    I've been holding off on Geo nodes for a while. This looks perfect.

      same xD
      I dud the hexagon ball though it was made with an icosphere and dual-mesh geo-nodes. Also the delete-mesh node... so I'm not that "virgin" about geo nodes. They are a ton of fun

    I see you reduced the light size but it didn’t affect the spread of the light. How did you do that? And also I see your light s on 10W and it’s very bright. My Area light on 10W is very low.

    when your choosing the shape of the object and hitting rx2 how is it that the movement is so smooth, when i do it it's like flashing through a set at light speed.

    Anyone know why my emissive material at the bottom would not be reflecting in the abstract shape? if the lights are reflecting in it just fine, why isn't the emmisive object illuminating the underside?

    Question: when I add my camera (7:29 in video) and hit ctrl-alt-0, it doesn't snap to my view, my view shifts, and in fact it seems to change my geometry also. I'm completely new to geometry nodes and a novice generally in Blender. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

    • @petethorne5094
      @petethorne5094 2 роки тому +1

      @@Leberkasbepi look at how big you have made your original starting object and the distance you have placed your lights compared to the tutorial.
      Remember light falls off according to the inverse square law - basically meaning moving your lights a tiny bit further away will make them appear much dimmer. Conversely move them a tiny bit closer and they’ll look much brighter

    why are blender tuts so nooby ? I think that the problem for maya users like me who are interested in blender are turned away because of all those "I never worked in my whole life in CG" creepy youtubers. If pro artists don t join the comunity, it will be just like Unreal VS unity. The pros will go unity, because they are pros, and the noobs will stay on unreal, because they are noobs.
