I can sooo relate to you. I am a 57 yo woman born and raised in North Carolina. Over the past 3 years I have put on about 20 pounds. Couldn't wear my clothes, felt miserable. Was put on high blood pressure medicine in 2022 and had horrible acid reflux. In desperation I was "this close" to spending money on Provilitize (not sure of spelling). Then started seeing tik toks about Carnivore that sparked my interest. Then started binging UA-cam. Long story short, been on carnivore since June 2 of this year. I'm down 26 lbs and off my bp meds! My husband joined me immediately. He turned 60 in August and is down from 258lbs to 215. We are feeling wonderful and looking forward to continuing this way of eating.
Carnivore almost a year now. Finally got my echocardiogram two weeks ago and it did in fact confirm an increase if five points where I am no longer considered in congestive heart failure! My blood labs before carnivore and in August also confirmed a complete turn around for the better in all areas of my health, which was a lot! I eat two meals a day, intermittent fasting each day 16 to 18 hours. I supplement with electrolytes, and I eat four slices of bacon, two to three pasture raised eggs scrambled in real butter, for my first meal. My second meal is beef, seafood or both. On occasion I will have pork. I drink coffee with cream. Tea sometimes, not often. I drink water mostly. I only use Redmond’s salt, nothing else. I have lost to date 71 lbs of fat. I am 67 years old. I have no issues with cream or even milk, but don’t have it everyday. Carnivore literally saved my life. ❤. I used to use a scooter and cane, couldn’t breathe well when walking. I now can go up and down stairs with no problems. Carnivore for life!
Hi , l love your carnivore story , l am 59 with many complications , and l am 61 days in , l can't see much results yet , but l'm in for the long haul, you said, you drank coffee , for me it seems to destroy my gut flora . Anyway thanks for encouraging to keep on going . ❤
@ I also take a very good probiotic and have for years. This is why my gut is in such good condition. Hopefully after you heal you will be able to add back some of the things you love! Keep up the good fight for your health! ❤️
I had to chuckle at your "retirement" village story. I live in a very small rural town that has a senior citizen center. and many of the members keep bugging me to visit or join the center. I kinda laugh and tell them I will when I get old. I know they just shake their head as this 77 year old walks away
The week before I was about to go to the doctor to discuss starting an Ozempic-type medication for weight loss - after years of trying all kinds of diets without success - we discovered the carnivore diet! I had tried keto before, but it led to some rough kidney stone episodes. I was 210 pounds at 5’4” and 56 years old. Now, I’m down 35 pounds. My sleep apnea is gone, and my digestive issues have cleared up. My husband had struggled with nail fungus on his right toe his entire adult life. After month 5 The toe nail dried out, fell off, and now he has a healthy new nail growing in. All our seasonal allergies are gone, no more snoring, and we’re both sleeping through the night. We’re entering month 8 on carnivore, and we’re not looking back!
YUP.. Unfortuneately.. consuming anything that is high in oxilates is detramental for a lot of people.. With carnivore.. you eliminate all the outside foods, that are very likely causing you those health issues. Dr. Anthony Chaffee is correct about PLANTS ARE TRYING TO KILL YOU.
Dave, years ago I decided that I would move to a retirement village when I reached 70. I thought that a decline in health was inevitable. Then aged 64 I went keto (real food) and had multiple health benefits, mostly unexpected. Now I am 70 and a retirement village is the last thing on my mind. I keep chickens, I have a very boisterous dog, I do all sorts of preserving and prepping, all of which would be difficult or impossible in a retirement village. I’m on no medication and feel that quick access to medical help is not necessary. Not to mention jab mandates which retirement villages are likely to have!
Started Keto/carnivore mid July, it is now beginning of Nov. Both my husband and I have lost weight and feel sooooo much better. Turning 63 in March and I am starting to feel the energy that I had in my 30's. My stamina is so much better. Alot of health issues greatly reduced. We have not felt this great in decades. The interesting thing is that we do not feel hungry between meals, and we do not get cravings. Our food is rather repetitious, but to feel this good, we eat happily and healthily and do not plan on stopping. Ppl try this, it works!
A very close friend of mine was a MR, worked for a European company, he had to push SGLT2 Inhibitors(diabetic drug), if he did not hit his quota twice in a row he would be let go, all his contract. He ended up quitting as felt guilty pushing drugs that he knew were harmful. He gave up big $$$. Kudos to him.
My doctors over the years have always said lose some weight but it’s their throwaway line to get you to take a medication. The lady is right we need to take charge of our health, changing your diet is the key first step.
I put my type 2 diabetes in remission on carnivore my doctor told me to eat porridge oats and nuts and seeds I said I can't tolerate carbs all I need is meat and fat and salt and water and she said, "What about the planet?" I take none of her medications I'm going it alone.
❤ Thanks for your testimonial I'm 75 Cant believe how much better I feel on The carnivore. diet. I have not been able to convince other people. They think I'm crazy.
Yeah. I especially like when they say I should get my blood panel checked, after losing 45 pounds and being in great shape at 53, when they never said anything to me before I changed my lifestyle, eating junk and processed foods.

I am delighted to hear about your bladder tone changing Patricia. It confirms what is happening with my body currently and I didn’t dare to even start to believe. I started carnivore officially September, and I didn’t even think that this could correct my bladder prolapse! I will certainly have to add in the exercise program into my life. Thank you for sharing your experience with us so clearly.
Actually, that's right, now that I recall. Bladder control and the frequency with which I need to urinate (conspicuously often at the time) have definitely improved through a significant reduction in carb intake.
I started in September too, coming from plant based. Best decision I ever made, feel amazing. I had debilitating hip pain, and after 2 weeks, I could walk for hours with no problem. That is enough motivation to keep me on the proper human diet.
SO ENCOURAGING! It’s like reversing age.. It is great to think that our diseases and inflammation can reverse, even if it may take some time.. Great video!🎉
I'm 60. I've been carnivore since the first of January this year. I've lost a few kilos and feel fitter and healthier than I have in a long, long time. Definitely not feeling old, so yesterday it was quite a shock when I got on a bus and a younger lady offered me her seat. I first said "no thanks, I'm fine", but then thought about it and (laughingly) said "do I really look that old?". My partner thought it was hilarious because he's always teasing me about how old I am because I'm 4 months older than he is. Thinking about it later I reckon it must've been because I have white hair 😆
I am a 64yo woman and began Carnivore October 1 this year. Have NEVER felt better! Still learning and growing with this WOE, but it’s so easy. We even went on a cruise and it was the easiest process just asking for two main items and no sides or desserts!
OMG...same here...I decided to allow myself pumpkin flavored coffee creamer. I bought the liquid kind sugar free (which i used to love) and..... gave it to a neighbor. I was determined so i thenbought pumpkin coffee syrup and .....gave it away. All i tasted was chemicals! I couldnt believe it.
I can so relate to this! I am 59 with RA and have stopped all symptoms of joint pain. I just struggle with alcohol, I cant seem to ton totally stop that? I need some advise please Dave? My RA is totally under control, almost no symptoms. I ma proud of how far I have come. Eating mostly carnivore, maybe ketovore... a salad like once a week. Thank you for this🙏
I stopped wine/beer when I realized the sugar-insulin effect. And then wanted to see how clean I could get my liver…so now I have gin & water socially once a month…or not even that! I changed my evening routine to be able to do this, as well. No more sitting in front of TV (my old usual). At the least, I’ll do jigsaw puzzle. Take a walk. Sit in another room to listen to podcasts. Etc Hope you find a reason to stop, because my sleep improved dramatically, as well as morning energy. Good luck!
The key for me was avoiding all triggers.. I avoided any situation where I would habitually drink. For example, if I would have a glass of wine after getting home while watching youtube on my desktop - I would avoid using my computer when I got home. I might replace this by listening to UA-cam on my phone while going for a walk.
Exactly, my own health problems started when I was in my late twenties. The younger generations should just look at their parents a little more closely- what are they suffering with? These ailments don’t suddenly start one day, they build up over years. When the symptoms start, it’s pretty serious. This is why I too, always speak about it with my young adult children.
Dave and Patricia, thank you!! So common sense and encouraging, reinforcing!!! Ive been too swamped to listen much lately, so elated not to miss this one🎉❤❤❤
I loved watching Pat! This inspires me to keep going with my dreams. I am ending my 30s in 2 more years (this January). I want to make my 40s better than my 30s. Pat was right about this. It is a lifestyle. I know it. I have stopped fruits, vegetables, and oats in the last 30 to 60 days. I am fired up. I want to see how I do on a more proper carnivore eating. I believe in it. I have been successful. I went to my doctor today. I have maintained being under 200 pounds. This year has been 5 years since I started my general health resurrection.
I like this lady 👏👏👏 I did the elimination diet and now I’m mainly carnivore,,, but still love dicing some tomato and broccoli into my sautéed meat and make gravy out of the broccoli water, spices, Worcestershire sauce, some Thai fish sauce (adds amazing umami flavor) salt, onion and garlic powder. This is my special delicious weekend treat meal!
Concur. We must figure out our own medical conditions, assessments, tests, corrective actions. Ditto for diet and nutrition. We must reject the inputs presented as fact by the mass harmers and their useful idiot henchmen (doctors, vegans, nutritionists, dietitians).
I recently fell off the wagon after getting a virus. Today I am getting back on track and tomorrow fasting. I was urinating less often, slept extremely well, mind was clear, glucose normalized, vertigo gone and felt satiated after eating.
Patricia I must have missed it, but where are you? As a Cajun, I figure somewhere in Louisiana. I'm outside New Orleans and looking for a local community of keto carnivores.
We all grew up eating a subsistence diet, spawned from ww1 and ww2 with the great depression in between. How to stretch out rationed meat with vegetables and cheap carbs. Four generations later we believe that's how people always ate.
I soooooo appreciate your comment. Margarine is an example of that. Another in-house 'joke' of the war and inter-war years, where the potential for starvation/attrition was at times not very far away: 'What's for dinner?' 'C, A, T, ..... Rabbit''. My parents were born in 1917 and 1920, respectively. People of their generation and circumstance didn't always know where the next meal was coming from. They were survivors.
@@magsrankin6166 Thanks for your comment to. Those days of our parents as kids are intriguing. My grandparents served in ww1 and parents were born around 1930. Straight into the depression.
Bless you im a thin person edging close to 60 was 80 percent carnivore before having all my dental work pulled. I feel horrible because i can only eat eggs and refried beans and ground beef. My labs were good. Don’t wanna wish my life away but January can’t get there soon enough. Im allergic to everything. Cleaning products, dawn was responsible for 55 years of terrible dermatitis on my face and in my ears. Turns out restaurants use a rinse agent that has the same ingredients so no more eating anything I don’t prepare. It’s very isolating. Also much easier to cook for myself. 😢
It is really hard to explain to people how amazing it feels when you eat a proper human diet. My advice is to go gradually by eliminating sugar and anything made with sugar. Start with that. Then and maybe simultaneously, eliminate processed foods/snacks etc. Get used to that for a while. Then slowly ween yourself off of all veg/carbs. I am 61 and started carnivore again!, 24 days ago, mostly carnivore for over a year now! Do 30 days as an experiment and see how it goes. No meds, no worries , lots of energy,☮️❤️🙏
Yup, Patricia Anding.. once you get in to ketosis.. you'll know it.. and yes.. you can and will feel many years younger than your chronological age. It's just that we've felt like crap for so many years from consuming all the crap/garbage foods (sugars, high carb foods/processed foods, seed oils)... you know the list. Ladies if you're >40.. you're gonna have to accept the fact that your hormones are tanking.. YUP TRUE FACT.. FOR 99% OF US. Go get a hormone blood panel + thryoid. You need to know where you're at. Seek out a a good Naturopath and have a discussion about HRT. There are several good choices. Until you get your hormones balanced..it's gonna be really really tough to get where you want to be as far as your body composition. Notice I did NOT say "drop weight". Try to focus less on weight and more on loosing fat (viceral and sub Q) the weight will adjust accordingly. Yes,... a good ketogenic/carnivore life style will greatly contribute to the overall program. Engage in a good consistant exercise... if you can walk everyday.. that would greatly improve/expidite your journey to achieve your goals. Ladies, Body recomposition is what you're ultimately after. I strongly suggest you engage in some resistance training. This doesnt mean you have pump heavy weights, unless you want to. Be sure to exercise smart and safely. Find a good personal trainer to instruct you on correct form. It doesnt take much. A carnivore lifestyle really really not only simplifies your life, but wow... game changes your health.. and once you're dialed in.. you'll feel incredible. We've been lied to, manipulated and poisoned for so long by Big Pharma and their lying criminal associates.. YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHO THEY ARE!
Great video. Regarding skin tags, I have one under my armpit that hasn’t “disappeared” after losing my weight on keto and eventually going to carnivore. I’m at my optimal weight, around 158 at 5’8”. I hear this all the time- “my skin tags all disappeared.” How do they just disappear? Is it possible that mine won’t?
I wonder if some fasting might help with autophagy. Maybe a 24-hour fast once a week or 18/6 every day or something like that. I’m not an expert and would trust Dr Fung for best guidance. 😊❤
I’ve had good results with iodine on a bandaid. (Bentadine spray). Even my age spots are nearly gone after one yr carnivore! Feeling great at 71! Hooray! 🎉
Dr Ben Bikman, Dr Jason Fung, Dr Robert Lustig, Dr Boz, Dr Ken Berry - do some research, gain some awareness, and hold yourself accountable for your health. The Govt (FDA, CDC, and crop subsidies), Big Food, Big Medical, and Big Pharma need to be held accountable for all the damage done. Go RFK Jr!
Carnivore way of eating is a choice, it’s different when you’re ill and have to eat a certain way, it’s difficult, because they did not choose that way of eating and others are telling them what and when to eat changing their food is not a given, that’s when they are called noncompliant, it is the only way the can have some control of their body.
I am a 74 year old woman, started Carnivore this week. Eating lamb leg steaks tonight, and i feel strange and guilty, because NO salad.. Already the nasty arthritic pain in my lower left thigh, which i have endured since 2019 has remarkably lost its intensity...woohoo
Here is the deal with alcohol - I’m going to say it again lol I’m Cajun - Cajuns do almost everything around food and alcohol- what happened to me is I drink ALOT less because of the way it makes me feel the next day - if you are trying to lose weight it will definitely stop the weight loss - I say don’t drink alcohol for the first 3 months - or drink less- you really won’t desire it - focus on getting all the toxins from the sugar and carbs out of your body- it may take longer than 3 months- remember this is not a diet- tell yourself you will be eating this way for the rest of your life- I mean after you feel as good as you will feel eating the proper food why would you want to go back to eating crap food and feeling horrible (which is how you will feel after drinking alcohol) - now after I’m at 3 years I will have a glass of wine with a steak at a restaurant or I will drink a few beers if I go to a festival or if I’m on vacation - but not on a regular basis - I cut it out - doesn’t make me feel good and I love the way I feel without it - so you will have to focus on how it makes you feel and decide if it’s worth it - hope that helps! ❤
@@TecoosCajunCarnivoreCorner Thank you...yes, I was wondering if it was something that you used to do, still do, changed, etc. It is a big factor, so I think that it bears mentioning. I'm Irish descent, and believe me, alcohol has been a part of my life and "culture" since pre-day 1. But I workout every day, so that's an added daily incentive to abstain. And, btw, I'm 61.9, F.
@@vanillaghetto I can definitely say I drink ALOT less now because of the carnivore lifestyle. I now know what feeling good feels like and that is where I want to stay! ❤️
Eating a snack or treat, such as a bowl of ice cream, at a particular time each day/evening can fast become a psychological addiction. Extra care required (said by a recovering carb addict).

I went to my doctor today. I have maintained being under 200 pounds. This year has been 5 years since I started my general health resurrection.
From SAD to PHD
I like this lady 👏👏👏 I did the elimination diet and now I’m mainly carnivore,,, but still love dicing some tomato and broccoli into my sautéed meat and make gravy out of the broccoli water, spices, Worcestershire sauce, some Thai fish sauce (adds amazing umami flavor) salt, onion and garlic powder. This is my special delicious weekend treat meal!
Hi Dave, 128 weeks 🥩 slowly stopped fasting. Eating every other day. I expect to be hungry soon enough. Winter has arrived.
Oh Patricia, this is sontelatyfor so many women 🤗 thank you xx
Thanks Dave ..2/11/24.....
I got a Dash 8" round griddle. Great for cooking without using a fry pan.
Love the great southern accent !
And if we have the knowledge, at any time one could decide to do it.
That glow! 😍
Love her email address. Leger in French is thin.
lol!
I’m going to be 60 this February!! 😂🤩🙏🏻
Patricia I must have missed it, but where are you? As a Cajun, I figure somewhere in Louisiana. I'm outside New Orleans and looking for a local community of keto carnivores.
I’m from Kinder!
@@TecoosCajunCarnivoreCorner about 200 miles from me. Do you know any folks near NOLA eating this way?
@@laurahudson8210not really-I get all my motivation from watching Laura Spath; Kelly Hogan; homestead how Kerry Mann and all the drs
Another in-house 'joke' of the war and inter-war years, where the potential for starvation/attrition was at times not very far away:
'What's for dinner?'
'C, A, T, ..... Rabbit''.
My parents were born in 1917 and 1920, respectively. People of their generation and circumstance didn't always know where the next meal was coming from. They were survivors.
Actually, now that I recall, rationing didn't stop in Britain to well into the 1950s.
❤❤❤
Sounds good to me as I am half way there. One and a half years carnivore 😊
The only time a doc wanted me on a diet was when I gained muscle weight from working out. How stupid he looked wen I took my shirt of..
Since 1987 I stopped drinking any soda especially coke.
Great flowing interview, thank you❤
So true about the processed foods tasting like chemicals after you've been on the carnivore diet. What are they feeding us?
It is really hard to explain to people how amazing it feels when you eat a proper human diet. My advice is to go gradually by eliminating sugar and anything made with sugar. Start with that. Then and maybe simultaneously, eliminate processed foods/snacks etc. Get used to that for a while. Then slowly ween yourself off of all veg/carbs. I am 61 and started carnivore again!, 24 days ago, mostly carnivore for over a year now! Do 30 days as an experiment and see how it goes. No meds, no worries , lots of energy,☮️❤️🙏
💚💚💚
Good morning Dave great interview as usual how long do you does she use her rebounder for I love rebounding also.
I use it periodically. I want to start using it more often! It makes my muscles and joints feel so good!
Fight for your right to be healthy
😊❤
Maybe its a mole and not a skin tag
@ Nope. Definitely a tag.
I’m staring my 6th month carnivore, and I haven’t lost my skin tag yet. Plenty of other improvements though, so I’m happy to have a bit more patience.
I’ve had good results with iodine on a bandaid. (Bentadine spray). Even my age spots are nearly gone after one yr carnivore! Feeling great at 71! Hooray! 🎉
Hi! Does anyone else experience that the oxal dumping with muscle and joint pain becomes milder when you fast for a couple of days?

Hi Patricia, what about alcohol?
😅😂😅😂 no the medical reps are saying if you distribute all of these samples I give you we will supplement your income by 40,000 this year
Eating a snack or treat, such as a bowl of ice cream, at a particular time each day/evening can fast become a psychological addiction. Extra care required (said by a recovering carb addict).
What does 20 feel like? Is it smoother than 60 or more form fitting?
Enjoyed this interview. Thank you Dave and Patricia!
