Motorguide Type Transom Mount Trolling Motor Impact and Reverse Protection

In this video, I illustrate the methods used to modify a Motorguide type transom mount for impact and reverse pop out protection. This transom mount uses the push button type of release. This protection acts as a shock absorber if the motor hits an object in or under the water. It also keeps the motor from popping out of the water when using reverse.
