06:35 The way I wash my basket is to first run my tap till the water is hot. I soak up any grease and food particles with a paper towel then fill the basket with hot water and a squirt of dish washing detergent. I'm a big fan of "Dawn".
After doing other chores, half hour or so, any residue in the basket washes off readily with a soft sponge.

Dawn is great if it works on Baby ducks to get oil off of them safely it will work wonderful getting oil off the Cosori basket.
YES I too love Dawn! This is what I did prior to using the powerwash spray. :)

Got my air fryer!!!! I already made bacon from frozen in it and mmmmmmm came out great and didn't take long and so much easier then in pan or oven! Can't wait to clean out spot on my counter to put it!!

This is SO helpful! I just got the Cosori Smart Wi-Fi 5.8 qt model. I got out all the paper and stuff but didn't even THINK about the oils and factory smells. Thank you!
I got the Cosori and had to do the trial runs recommended in the manual . Mine doesn’t smell at all after those 2 steps.

Kathy, you are the only Air Fryer host that mentioned getting additional WARRANTY from Cosori, which I did. You know of what you speak !! * I AM having an issue when putting basket back into the oven Pan. I push the clear plastic, put the basket in alignment and it's loose. Once I did that, I expected basket to be flush with pan sides, but I am doing something wrong because it doesn't stay put. I'm sorry, but could u help?? I've read others who had same issue. Haven't used my Cosori much but will. I subscribed to you, the Goddess of Air Frying !! 😁

My very first thing to use my brand new Cosori for was helping to make turkey sandwiches. I toasted one side of the bread, then turned the sandwiches over and spread some stuffing on one side and put back in for a minute or two, then added mayo, then piled sliced turkey on there and slapped it together for a great sandwich.

Currently did your vinegar lemon juice and water inside My air fryer and no more plastic smell I just literally got it did all the test runs and burnout nothing worked but your method! Thank you so much I didn't have lemon juice so instead I use a real lemon and squeeze it side my bowl

Still haven't touched mine v.v I had to switch apartments at short notice (Apparently my landlord lived in a rented appartment herself and her landlord wanted her out so she had no choice but to give me the boot too). and somehow I completly forgot about it. I am now through with a really bad mental health period so I may give it a try. Have some delicious air fried food to fortify my newfound happy state so to speak :D took me forever to find this since this is a tip I asked for back when I discovered this channel.

I just got a Cosori 5.8q AF (the same one in this video), but I need help. How to make a better guess on temperature and time for food. I don't want to get discouraged. Like a big chart of different foods, with temperatures and times would be very helpful.
I found magnets with all that info on it on Amazon there were pretty cheap too

My first air fryer arrived today! It is a basket style. After reading the manual and not finding, I’m wondering if I can use parchment paper when not using the crisper plate. I’m really enjoying your air fryer videos!
Congrats on the new air fryer! YES you can use the parchment paper without the crisper plate! Just make sure there is enough food placed to weigh it down when you run the air fryer!

The new thing, I have been baking pies in my Airfryer. Cherry pie and Pumpkin pie . We use it daily like a oven replacement I have spine damage so bending to light a oven kills me.

Thank you I just this year over came my fear of my instant pot! Honestly Ive been avoiding the early air fryers look like little easy bake ovens to me and the price was crazy! But I think I'm instreated in your make and model seems alit larger so you can do more. You may have perked my curiosity again! Thank you for all the inform. I'm still going to do more research I think there is a 10 quart it's only me but maybe I could cook more or larger items I work alot and don't feel like cooking for long periods of time. Can you rewarm in the air fryer if not I have a toaster oven that is convection but very small I could warm in there
Hi Kathy! YES you can reheat food in the air fryer! It takes longer than the microwave, of course. But it sure tastes a lot better!

I prefer the basket style because it's easier to handle and clean. :)

On my COSORI Air Fryer Max XL the white part on the handle of the cooking basket was cracked and broke. I called them expecting just the little white part..NO NO NO, they sent the whole NEW cooking basket! Beyond what I expected!

I see your other air fryer under your cabinets beside your stove, do you use there or move it to the more open area of your kitchen?
I have a small kitchen with limited space the only space I have is under the cabinets.
I have enough room to pull it away from the wall and use it. Sometimes I will angle it away from the wall as well. There is still plenty of room between the air fryer and cabinets, it hasn't been an issue for me.

I bought a T-Fal air fryer, cleaned it thoroughly, descaled with water and vinegar (it has a steamer)... Dry ran it for 1 hour, cleaned all parts, and repeated 2 more times... Still smells like burning chemicals...
What do you suggest if cooking from frozen for example chicken breast no bone how much time should you add??

Hi Sally Ann - congrats! I use Dawn Powerwash to spray down the basket. Before I used this though, I would just soak it in hot soapy water.
What are your thoughts on the 5qt cosori after using it for a bit?
Hi Liesl, I still prefer the 5.8 qt to be honest. I am noticing that the tray is falling out more easily now that I've used it a bit. And sometimes I do notice a faint smell that I don't on my 5.8 qt Cosori. I think it is coming from the rubber bumpers attached to the tray. However, I do LOVE how quiet it is!
I just got the Cosori air fryer but I’m not seeing a shake button….do not all of them have that function?
It depends on the model you got. The CP358 is the one with the shake reminder button. However, you can activate it if you push the snowflake button, then change the time and temp to whatever you need. It will remind you halfway through your cooking time. :)

Hi Anita, no I recommend the 5.8 quart Cosori. amzn.to/2QtgPHq - I have the 5quart as well, but I prefer the 5.8 because it has a basket and is easier to use. :)

Hi Claudia, most of the accessories fit in both. If you are enjoying the 5qt, then just stick with it! I think they cook the same!
Hi Cathy Someone gave me a Cosori CP158-AF I found both Owners manuals for both CP 158 af and CP358 af.The CP 358 seems way better.
As you suggested in your Video and in chat.Also One other Question Cathy some have commented on Amazon reviews about the rubber plug in the Basket for the CP 358.Have you found that rubber plug to be an issue.
Hi Walter! The 158 is still a good machine! :) It cooks the same and if you tap the snowflake button and then adjust the temp/time it will turn on the shake reminder.
As far as the plug on the CP358... Mine does NOT have it at all. However, my adult son is in town and brought his air fryer (per my request) and I noticed his DOES have a plug! It is still in there however, and he uses his a lot (for pizza pockets only lol).

Hi Cathy About the ❄️ button that is a Preset Button.and even though it is I can set it for any time and temperature that is Awesomeness!!!I think you said in a past video you had talked about the ❄️ button when you were making a recipe.What video is this from I want to watch it.
