable it's going to smoke it capability wise. The hoonicorn is a show car meant to entertain, and it does that perfectly. It's an awesome car and it does awesome stunts.
      The 4 rotor, however, is just not the same thing. It's extreme engineering of an rx7 to go as stupidly fast as possible around a track. If you get a good driver behind the wheel of the RX7 the hoonicorn wouldn't stand a chance. Doesn't have the traction or the power to hold a candle to it, which makes sense. It's designed for skids not for speed.
      Edit: I wrote another comment below clarifying in more detail what I meant here since people seem to be upset with me calling the hoonicorn a "show car".

    • @joealex65
      @joealex65 Рік тому +21

      @@Patrick-zr8tv I can tell you the Hoonicorn is not "just a show car", there is some real intense engineering behind that thing and it's just insane, calling it a "show car" is a massive insult and is something many people will never say, the Hoonicorn was built to do basically anything and be good at it and it's kinda the same purpose Rob is giving to the 4 Rotor.

    Rob, first of all I wanted to commend you on how far the 4 rotor has come. But this is really important, you NEED heat shielding between the wheel and the exhaust. You don't just have to worry about ambient heat from there, at these exhaust temps you also are playing around with infrared radiation directly heating up the wheel and tire. Sustained for too long, you will 100% blow that tire up when it's heating up from not just the road but also directly on the sidewall.

    SMILES ALL DAY LONG. Such and epic car.
    Takes me back to when other people were working on this and I thought, dam, Rob...work on this yourself. And you did, and it's so much better.
