Nice video....I just picked up my first little 3.5 hp Merc for a Pelican Bass Raider..My question is, do you recommend a transom saver for you outboard to transport or can i safely strap the motor in the down postion to transport...I see comment both ways & welcome your suggestion.
I have always erred on the side of caution and went with a transom saver with anything from a 9.9 up to a 50 horse. I know what transom saver isn't going to hurt anything, so I'd rather it have the chance of helping.
