I have seen a lot of Harleys on trailers. I suppose as we become older (not wanting to walk) and Harleys have more electronics and not as easily repaired on the side of the road it makes sense.

A bike like that ain't cheap to begin with, and then slapping that turbo on it made it worth a few thousand more, but the smile on his face is what it's really about. You can't buy smiles like that. Sean I love the videos and the great personality you bring to youtube i was in a motorcycle crash on my fatboy 1998 that was my grandpas until he sold it to me in 2022. The crash sucked but thankfully and luckily I am here to talk about it. The basics of the accident were me heading to work at 4 am at 55mph and a woman pulled out of her driveway about 60 feet in front of me and while trying to brake I over used my rear brake and I went down as the bike went sideways I let go of my bars and put my trust in the man upstairs and everything came out as good as it could have the woman left me there at the scene in her driveway and just carried on. It took about 7 vehicles to get someone to stop to see if I was ok and i waited on officers for 45 minutes and went to the hospital. My wreck was late june 2023 and the real reason i am making this comment is because in june of this year i took the bike and a roller bike to a shop to have my Evolution engine put into a less destroyed bike and 5 months later and 400 dollars and a lot of disapointments later i have my bikes back in more peices than they went in and i dont even know what do at this point i am in south west michigan and could use any assistance at all trying to re buy peices that i didnt get back fron the bike shop. I wasent rich when i wrecked and im not rich now i just want to ride again someday and it just seems like everything is trying to stop me from doing that. Im sorry for the rant and you guys seem to be the most honest biker bros ive ever heard of thanks Sean and good luck with everything you are an awesome guy and you have a lot of younger guys looking up to you and the other great personalitys on this channel
You’re making my day watching you do this bike. I had a garage fire 4 weeks ago and my Royal Enfield 500 was fire damaged, but the gutting issue was i had just spent 3 months rebuilding this bike before the fire. Time to start all over again but the upside i get to teach my 15 year old grandson to do a bike rebuild. Keep up the great work.

I have a Trask turbo on my 2018 Street Glide. If you let it cool overnight, when you first start it up you don't hear the turbo for a little while until it warms up. But if it's been running, you hear the turbo the moment you start it. Nothing sounds like a turbo Harley!
Cool story of the guy who makes them turbo kits just a random kid from New Zealand who moved to usa for motorbike school and now hes got theses crazy turbos going on Harleys everywhere, highly recommend the documentary on UA-cam, and as a new zealander im proud

80% more power on 7 psi is extremely optimistic. 7 psi is only 48% of a sea-level atmosphere. To make 80% more power, you'd have to have perfect intercooling and be at about 14,000 ft elevation. If it's making 35-40% more power, you've done really well.
It's great to have friends like that. "I need to borrow ....." and they are right away just like "yeah cool, come get it" no questions asked. In this case...it paid off!

I sustained an injury about three years ago and my Dyna has been sitting for three years. I don't even know where to start to get her on the road again and I can ride but I can't tolerate the wrenching. FML lol.

Not me. My brother is a 40 yr mechanic and high performance race motor builder, and explained to me the additional problems and premature wear a turbo can cause, and I'm no longer a turbo fan.
My feeling on the Triumph relooking is to use you disadvantage to your advantage Sean ! Maybe you could create the Bonneville Hell Roader Bike, complete with charred cylinders and crank casings ....the meanest badest blackest bike ever ... thats my feeling on it anyways ! Good Luck on your build !

Ideas on make it better? Clear clutch cover, chrome the frame, obviously Bob it, reverse forks from a modern sport bike, if it’s not a kick start, add a kick start for nostalgia.. anyway, hope it helps.
Idea for the bike challenge: Have the exhaust pipes throw fire, but strategically place the exhaust tips so it looks like the bike is on fire while driving down the street. Then just bolt some of the old burned parts back on the bike to make it look the part.

Here's an idea for the burned bike build. May seem lame but it would make sense for why its burned. Imagine there are Angel's who ferry lost souls to hell and there is one angel who was a biker / rider for all his life on earth, so his way of delivering lost souls is transporting riders / bikers who never got right with GOD before they went out on their last ride. Each time he delivers that lost rider he gets close enough to hellfire to scorch the paint and melt some plastic and whatever because the lost soul keeps begging for a ride back and he's stuck just seconds longer than he should be while the lost rider is begging and pleading. So by the time he gets away and on the journey to find the next soul his bike has scorch marks on top of the once nice paint job, scorch marks on the crankcase, and other things effected by the intense heat from the flames. Like, as you're rebuilding your burned bike half the main parts are halfway done already from the actual fire. A really trick paint job to depict a really nice paint job with burn or scorch effects combined with rims and crank case, frame and whatever and you're halfway there. Just build the components so that they're virtually new and whatever only add to them whatever effect to make them all match as if it had been ridden close to the sun and back. Like the black film on the headlight from the smoke for example. It doesn't have to actually be burned it just needs to have the appearance to give the impression it was. The angel who ferries was a good dude on earth, he was human so he wasn't perfect by any means, but he could have had a cross emblem here or there, or a bible verse done by a pinstripe artist or something. Or not. But that could be a theme that would make sense for the bike having burn damage. It runs perfect, its reliable, tough, and it never let's you down. That's the reason it's the bike that's used for that job. Add to, alter, or interpret however, it isn't a "Ghostrider" knock off or idea either. Figured I'd mention that because I realized a minute ago that someone might try to make a connection to that character but that hadn't entered my mind at all when I thought of the idea. If you've made it this far you have my apology for the novel in the comment section.

Sean, you could have found a Honda Chaly (CF50), put a Honda 125 engine in it, and stick the carb mouth straight out of the top of the frame! Check out the Japanese modded Honda Chaly customs, in Japan, here on YT. There are tons of videos from Japanese custom bike shows. So many gorgeous Chaly customs. Mean ones, all custom, with the best of everything. I bet Sr. would have been really surprised if you had done a Japanese "mini" instead of a big powerful bike, and it would have been inline with your love for small bikes, as much as big powerful ones. 😎👍

I made my own turbo kit for a GSXR750. It was a fun project. Completely transformed the bike. Definitely didn't look as nice as this one.

Sean, you could have found a Honda Chaly (CF50), put a Honda 125 engine in it, and stick the carb mouth straight out of the top of the frame! Check out the Japanese modded Honda Chaly customs, in Japan, here on YT. There are tons of videos from Japanese custom bike shows. So many gorgeous Chaly customs. Mean ones, all custom, with the best of everything. I bet Sr. would have been really surprised if you had done a Japanese "mini" instead of a big powerful bike, and it would have been inline with your love for small bikes, as much as big powerful ones. 😎👍
