Let's not jerk off Rockstar too hard. They're guilty of repeatedly remaking the same games too, bugs, flaws, and all. And their games require the player to go out into the sandbox and make their own fun to escape the tedium of the actual quests and the dullness of their vast open worlds of nothing. The only difference between the companies is the level of polish. They've been using the same engine to make games since Morrowind. They've only expanded upon their engine, adding new technologies like Havoc physics in Oblivion. However this has meant that bugs brought on by these old technologies persist. Like the frame rate being tied to the physics engine is due to Havoc from Oblivion, which now has turned into a multiplayer speedhack. (edited to correct typos)
Bethesda drone: Guys its only a beta. *Game releases in the exact same shitty state as when its "beta" launched.* Bethesda drone: Well I haven't found any of these bugs so they don't exist
I know Bethesda's response to this will just be "If you don't like what we've done here, give this game a pass and we'll have Fallout 5 coming for you later." But here's the thing Bethesda - I won't be there to buy Fallout 5. Or Starfield. Or Elder Scrolls. Or anything else you ever make. Why? Because it's about more than just 'not liking multiplayer'. It's not even just about not having NPC's or a strong story focus. It's about the complete lack of respect you show your loyal fans EVERY SINGLE TIME you put out a game KNOWING that it's an unplayable buggy mess and then leaving it a buggy mess forever and letting modders do what they can to fix it for you. If that's the level of respect you have for us, your most loyal fans, then I have no more respect for you. You are now on the list, along with Activision and EA, of companies I will NEVER support again.

I remember thinking «how the hell are they going to get the Creation Engine working in a multiplayer environment?» back when they first announced this. Turns out they couldn’t.
If you ever thought they could you were a moron. Their games don't work fully on single player, and are running on an engine that's over a decade old and kept running with metaphorical duck tape and the willpower of the fanbase (because Lord knows Bethesda doesn't do anything to keep it running). If you thought that a game made by Bethesda as an MMO with NO WAY FOR THE FANBASE TO ALTER IT was going to work, you're either huffing jet or, rather, are on some really strong skuma.
I can guarantee they approached Zenimax to ask about ESO and Zenimax were like "you need 4 years minimum to modify our engine" and Todd was like: "fuck it copy past Fallout 4 with that co-op mod we shut down"
You wanna know something sad? I’ve played this game for like 20 hours at the LEAST and I’ve NEVER seen a Scorch Beast run EVER I’ve only seen it fly and land, nothing else

"I would say no, but that would just make things worse. So, Im just going to lie, very badly. Because thats better for PR." - Todd "It just works, now give me all of your money. Dont think about it, just do it" Howard
And yet they spent all of their resources on it, lol. I think they just saw multiplayer games becoming more and more popular and decided to make one as fast as they could (hence all their resources were spent on this) to jump in as well and make more money for minimal effort. I hope that Besthesda abandons this interest in multiplayer games and counts this one as a failed experiment, waste of time and resources, and go back to spending their resources on single player rpgs. The thing is stunts like these just negatively impact their reputation. This video was funny to watch but also kind of infuriating given that they ask $60 dollars for this game. Now they better make sure that Starfield and ES6 are completely bugfree before they release those.
This is the ultimate game of what Bethesda really wants out of their games. 60 bucks out of pure laziness, and some people are actually willing to defend this.
When Todd Howard said that Fallout 76 is literally the multiplayer mechanic planned for Fallout 4 he really meant it because that's all it is. It has nothing of what a traditional Fallout game would have. Bethesda removed everything from Fallout 4, put us in a new location, added multiplayer and kept the old (but now butchered) settlement building system.
Same type of people who defend every shitty action from Activision, EA, UBI and 2K, WB and on and on... Bethesda's shit is just another pile of shit in a room full of game industry shit. Bethesda's pile is far from the stickiest pile of shit in the room.
Because these channels are purposefully uploading their bugged gameplay whilst plenty of people are playing it perfectly fine. The game is fun. Don't copy youtubers opinions and form your own. Be an individual thinker.
I'm still just in absolute disbelief as to how anybody thought this game was a good idea. "Let's take the most lukewarm Fallout game, take away the entire story, all the NPCs, and any compelling reason to play whatsoever, and then make it multiplayer." Horse balls the game. Jokes aside, I'm not really interested in RDR2 I've played the first and really enjoyed it, but I'm not going to buy a console for one game. If it comes out for PC nice, otherwise eh I can live without it.
But then, I don't hear Bethesda employees complaining about being forced to work hundreds of hours each week so horse testicles can shrink in the cold.

But here's the thing Bethesda - I won't be there to buy Fallout 5. Or Starfield. Or Elder Scrolls. Or anything else you ever make. Why? Because it's about more than just 'not liking multiplayer'. It's not even just about not having NPC's or a strong story focus.
