Hey man? I loved "Dahbris" (debris). I'm southern too and pronounce Salmon WITH the "L", not "Sammon". Looking forward to your shop getting renovated or whatever you're doing to it. Peace out man!
Love the channel, you have really helped me with your videos and what I need to do to restore my machines here in Brewton Ala. I am in the process of restoring a 1988 TRX250R, 1985 ATC250R and a 1987LT250R. Thank you for the great video’s! Am anxious to see the LT250R getting put back together!
Man you’re right. The collection has really changed since I began watching. I can see mine going that way and I feel same way about what all runs and what all has probs still in my own machines. Good videos haven’t changed though. 👍
Good video. Just got my collection down to 10 and I loaded up a Warrior yesterday and met Harvey at the Diner to roll it from my truck to his. He'll make some vids with it and when he's done I'll do the cosmetics. He's doing pretty good and we're both learning to deal with physical limitations, right after I helped a guy load up a bunch of galvanized shipping platforms on his truck? Still learning! Take care and stay out of the mud.
Looking forward to the Recon content. I bought a new Recon in 2021. Still the same machine. I chose that model because it was small enough for my son to handle but big enough for me. I have to say I was disappointed at first. Beautiful fit and finish but it was cold blooded. It would never idle with out the choke and was hard starting. Then it wouldn't start at all intermittently. I cleaned the carb and adjusted the idle. It did better but was still acting up. So I bought a new honda carb. I put it on and it runs perfect. It will start with out the choke unless it's freezing outside. Idles great. I love it now. It's the closes you can get to a new 250es. Love the channel. Been around since the beginning.
Hi Don, thank you for all the continued support. The recon video should be next week, still waiting on tires. They really are a very capable machine for the size and options they are hard to beat.
You have a nice colection, It's hard to keep up with and I find myself doing the same thing with other collections that I have. When it doesn't get used and becomes another job the fun kinda wethers away. I feel like you do, when I was a teenager, I got my first 3 wheeler, an '85 250 Big Red and the owner had two new 350x's an '85 and an '86 back then in '86 , I've always wanted one of those machines, even though I have a very soft spot in my heart for the 250 Big Reds because of the thrills I grew up with riding as a kid. My pockets are kinda shallow, but my bucket list is still waiting to be fulfilled with atleast 1 of each, a 350x, 250R, 350 Banshee, and probably an LT250R Suzuki like the one you have😄, It's a real challenge and it's fun. I really enjoy your videos and effort you put into them, It gives me the courage to keep pursuing.
I bought a second trx125. Now I've got a 85 and an 86. Yesterday I bought a 97 xr100r. Both get lots of love but the trx came with title and other paper work 😁
Id have to write it down to figure out how many engines i have that all are sitting with gas in them at this moment hahah It's desert season, so the trikes are happy, but my lawn mower and the Briggs flatheads are lookin at me like "da fuk bro?" See ya in the spring, ring a ding ding..
Question…. A lot of the ATC no longer have titles. How do you get them registered for the national forest? Is there a “before this year”. And they don’t require a title. Or you have titles ?
I get titles for all my machines. every state is different, mine says all machines sold since 1990 where required to registered. So most old machines were never titled. So as long as the vin is never reported stolen and never been titled, then you can get a new title for pre 1990 machines. Always run your vin BEFORE you buy it. Also some states no longer or have never registered atv. If you buy a machine from those states and bring it into a state that does require it, its easier and considered a first title when your state titles the machine even if its 40 years old.
@@mrcbuilds I’m in central Florida. That’s very helpful information. So I shouldn’t be worried if I pick up an old atc. Big reason I haven’t is because I ride ocala a lot and I know you need the sticker. And most old atcs don’t have titles
1985 200x I've had it for a couple of years road it for year and a half started little by little getting harder to start when I got it they had built the motor for racing so I picked up a stock motor that needs to be gone through any suggestions on who I could possibly trade more 200x part's to for getting the stock motor to rebuilt
Not really, i would suggest a small independent small engines repair shop. Most large dealers will not work on them. They are pretty simple to do yourself if its just a topend. As for getting harder to start it could be any number of wear items. Ie: rings, dirty carb, bad plug, weak stator.
Video and Audio looks and sounds great.
Thank you Sir.
Man, i'd LOVE to see you tear down a 85/86 ATC 250R and build it up like new! Thanks for the content, bud!
Thanks for watching
Hell yeah Aaron, Im excited to build that Lt250r engine.
Coming soon to a shop near you.
Sounds n looks good!
Thanks Kix. Money well spent then.

That. Haro pedal bike is collectable. I have my 1986 gt perfomer bike from when i was a kid. Im told its worth good money.
Yes they are about 1500 im told. The blue one is my childhood bike, the green one i grabbed last year.
Definite Improvement 🤙🏻
Thanks Joe

Good grief my mother in law has one just like that. Thumb throttle ext and all lol
Thats funny.
A messy shop is not fun to operate in. Sometimes you just gotta stop and clean up
My shop has a super power, it can dirty itself.
Just found your channel. I’m a huge ATC lover. Thank you for the content. I have a few videos of my own.
New subscriber. Gardens144.
Thank you Garden144, welcome to the channel.

Those trx125's are little tanks.
@@mrcbuilds I agree still got idle issue on the 86 but keeping it. TTYL bud

I know what you mean. Lol
I recommend 2.7k 60fps looks smooth on my end,but yours looks great to fyi 😀 👍
Thank Justin, enjoyed your ride video this morning with my coffee, I miss Tennessee.
Man! Thanks for watching
Part 2 is done. I will be uploading sometime tonight, fyi lol
Oh, I love the thumbnail 👌
All of those tanks you have hanging on the wall behind you: Are those preserved somehow against rust? Or are they too far gone and only wall art now?
Hi Mark, those are all preserved by rust. Lol they could be saved but it would take a good bit of work.
