    This is a great demo! Demonstrated single coil and humbucker pickups while changing the pedal and guitar settings. Concise descriptions while tweaking gave me a solid understanding of this pedal's capability. This is now on my list of pedals to try/buy. Helpful hint, nice to have a timeline for those who would like to jump to a specific part of your demonstration, such as the single coil, part, etc.

    Clean under them nails Tal!
    Great sounding pedal, if Christmas weren't coming up I'd just buy it for myself right now

    To be fair Sahil, I've played all of these except the Saucy Box, and they all sound different and interact with the amp differently. The Angry Troll is a boost, the Pork Loin combines a clean pre-amp, the Green Rhino is a Tubescreamer type pedal and the Red Llama is kind of it's own thing. With that being said, I think the Saucy Box is very close to the Pork Loin with the whole clean signal thing, but Idk because I haven't played it in person yet.

      Sahil Londhe I think you should do just that with an open mind. As with any other piece of gear there are bound to be a common thread per Jeorge Tripps' tonal ideal. And these Way Huge pedals are quite articulate and thus let the amp shine through. That aside to my ears they put out quite different kinds of crunch. And that can be said about some MXR and Dunlop products also designed by Jeorge to his ideal.

    When someone asks me what I'm up to this evening and I can honestly say I'll be stacking my Way HugeJumbo Swollen Pickle into a Way Huge Saucy Box as well as a Big Muff and say it with a totally straight face - thank you, Jeorge Tripps and WH/Dunlop-MX

    I haven't heard a demo of this pedal yet that it didn't sound amazing, I think I will have to try it...

    It does not get very muddy on full drive , awesome !
    Hard to set it for bad tone it seems !

    Great sound. Methinks the amp is responsible for quite a bit of it, though. It sounds thick and warm clean

      Should have used a more Guitar Center type of amp....... seriously, agree with you

    Tal was the best part of these. Is he ok? Wish he was still making Demo’s for Dunlop. I’m a Way Huge fanatic and heavily associate his unique playing with these pedals. Now Tal’s gone, they Hipster’fied the demo’s, they shrunk ‘em down and outsourced to Taiwan. Fun while it lasted.

    From a technical point of view - functionality wise - this circuit functions just like a Centaur.

    these are cool but i wish the test guitarists would just play some solid notes & let them ring out so we can get a better feeling for the tone ;_;

      This will sound great with bass since it’s similar to a Klon and Klon’s make bass tone sound incredible.

    Dual gang gain pot with a passive treble cut. I wonder on what silver or gold pedal I have seen this before...

      I find that while it has that centaur feel, it's definitely more open and not nearly as pronounced in the mids, which is what I actually hate about most klones

    Way Huge makes great pedals but its demoer should play more chords and wank away less.

    • @awesomejohnnet

      I thought it was great demo "as usual" and the playing was excellent to show off what the box could do. Plenty of other demo out there that show a guy banging on chords. Here it was showcased for the "working man" and not the bedroom player. I thought all was fine except everyone here who watched it with me got really creeped out by the dirty crud under the dudes long thumbnail ..very inappropriate you would think that someone would have told the demoer about that... or edited it out or something.. its kinda gross...and if your demo something where closeup shots of your hands are unavoidable a little bit of fingernail hygiene would be a good idea. Anyway a great demo anyway... yuk for the black crud under the dudes long thumbnail (butt crust?) that made us all nauseous..

      Pierre Ratzki he did fine. It’s tal Morris he’s a great player. Half the time u don’t even know ur watching him. You know the MXR videos that don’t show the guys face just the guitar case, guitar and amp and pedal? He’s one of the guys doing the demos. I think they’re really cool demos myself. 2 yr the of post I know but was just watching it now. Here utube video of Tal. ua-cam.com/video/-kxkYzh6TOc/v-deo.html

    I don't like the "fairly clean tone" base. How about some purely clean tone bases peeps

    • @slinkie130
      @slinkie130 9 років тому +1

      boonexy He does that because this pedal will drive with the drive all the way down, the "kinda" helps hide that. Kinda bugs me.

    • @AstralElephantFuzz
      @AstralElephantFuzz 8 років тому +3

      +boonexy Putting dirt pedals on top of a purely clean tone sounds stale as hell. Why overdrive something that's not already a little bit driven?
