Excellent teaching, Justin. I was able to find sounds in my voice quickly with your methods. Time to practise! Gonna make stupid noises and annoy my neighbours!

I watched so many videos that can't really explain how it works and I just ended up hurting myself. But after this one, I feel no pain what so ever. Thank you so much! And keep up the good work. ❤

08:00 Bro, holy shit. I've been trying to do fry screams for years now. Thanks to that explanation and demonstration I just did one lying on the freaking couch. Yes, it sounded a bit weak but it was a fry scream.
Finally someone said the thing about the volume of fry screaming. I've been reading a lot of comments about how fry screams are supposed to be "talking volume" and it always sounded odd to me.
Dude. Thank you. Thankkkkkkkk you! For my entire life I've always just clean-harmonized with my favorite bands and, funny enough, I just watched the documentary where Will Ramos is with Elizabeth from The Charismatic Voice and they're doing all the imaging of his vocal chords. Anyway, so, because of that UA-cam put this video in my feed and NOW I FINALLY feel comfortable trying to find my fry scream so I can eventually sing along with my favorite songs instead of just singing the clean version! So far I've never seen anyone give this helpful and real advice for how to practice. It's usually just "wanna learn how to do this? So, I'm going to go and add some Hungry Lights tracks to my driving playlist (bc HOW ON EARTH have I never heard of you before!?), peruse the rest of your videos, and do some breath support practice. Thanks again!

For me, favorite screamer, and also favorite singer.
This guy is amazing and there should be more teachers of the subject following his method-style of teaching

So this is what Krillan is up to these days! - awesome tutorial
This is the first fry video where ive understood best and actually started breaking in to results. What im starting to hit feels correct. I know what im doing on the drive to work tomorrow.
This is the greatest tutorial/instructional video on metal vocals on UA-cam. Thorough processes and how to do each step, concise recap on what to do so you don’t feel overwhelmed by all the information. And kept it even more entertaining with editing and humor. Subscribed and I am definitely buying the $20 course on Patreon. More than deserved. Thanks for everything you are doing for the metal community and aspiring vocalists, brother. 🤘🏼
I know I'm really late to this video, but you are awesome, great mix of comedy and information. Happy to have found this
Wow, this tutorial got me to get that spot where its like your vocal chords are blowing wet soft raspberries. I've heard it described like that, but being able to actually feel it, is like, holy fudgeballs I've done did it! The dragon breath to a note is what made it click.
Another sub !! Best Fry Scream tutorial EVER!!! explained with knowledge of terms and practical examples that are easy to grasp on. YOU ROCK!!! keep the GREAT! work !
Subscribed entirely for the Stitch voice. Had me on the fence right up until that moment.
This has been the greatest tutorial ever!
Pay for my course" so I really really appreciate that you gave us the actual steps with all kinds of really helpful hints, tips and tricks.
So, I'm going to go and add some Hungry Lights tracks to my driving playlist (bc HOW ON EARTH have I never heard of you before!?), peruse the rest of your videos, and do some breath support practice.
Thanks again!
I'm laughing so hard while getting a ton of useful information. You're a legend.
You know, I've tried before, just by myself, copy and all, but sincerely, will follow your tutorial and see how it goes.... Thank you for putting this on youtube my man.
All this time, I thought I was doing a fry, but apparently, I'm doing a fake fry. Thanks for the enlightenment, Justin!
