I just picked up this one but all white in color 45 lbs at an auction brand new in the box for $50 hopefully it's a good deal. I'll be putting it on a 12' john boat.
yes that is a good deal, I paid 80 for mine if i remember correctly. Don't quote me but i believe whit colored ones are salt water rated.
Yeah I havnt had the time to research it myself but I was thinking the same thing about it being saltwater because of it being white. Probably won't ever use it in salt water but good to have i guess. Lol
Is there a trick in threading the bolts back into the motorguide tracker 50 trolling motor?
Can i replace the motorguide r3 with an x3 and foot pedal unit without buying a brand new motor?
Just bought one of these motors, 55lb thrust model. What sold me was the metal mounting bracket. Minn Kota's mount is plastic - I'll take metal every time. Would be interesting to see a demonstration of the 2 different props out on the water.
+Zach Huff Yes, I had been thinking of making a video like that, there are actually 4 different props for motorguide r3. The fourth one is a four blade prop, its not available in stores where i live so i was just going use the three different props. What type of boat do you have?
+goodtimesports I've got a 13ft semi-v jon boat setup for bass fishing. Haven't taken it out with the new MotorGuide yet but looking forward to testing it out.
***** Nice, yeah that 55 lb thrust motorguide should move you along just fine.
