Great Pedal! I've been using it a few weeks now as my #1 drive. I've never played a real Klon but if this is what it sounds like then I understand why is has such a reputation. I'm running it as an always on boost in front of my Marshall JCM 800. Highly recommend.

The pedal sure sounds nice. Options for people who want to go for that sound, but still want it to be affordable, are always welcome.

Great video. Enjoyed the humor. One suggestion would be to play the pedal through a couple of amps and then same amps but different guitar. As always, Don gives a great review.

This video sold me so I bought one. Can’t get the thing to sound good with my tele through a ‘68 Princeton unless I stack it with a Timmy. It comes alive then, but sounds kind of muddy in the lows and not bright enough on the highs. The miss are right on, but I was a little disappointed. Sounds better with humbuckers, but perhaps a klon klone wasn’t what I was looking for. Back to TS variants

@@RonnyBGoode I'm starting to think I have enough way huge pedals, though! I just brought home the Conquistador, after the Angry Troll a couple weeks ago. Brings my total to 5 now, all on the top row of my board. Looks pretty cool. But my top row only can fit one more (way huge pedal). I'm thinking it has to be this one...but, I mean, I could always buy a real klon instead for the middle row, and leave this spot for a Saucy Box, or Pork Loin or something...(?)

Bro. Nothing about your gear makes you 'professional'. If it doesn't break and you feel like it sounds sick, use it. Prince used Boss pedals. If you think they sound shit then don't use them. If you think they sound sick, you're gonna play sick. Just grab some pedals, get stuck in and the journey of knowledge begins :)

It does feature a buffer like the original, but it's actually switchable via a switch inside, so you can make it true bypass if you like.

I'm not sure if that is just written on Way Huge's website, but I just opened mine up and stared at it for 10 minutes. I didn't see any switch.

The guy who built the original Klon and now builds his own clone says just run the buffer and I tend to agree. It sounds better.
@@tomcoryell i know that klon circuit got a great buffer inside and i like it also, but some of my fuzzes doesn't not like a buffer placed before and i was wondering if it could be disengaged by a switch...
