Motor guide trolling motor head flip

I was gifted this great trolling motor, but the controls were the wrong way! I didn’t see any videos on UA-cam specific so I made my own here. It’s actually really easy to change the orientation of the motor/ controls. Check it out. Special guest appearance from Ben!

Could I have put the head on backwards during initial setup cause my first time taking it out it runs forward in reverse

Sounds like you’ve got your wires crossed somewhere. I didn’t touch any wires doing this, it’s purely a mechanical change

What size is the bolt

It’ll depend on your motor. I didn’t have the need to measure but if you take it to a hardware store they can size it for you
