Thanks for watching the video if you did! If you’ve been playing Fallout 76, let me know what keeps you active on the game. I know I missed some stuff to talk about but this was the first of hopefully many videos that have this kind of style. Hope you enjoyed. NOTE: The end of the video has audio taken off. Some copyright claim took the music off. I basically said the community is great and you should give the game a shot.
I spent two years playing it to death. I loved it, bugs and all. Contrary to most, I enjoyed the original main quest, and finding out the story of Appalachia. I didn’t love wastelanders.
100% the camp building/crafting aspect. This is what REALLY sucked me in and I didn't even know I liked it. I did a little of it in Fallout 4 but it was just a take it or leave it vibe. When playing 76 I really didn't want to do any sort of crafting and that was a main negative for me when starting out. At first I hated that I couldn't loot a bad guy for all his gear (like in Fallout 4). I detested having to craft my own stuff, especially ammo. However as the game progresses and intertwines it into some quests where you learn how to do everything, I surprisingly started loving it a lot. Wanting to design a really cool base (using build tricks) and to collect different new items that come out, to show off to others as well as for my own enjoyment also played a factor. 2nd main thing was not having a game that got my adrenline going like other games. This stood out because I could play casually and lift up my arms and have no sweat stains like i would if I played any of the Cod games, which people never talk about but definitely can't be healthy (at one point I would get tightness in my chest from playing). With F76 I can login after a days work and just relaxingly play and have fun. But I can also put it down easily and come back to it later.
For me, it's trying new builds or tweaking my builds. You can be a power armor heavy gunner, commando, rifleman, melee fighter, bowman, etc. The perk card system is fantastic and I love min maxing to get every ounce of damage possible. There are buffs like food and chems as well. There are so many different systems in the game, including gear, and tweaking all of it for optimum performance gives me endless joy.
Just started the game and after doing my first random event some high level rando dropped me 200 regular stimpacks and 100 super stimpacks and sent me a message saying “you suck so take these” 10/10 gaming experience.
I would have left them there and headed off. Telling new players that, well everyone sucks when they start a new game for the first time. Being polite last time I heard, didn't cost anything.
Can confirm on the community aspect. I regularly drop food and aid outside Vault 76 to help new players. I am doing a new playthrough and had a guy track me down just to give me a Fixer (weapon) leveled to match my progression. He didn't have to do that but it was the nicest thing ever.
I keep a free food shop open with my camp. All water and food is always free. I have a little farm so I regularly can craft a lot of basic foods and stuff em in my shop with signs stating free food and water
as a veteran who has been playing since beta ive seen people come and go ive seen the player base go from toxic to friendly and i can say this game is awsome ive been playing it for almost 5 years
Played since Launch, another thing to note is: Players who played BEFORE the NPC'S DLC get special dialouge for quests. Characters will talk about how dangerous something is or remarks on the amount of people around and if you've played before they added NPC's you have options like... "I've been all around since before people came back" "I know what Im doing, been there done that." And other cool secret choices many dont know about.
@@MrSaviorHD There are also secret choices for: Being above level 50 (this is basically the "Im experienced and know wtf Im doing choice to shut up an NPC talking to you like you dont know how dangerous something is) And choices for completing side quests. You can remark on side quests you've done and if you complete a certain little questline you'll be able to get past security bots by telling them you have this authority to do what you want and they will allow you to pass freely. This alsp extends to human NPC's to an extent (This questline starts at the whitespring bunker)
@@mrplayfulshadealso if you've done the training at camp mclintock and have a soldiers certificate, you can use that to fool robots ( and sometimes people) into doing things under your authority
Hated on the game and never touched it since beta. Picked it back up 2 months ago and I’ve played it everyday and have reached lvl 318 and have had the best time ever. Spend most of my time going after apparel and camp items. It’s so much fun seeing other peoples camps and helping newer players.
You just described exactly what I experienced. Only difference is I'm level 315. Never knew I'd love the camp building aspect so much. However because of this and wanting to get all the cool items to add to my camp it has sucked a lot of $$ out of my wallet =(
5:56 The 'companions' don't follow you around for the most part, they have their quests that they'll meet you at/be at, but once you complete the questline they just stay at the camp and give you a daily fetch quest Even the specific pets you can tame will only travel to your camp then stay there, that is until they get killed or simply never respawn when you load up your camp next time
I have been playing 76 since launch and haven't set it down since and as you've said, we are welcoming to new players and love our community. The game is not perfect but it's a relaxing game that doesn't require much attention
@danielprotaganist7551 i mean if you want a proper story game stick with F4 it's no contest. The problem with F76 is radiant and repetitive missions. Idc about "the community" that's never been a selling point for me but if you can get down with that then maybe there's a case to be made for playing it.
Something that is unique in comparison to other fallout games is the camp building. I've seen some amazing camps, people really let their imagination go wild.
The fun thing is: the friendly community of F76 is basically that, what the developers had in mind with one the first story lines: get out of the vault and rebuild society as a responder. Everybody takes care for each other and for those who are in need. And it is basically that, what Travis Miles, the radio host in Fallout 4, was always talking about: a vault dweller showed up and gave you a hand or a gun.
I played day one launch and it was tedious. I came back about a year ago and it's massively improved. I've logged about 10x the amount of hours I did when i first tried to play through it. They keep rolling out updates and when it was on sale it was $10. Well worth it imho
100% When this game is on sale it’s a no questions asked purchase. The amount of content and time you can put in solo or with friends is great. Also Atlantic City update coming along soon meaning more sales!
The level scaling simplification of the game is also an issue in ESO. I miss when locations had levelled content without scaling. I like going to a place that is horrendous that I know ill be able to handle when I get stronger.
Not having level scaling is what drives me away from video games. Sometimes you want to compete to story. But if the story levels you too slowly, it lures you into zones above your level. Now you get lost as you have to waste countless hours grinding irrelevant content to level up. By that point, you lose interest in the story or even forget why or what you're doing, and you log out for the last time of your life.
Let me leave you with something that will give you bigger hope for starfield. Fallout 76, before its release, was made by Bethesdas B team stationed in Dallas, a much smaller team, and they were given 3 years to work on it. And with constant updates and new content added over 5 years, it's a much better, and playable game. So, after a total of 8 years of development. Starfield has been in development, also for 8 years, by Bethesdas A team, in Austin. They've been working on it since they finished Fallout 4. And, Todd Howard has always said that a space game has been main goal since he was hired at Bethesda 25 years ago. They have much more passion and ambition put into Starfield than they ever did with Elder Scrolls and Fallout
Thank you for your honest and open-minded review of the game; as someone who has played it since launch I can say it's a much better experience now and your review is an accurate description of the current gameplay experience.
i bought 76 when it first launched on steam back in 2020, but couldnt really get into it. Then one fateful day around a year later after trying the game for a second time that something clicked. 243 hours later i adore this game.
11:43 this guy sounds like someone in their mid 60s named jerry who lives in a small rural town in South Dakota and wears a old baseball cap and works on car engines.
As someone who has played every Fallout (except tactics) I feel this is the most engaging game you can play to scratch that Fallout itch. There's plenty to do, plenty to see. And there is a story, I will honestly never understand the people who say there's no lore or anything like that. It's not a perfect game by any means, but it is definitely a good experience, especially with recent changes. 1900 hours logged and I don't see myself giving it up any time soon.
You don't even have to do the daily quests to do expeditions (after the first time) anymore, and you can do as many as you want. It's a great community and something fun to play while listening to podcasts.
Started not long after Wastelanders with a few friends, we are all still regular players and I'm STILL chasing rolls on my guns. 76 has been a real treat to play from top to bottom and it always overjoys me when I see a new low level exploring the forest. I've made it a hobby to make a best in slot 10mm SMG and a random hat to drop for new players, sure the gun isn't the best but it is a great starter weapon and I love watching em equip it and start blasting.
I've been playing this game since the Beta and still do to this day. I've enjoy my experience with it and of course I did have some downs and took a couple of breaks for the game. But I would always come back to it, especially when it gets a new update. Oddly enough, I actually miss the old version of the game. Back when there were no human NPC's. Back when the game felt empty and isolated. It kinda reminded me of how lonely it feels when traveling the Capital Wasteland in Fallout 3 until you get ambushed by a creature or robot. I do enjoy Fallout 76 in its current state, but I wish Bethesda could bring back the pre Wastelanders version in a different game mode or something.
I did the Sheepsquatch side quest and thought I was gonna have to level up and do the mission some other day because it was WAY too hard. Then out of nowhere, 4 hulking players in power armor, level 100's and 200's, come dropping in with jet packs and start SLAUGHTERING the robots and Sheepsquatch. I was in AW, I wish I recorded it. Most badass thing that happened in that game so far.
It’s crazy you just dropped because I just got back into this game after hating on it for the last 6 years when I bought it day one and HATED IT but now it actually good , real addicting gameplay when you figure everything out
I stumbled across your vidoe review. I am a daily player of 76 and Camp Creator. Your honest review of it is refreshing to see especially when others who have played the game at launch and still bash it but haven't played it since. You got a new sub from me.. Welcome back to the wastland as well.
I am a recently new player to the game myself. I only started about a week ago. That last guy you talk to summed up the game beautifully. The community is absolutely amazing. I’ve had so many people help me out along the way and had such great interactions with great players. I’m truly loving my experience in this game so far!!
Yeah, I've played the game for a few hours and I had about 3-4 higher level players just randomly walk up to me and give me free shit. One dude even tried to give me a suit of power armor but for whatever reason I couldn't get into it. Regardless of whether the game is good or not, it's so nice to have a gaming community that isn't toxic af.
My first experience was pretty rare. I never experienced any bugs or glitches. The only issues I had was my friends stoped playing because of the bad publicity and the limited storage for items really halted a lot of progress. And also the leveling/experience point system kinda screwed you over.
I played the beta and previous fallouts but had mixed feelings about multiplayer. Fast forward 1/2022 I download it with my friend and we start exploring. We were exploring places level 12s shouldn’t , got knocked out and it spawned us at a cabin in the mire. We were swarmed by charred ghouls running for our lives when out of the blue a level 300 comes by and handles it.
I played it a while ago on PS5 and now on Steam again - it's an awesome game. People who like Fallout 3+ should try it - it's very worth it. Also I haven't spent a cent on it.
If your thinking of getting back on fallout 4 I highly recommend skipping 4 and trying out 76. We’re 4 falls short in the story etc 76 picks up the best parts of the fallout series. Shooting, exploration, and creating a build, quirky wasteland lore and Easter eggs. Even if your just looking to explore a new wasteland 76 really gives you the classic fallout experience and more now that the game is actually finished
I think that the only downside is have to pay monthly ( or yearly) for the unlimited scrapbox, this box makes all the difference when you have to gather resources to craft ammo
This is a standard bathesda mmo tactic sadly. Life without the scrap box is certainly challenging and I did it for my first month of game play but when I found out about “the pit” And the core recharger that comes with it; I had to have that and a and a subscription if I was going to keep playing. I do think that what you get for $15 a month is a bit lacking but at a certain point the game is about unplayable if you don’t subscribe.
I quit playing after learning I needed to pay a subscription to the game just to be able to store more stuff at my camp. And teleporting to player bases that would be set up as traps to kill you and steal your stuff. Toxic af and public events were ALWAYS bugged. (This was 2019-2020)
I'd say its worth playing through once, preferably with friends although you often are doing your own thing. It's fun to build up your camp and check out others, and crafting collecting parts and exploring can be fun. The quests were added after launch I heard, and some of them are entirely forgettable but some are fun with typical fallout humor. I try to jump back into it though and, there isn't enough to hold my attention farming events and what not.
I played recently and completed all the quests. It's a pretty fun game and the players you meet are always friendly and drop you their excess gear and stuff
i played the game at release and stopped at level 30. hated on it for like 5 years straight until i reinstalled last week on a random whim and i honestly haven't stopped playing since then. it's so good and theres so much to do - it's finally a real game!!! absolutely loving it and the community
I remember coming back and met a lvl 100+ player and while trying to use the emote i accidentally threw a grenade. He could of easily started combat and murder me but he could tell I was new. Instead he helped me get started with early quests and learn the map. The game isnt perfect but the community is 10/10
The moment when you and your friend downed each other was like the end of a Samurai battle the way you both delivered the final blow and ended up on one knee facing the opposite directions! XD Wasteland Cat's speech was so touching it reminded me that this sense of community and helping people out should always be applied to real life as well as in game, always be kind and help people no matter where they come from or what they look like, be a good person because thats why we are on this planet.
@5:54 My only comment here... you cannot have the AI companion with you... it stays at your CAMP and defends yoiur CAMP and gives you radiant quests. If it is a quest companion, it will give you quests and when you finish them you get radiant quests. The ones defined as Lite Allies dont have quests associated to them but all of them give now radiant quests as well. The difference between the Quest Allies and the Lite Allies is that you can Romance the Quest Allies regardless of your gender and get a better buff called Lover's Embrace (same as in F4)... otherwise the buff has another name. It was different before now they are both the same with different names :) The rest is on point.
"FREE FOR ALL PLAYERS" Let us not forget those of us who payed 60 to $200 on this game. This was the first game i had ever pre ordered, I loved fallout 4 and was ready for more. I will never pre order again.
Started about 2 years after it came out - it is an awesome game especially if you love the fallout universe. As you stated it's the perfect game to jump out off and jump right back into.
Honestly I always found it fun I’ve played it pretty close to launch and it was fun as and wastelanders was such a massive expansion and rewards you for doing the new quests while progressing through the oldest quests before dlc’s drop
90% of the community is like that guy you asked why he plays. At least on Xbox. Also my reason for playing is to collect to free items off the scorecard and to keep adding on and building camps.
I Just started the game for the first time about a week ago, im currently lvl 71. I can say it is very boring at first, but it gets waaaay better later on. once you hit level 30 things get interesting.
First off, thank you. This game had a bad wrap at first. I didn’t even try it on beta because I was a fool and listened to all the negative hype. I started playing around 2020 right before the wastelanders updated and it became my favorite game over time. The more I played, the more they added and it just kept getting more fun. I’m now level 611 and my only regret is I wish I started playing sooner.
I remember when the game first launched. Just how many people were near the starting vault. For how big the map is, it feels like most people generally stick to the same areas. Whether that be for bases or grinding loot spots. I agree that 24 is pretty much perfect. I can’t imagine it being more. Just funny that’s it’s classified as “MMO” for 24 players.
@@MrSaviorHDI've decided to cook the term mmo lite for games like this. Technically a massive multiplayer game, but is limited in some way. This games example being you can server hop between any server of 23 other people. Or Warframe being another, hub areas having a lot of people, but you'll never see more than three other players in combat areas. It's a mmo with gameplay areas limited to a certain number, hence mmo lite
The game had a terrible launch, and I am surprised that the game didn't die out after a year or so. The game certainly did improve a lot since launch and with it being on sale quite offer and being on gamepass and with most if not all major content updates being free, no reason not to give it another go and also I like to collect power armor suits currently have 100 on me at all times lol, its fun to place them in one area and have people go WTF. Also day one player here as well.
Grinding legendary weapons and tedious management of limited storage space isn't fun. There are some of the quests that are interesting at best, but the rest of the game feels more like a chore, not something you do for fun.
All I heard about this game were bad things at the start and then I kinda forgot about it. I finished Fallout 4 a few days ago and decided to check up on 76 today! I'm pleasantly surprised that it has improved so much over the time and it's kinda unbelievable. Good video man 💯
Started playing again early this year and has been the to go to game for me and my friend, the community is really friendly and I've been having a blast playing events in the game with total strangers aswell!
I love leveling and story of this game. My first fallout and it has such interesting vibe. From time to time I return just for start new character, complete quest and log out. I love that part when you trying to survive
The community is honestly the best part of 76. There’s something for just about any type of player whether it’s pvpers, people who search for grolls or builders. Everyone gets so hype from new updates and new bugs/glitches that come with them that we discover. 😂 I remember returning to the game about a year ago and being terrified of the high level that was trying to help me , she gave up eventually. But when I left, nuclear winter was a thing and people would kill you for the hell of it anyways. It’s so different now but still the same in ways.
the Wateland Cat guy had such a nice voice. I could listen to him telling me a story about his adventures in the game. Thank you for this Video. I might try it out with my wife.
Fallout 76 is a lot of fun and it's cool just going around to people's C.A.M.P.s and doing the public events. I love meeting new people and the community is the best!
I played this game on launch a lot. Explored pretty much everything, did most of the quests that seemed interesting and basically hit "end game". The only issue back then was, there was no end game. Also the amount of bugs was insane, I had to restart the game atleast once an hour because I got a bug where I couldn't deal damage. I tried it again after a few years when the NPC update launched and realized that they built the game around insane grinding. Once you've been around the block and seen the world and its locations, you start to see the live service aspect of it. A lot of tedious stuff to grind some cosmetics that you could buy from the shop or something similar/better. The events and stuff became repetative fast. It was and still is a Bethesda game, with bugs and all and for me the most interesting aspect was exploring the world. Once that was done, I didn't really see why play it anymore.
I'm on this game practically every day and I do it to get my fix of shooting and building stuff. Taken a few hiatuses here and there since launch but I always find my way back.
its a win and a loss. I am glad to see them supporting the game as a proper live service game but most people just wanted a co-op fallout not a "mmo". For me even with the updates the game is just doing the same few events over and over to get my daily quota of gamba currency so I can try to get god rolls.
As much as like the current state for 76 cause its fun to play with friends, I do wish they went with that familiar co-op style as well. Perhaps with Elder Scrolls 6? It's nice to have dreams.
@@MrSaviorHD I have fully maxed out a character which requires like level 500, and I have other characters too. We log in to do daily ops, an occasional expedition, and to complete the new scoreboards and the new group events to get the special new unlocks. The endgame loot system is very time consuming and not even necessary to get "god rolls". We really only have fun when we play with friends or people are doing ridiculous things :). have you ever heard of Meat Week? Thats coming soon and we shall have our meat cook!
I played it for several years...but hung it up for Diablo IV, Baldur's Gate III, and Starfield...which virtually came out 3 at once. Well maybe within 2 a half months of each other. But I loved Fallout 76...and doing each season was a blast!
I can say without a doubt , we have the best community out there !! Sure you come across griefers from time to time as in any game but i guarantee if theres items you need , help with anything at all , or just something you are wanting , yiu wont have to look hard at all , 76 is the ONLY game i play and i play it faithfully (should probably touch grass😅) buuuut helping low levs and players just starting out is one of my favorite part of the game its always awesome getting a new player into this great game , there is SO much to do ,and yeah it can be a bit overwhelming first starting out but again thats what us veteran players are here for , yiu have the option to not even do the quest , you can jump straight in and just do events , start your camp , roleplay , etc. Once you really get into it and get materials, the camp building feature is pretty awesome and can be incredibly satisfying, ive seen some insane bases in this game , some players strictly play 76 for building also , no matter your playstyle or your interests there is something in fallout 76 for you !! I will always encourage people to experience fallout 76 at least once , all hail todd , all hail bugthesda 🎉😊
my gameplay is full of wholesomness. met a dude who gave me couple power cores, another gave me a suppressed sniper rifle which was from an even and someone gave me some amazing food. After that, i start giving random people things they might need like 20 stims or decked out gun with a mod i installed
I'm level 647 with almost 500 hours in the games; and unfortunately I think I've finally hit the point of finding a reason to continue to play. I've done everything there is to do in the game, I can run through Daily Ops solo everyday, and the "dungeon"; launching nukes has lost that novelty and awe. Ik all the best Chems and food item buffs, weapon mods, armour etc etc and it's kinda sad tbh. I really want to keep playing but for end game "vet" players like me there's simply nothing left.
The guy who told you that the community likes helping new players didn’t sound how I was expecting him to sound AT ALL. He sounded like a straight up cowboy, dude. That’s awesome
i had a low level player ask if i could trade something of his for a mask that i have thats quite rare, i gave it to them for free because they asked nicely and i want them to experience the true fo76 community hospitality im sure theyll never forget. They ended up following me to a few events after 😂happy to help
The first time i played fallout 76 was around when nuclear winter was still a game mode and i had much fun exploring and didnt even know fallout 76 had a bad start and was buggy i played it out of curiosity
When it comes to new players, I tend to help them learn mechanics, suggest easy starting camp builds, start them on quest chains that will shape their time and character. What I don’t do is give them stuff. The starting struggle is part of the experience. Learning to manage weight, the elation of building that first power armor set, managing ammo counts because you have to loot or make every bullet, finding good looking clothing options from the world, all as a new player makes it fun and interesting.
Been sticking around since the Settler’s content, and I’m still having fun. Nothing like helping newer players, and experimenting with different builds.
Been playing since 2020, and honestly the only thing keeping this game alive is the community. It doesn't have a lot of content for a game of its type. But there's nothing else like it, so i keep playing.
5:10 Made me laugh so hard! fantastic expression of what is unique to the Fallout/Elderscrolls Franchise. Running away after you entered whatsoever in hope for loot or any kind of progress, only to run for your live.
I was really resistant to playing Fo76 at first, was even more so when they brought the BoS in to it as I'm a big fan of the lore and some of it didn't quite fit. But I finally crumbled and picked it up 2 week ago. And I'm glad I did I've been having a blast just making it in the world by myself. Hopefully some of my friends that want to play it will give it a try and I can be that helping hand that's been there to help me on the odd occasion.
Same for me with the lore. I rly care about it and I was worried about the kind of Retcons they made to fit the BoS in to Appalachia. But I found a guide and went through the original Brotherhood storyline and then the Steel Dawn/Steel Reign expansions, and I buy it. Nothing was really retconned.
I have played since launch and I play just about every day. I never had that many bugs at launch like so many complained about-- I think probably because at that time, I played solo, so I avoided other players (less crashes and weird stuff that way, I guess). I used to avoid fast travel and hoofed it everywhere, and that let me see a LOT of interesting random encounters and Fallout-ity stuff. My only complaint is that I would like to see more longer questlines come with updates for us players who have already done everything else. It would be a great time for a new player to come in as there is so much to do!
Nuclear war was really a different time, hopefully it will make a come back but since being back on again, playing events and joining teams is actually enjoyable
My friend and I just got back into this game, everything you mentioned is 100% accurate. I am a beta tester and played on release, never would of suggested it to anyone. Nowadays I tell everyone to buy it and I end up being "that fallout guy who likes 76" the ones who actually take my advice; well they're all sweating it out as you're watching this video and reading the comments ♡
I played from launch to 2020. The developers are not very veteran friendly. Only thing that kept me around was pvp, once that was gone I quit with around 2k hours into the game
There have been so many great changes since the launch in 2018... To me, the game is fantastic where it's at, and there's still more updates being planned and pushed out. The ones who are working on 76 are dedicated.
I started playing around 2021 and it was fun until some quests I can’t complete- with Sheepsquatch and the other I can’t even remember rn. And you can’t go there in groups. And the damn thing is levels up with you. So daily quests and lone wandering for me.
If everyone on youtube made content like this, i would be devastated since i couldnt be so happy about your videos that are much more interesting, and enjoyable than most content! Great job!
I started playing in 2021, and I really enjoyed it for a while, but got tired of it, as inventory management was just too tedious to deal with and really made it feel like more work than play. But after getting sick recently, I started playing again, and I really have been enjoying it. The playerbase is amazing, the new content is great, and it just feels satisfying and endless. I changed the way I play a bit to add more diversity to what I'm doing, and it's really made it more enjoyable. I'm a solo player, but one of my favorite things is doing events and daily ops. It really adds a lot of excitement and anticipation waiting for the next big event, and you get to meet a lot of great people and see how others play, which makes me change my playstyle a bit. It's come a long way. I wasn't there at the beginning, but I can see how much progress the game has made in just 2 years. They really put the effort in to make it a fun game.
It didnt clicked for me for the first time, nor second but i just love so much the Fallout verse that i had to try it again and it somehow clicked finally and i cant put it down now. "it just feels satisfying and endless" probabbly the best description about the game.
I bought the Tricentennial edition on release in 2018 after playing the beta for weeks. I spent nearly a $100 on it. I played it on the day of release and found the game so dull. I thought the full version would be interesting. It wasn’t. I switched back to Fallout4. Since then I’ve amassed 195 hours on FO4 and zero on F76.
Came back about a week ago after 3 1/2 years. I regret not playing it more often throughout those years because of how much I forgot, didn’t learn and just how far back I am compared to others. Literally decided to make a new character and just kinda restart and I can’t drop the game.
Fallout 76

@@jesmondsaunders7746 To be fair, most people who played it loved it, those who didn't play more than 1 hour, or on console are the one hating it.
Just started the game and after doing my first random event some high level rando dropped me 200 regular stimpacks and 100 super stimpacks and sent me a message saying “you suck so take these” 10/10 gaming experience.
lmao
😂😂I don’t know what fallout 76 is about but that sounds hella cool, I might get this

Can confirm on the community aspect. I regularly drop food and aid outside Vault 76 to help new players. I am doing a new playthrough and had a guy track me down just to give me a Fixer (weapon) leveled to match my progression. He didn't have to do that but it was the nicest thing ever.
Now you can put it in the box for new players too. And I have put some stuff in there, although more than enough.

Played since Launch, another thing to note is:
Players who played BEFORE the NPC'S DLC get special dialouge for quests. Characters will talk about how dangerous something is or remarks on the amount of people around and if you've played before they added NPC's you have options like...
"I've been all around since before people came back"
"I know what Im doing, been there done that."
And other cool secret choices many dont know about.
Also there are negative stat choices. What I mean is if your intelligence is too low you'll get dum dum choices and they are pretty funny of course
Oh that’s dope!
@@MrSaviorHD There are also secret choices for:
Being above level 50 (this is basically the "Im experienced and know wtf Im doing choice to shut up an NPC talking to you like you dont know how dangerous something is)
And choices for completing side quests. You can remark on side quests you've done and if you complete a certain little questline you'll be able to get past security bots by telling them you have this authority to do what you want and they will allow you to pass freely. This alsp extends to human NPC's to an extent (This questline starts at the whitespring bunker)

Hated on the game and never touched it since beta. Picked it back up 2 months ago and I’ve played it everyday and have reached lvl 318 and have had the best time ever. Spend most of my time going after apparel and camp items. It’s so much fun seeing other peoples camps and helping newer players.
Thank you for helping new players. Truly.
You just described exactly what I experienced. Only difference is I'm level 315. Never knew I'd love the camp building aspect so much. However because of this and wanting to get all the cool items to add to my camp it has sucked a lot of $$ out of my wallet =(

5:56 The 'companions' don't follow you around for the most part, they have their quests that they'll meet you at/be at, but once you complete the questline they just stay at the camp and give you a daily fetch quest
Even the specific pets you can tame will only travel to your camp then stay there, that is until they get killed or simply never respawn when you load up your camp next time
Thanks for the info! I'll stay away from pets, cause I don't want that trauma.
I have been playing 76 since launch and haven't set it down since and as you've said, we are welcoming to new players and love our community. The game is not perfect but it's a relaxing game that doesn't require much attention
Love the community!
Y'all have convinced me to buy it. Was going to run NV or F4 again but really want something new.
@danielprotaganist7551 i mean if you want a proper story game stick with F4 it's no contest. The problem with F76 is radiant and repetitive missions. Idc about "the community" that's never been a selling point for me but if you can get down with that then maybe there's a case to be made for playing it.

@@danielprotaganist7551 hopefully you reconsidered and didn’t purchase it.
Something that is unique in comparison to other fallout games is the camp building. I've seen some amazing camps, people really let their imagination go wild.
my fav part of the game, i run a mini-mart store with stocked shelfs due to gitches and its so much fun
About to buy me and my friend the game next time it goes on sale, we mainly build bases in FO4 so we’re gonna build a rlly nice camp on this😂
Some dudes are doing some UNHINGED stuff for real, I've seen people merging 3m talls staircase into the ground just to craft a realistic step
It's without a doubt my favourite thing to do, to build more and more on my camp and try to make it look nicer and nicer
I love building. I have all the camp slots and all the shelters ❤️
They should have an option for both of you guys
Game actually looks really good now for people who like this genre; gives me an inkling of hope for Starfield. Loved the vid
I'm hoping and praying that Starfield is the best game to ever game.
@@eirikjormungandrson Yeah, the outline and conceptualization for Starfield began after Morrowind came out in 2002. It's gotta be good.
@@eirikjormungandrson I knew it was the B team but I never knew the time frames given to work. Starfield seems promising. Fingers crossed.
Just hope it dosen't take as long to become an ok experience...but it is Bethesda
Who else is here cuz is gona be free tomorrow? lol worth a try i guess

I miss tactics
Story is tedious asf, go there do this, come back go there collect 3 things across the whole map, just to do the thing you originally needed to do
@@lukeharper3102 those are called missions.
You don't even have to do the daily quests to do expeditions (after the first time) anymore, and you can do as many as you want.
It's a great community and something fun to play while listening to podcasts.
Thanks for the tip! I have yet to go back and try since I'm level 38 now.
God bless you. That 10mm SMG is a blast.
Yeah, I wouldn't mind that but did not enjoy the original game, think I would now, would make a change.
IMO it felt very eerie at launch as the map is 4 times the size of Fallout 4. It is very lively now I enjoy the state it is in.
Started 2 weeks ago and I don't regret. The community is awesome and the game is... Fallout. It feels like Fallout. I like that 😊

Without any preexisting knowledge of Fallout 76, hearing the line "They finally introduced NPCs in an update couple of months ago" is wild

I appreciate that! Im trying to give some honest opinions cause recently there hasn’t been many.
@@davisbowe8668Probably you weren't high enough level to get in because of the pieces on it.
My first experience was pretty rare. I never experienced any bugs or glitches. The only issues I had was my friends stoped playing because of the bad publicity and the limited storage for items really halted a lot of progress. And also the leveling/experience point system kinda screwed you over.
The only bugs I experienced during the first years, were building issues. Sooooo glad it has improved
U definitely experienced bugs just didn’t notice them
I played the beta and previous fallouts but had mixed feelings about multiplayer.
Big Agree
This is a standard bathesda mmo tactic sadly. Life without the scrap box is certainly challenging and I did it for my first month of game play but when I found out about “the pit” And the core recharger that comes with it; I had to have that and a and a subscription if I was going to keep playing. I do think that what you get for $15 a month is a bit lacking but at a certain point the game is about unplayable if you don’t subscribe.
I was paying about $10 a month IIRC, which is very cheap, especially considering eating out for lunch is about $15 per day
It’s cheap for someone who have a salary in USD, in my currency is 53, it’s expensive for me, unfortunately.
Now it includes ammo box and survival tent.
Love that
I remember coming back and met a lvl 100+ player and while trying to use the emote i accidentally threw a grenade.
I loved how the PVP fight went.
Oh that’s actually cool. I didn’t that far into the companions with the gameplay I had. To be fair, I never really use them in Bethesda games anyways.
@@MrSaviorHD no problem my friend :) In this case of F76 you are missing a nice buff after resting :)

Love the community.
I Just started the game for the first time about a week ago, im currently lvl 71. I can say it is very boring at first, but it gets waaaay better later on. once you hit level 30 things get interesting.
I played at launch, tried it again at settlers and finally came back during dread island season and kind of fell in love with it.
Dan seems so fun to play with and he's so chill 😎
First off, thank you. This game had a bad wrap at first. I didn’t even try it on beta because I was a fool and listened to all the negative hype. I started playing around 2020 right before the wastelanders updated and it became my favorite game over time. The more I played, the more they added and it just kept getting more fun. I’m now level 611 and my only regret is I wish I started playing sooner.
24 players in the world is enough, it actually gets pretty annoying having far too many running about, especially if you're farming for things.
@@MrSaviorHD LOL That is funny! I have to say though I am actually having more fun with this game now though.

Fallout 76 is a lot of fun and it's cool just going around to people's C.A.M.P.s and doing the public events. I love meeting new people and the community is the best!
I just cant comprehend how people build certain bases. They are so intricate.
I love building my camp for others to use as a pit stop...always finding stuff left behind from other players as a thank you.
We really only have fun when we play with friends or people are doing ridiculous things :). have you ever heard of Meat Week? Thats coming soon and we shall have our meat cook!
Forgot to mention the people obsessed with Camp Building only, that is the real endgame lol
I played it for several years...but hung it up for Diablo IV, Baldur's Gate III, and Starfield...which virtually came out 3 at once. Well maybe within 2 a half months of each other. But I loved Fallout 76...and doing each season was a blast!

I only started playing back in like... August 2022 I think? And it's become my obsession ever since. The events and questlines are so good now!
Keep telling yourself that. Bad dope remedial MMO

7:14 "uhh i died." amazing.
Raw emotion on screen circa 2023
@@MrSaviorHD the follow-up "NoOoOo~" seconds after from the grand Falloutfreak51 was also amazing
Been playing since 2020, and honestly the only thing keeping this game alive is the community. It doesn't have a lot of content for a game of its type.
But there's nothing else like it, so i keep playing.
Currently playing on PS4, it’s slightly better than usual and that’s to the weird FPS buff things spawn in a tad faster
The disaster that 76 was at launch I think is the only reason Starfield was in such good shape when it came out.
I love this game. Great video. Fun. Shanks.
Glad you enjoyed!

Made me laugh so hard!
fantastic expression of what is unique to the Fallout/Elderscrolls Franchise.
Running away after you entered whatsoever in hope for loot or any kind of progress, only to run for your live.
How is 2024 8monthe ago
Hoping Atlantic City update has something in there for you.
That high level player gave you about 10,000 worth of outfits.
I am forever grateful
I definitly noticed like a year or two ago the stutter and lag got noticeably better. so that's something.
If everyone on youtube made content like this, i would be devastated
since i couldnt be so happy about your videos that are much more interesting, and enjoyable than most content!
Here's to hoping with the Fallout show coming out that the player base increases again.
I REALLY hope the show is good.
Most 76 players love helping new players
Came back about a week ago after 3 1/2 years. I regret not playing it more often throughout those years because of how much I forgot, didn’t learn and just how far back I am compared to others. Literally decided to make a new character and just kinda restart and I can’t drop the game.
In the shittiest game grew up the best comunity I've ever enountered in a multiplayer game
How the turntables
Great vid Saviour! After a 5 month afk from 76, watching this vid has made me want to play it again. tyvm o7
