If the Way Huge Conspiracy Theory bears a more than passing resemblance to a particularly lusted-after, gold-boxed, mid-gain overdrive, it's no coincidence. This single-wide amp driver masterfully captures the subtle sweetening, the indefinable mojo, that has made the original a key ingredient in countless pro guitarists' session setups. Conspiracy Theory boasts an extremely sensitive gain range and a highly musical tonal sweep. So whether you're driving tubes into crunch territory or lengthening leads with its sweet, silken sustain, Conspiracy Theory excels at all shades of sensibly-gained harmonic enhancement.

This was the perfect time to release this due to the Area 51 Raid trend
Yep! One million people on Facebook said they're going to buy this pedal. Thanks for watching!
Maybe that’s a conspiracy.
These 2 dudes NEED to do a pedal show or gear show ,so cool!!!
Remember when this dude would do a shitty demo of a pedal and then say “well there you have it”?
I just received my Conspiracy Theory a couple of days ago, to once and for all understand the hype around the Klon thing.
I get it now.
I have found myself running it at just about half gain, and I would describe the sensation as less like an overdrive than as a dirty compressor mixed with the best tuned treble booster ever made.
I play wet/dry through an EHX Dirt Road Special and a Roland JC40. The response is lightning quick, but the diodes squeeze off just enough of the transient to make everything smooth. Boosting a BD-2w and following with delay and spring reverb - combined with the JC40s chorus - the effect with my SG in the middle position is magnificent.
Every mistake you make will be heard, ESPECIALLY if you play solid state amplifiers. But it’s beyond worth it to have the level of detail that this pedal imparts to guitar tone. I am already shopping for another Klon clone to occupy another position on my board.
IT IS THAT GOOD.
Is this a demonstration of the delay pedal?
Does it have the same power charge pump and the buffer as a k-type pedal. For me that’s what sets it apart from others.
It doesn't. That'll make it a lesser pedal than Klon clones in some ways, but also will alleviate the problems some people have had with noise through Strymon delay pedals.
I wonder how this compares to the MXR Sugar Drive - they're both based on the same Klon circuit.
The sugar drive is a klon copy, the Conspiracy is a rehoused saucy box with some different value component that makes it less jangly
@@furbymetal83 That isn’t actually true. The Saucy Box is a FET based drive with a discrete clean blend. If you open the Conspiracy Theory, you can see the TL072 opamps, the glass pack germanium diodes, and the charge pump chipset.
Who gave him a job? that's what I've been asking myself since his first day.
I know and he's at every Dunlop/MXR booth for every Namm! So annoying
Right sitting man-faces! The best in the video.
love the WOF shirt
I have one of these and a new Vox ac-10 on the way. 🙂
Sweetwater, of course. My girl-thing digs the candy and never complains when I buy stuff.
I also play through a Vox Ac 10 amp with the Conspiracy Theory pedal also. The blendable gain from the Vox brings out the gain in the pedal a lot more than through a clean amp like a Deluxe Reverb. If your amp has a gain dial, this pedal will offer better overdrive grit
Sweet😎
I thought Tripp’s was fed up with the klon circuit?
And how long are we gonna have to wait for a shootout of the CTPO, MXR Sugar Drive, and JRAD Archer (Ikon)!?
That dude is on whatever phil x is on
Oh no the mxr bearded demo guy - Noooooo!
So it’s a copy but it is not the same.
It’s a Klone....but you changed it to sound different 🧐 So its just something new
The midrange is different. I have a KTR and a original and it does stack up well. I still prefer the KTR and Centaur
They also designed it on the way to the moon 🙄
Please just play the pedal. No one wants a video talking about a pedal.
Dump the Gibson and play epiphone
Sounds like a boss sd-1 or something
ehm... no
too much jabbering
Next time play a Epiphone instead of a boring overrated Gibson
Two of the worst players ever ! Terrible demo !!!
Bowcott has rocked harder than you ever will.
Too much of nothing !!! Boss SD-1 killed them all !!!
